This cottage is one of Pentwater's historic homes and it is very charming. We loved sitting on the wrap around porch sipping our coffee. The location is perfect and you can walk to the shops in like two minutes! It was a very hot week, however the home stayed fairly cool for not having air conditioning, the fans did the trick for us. The bathtub/shower would be difficult for anyone older or with a disability to get in and out of, however it was very functional other wise. Our deposit was returned to us very quickly and that was really appreciated also! We would love to stay there again.Recommended for: Sightseeing, tourists without a car, girls getaway, families with young children, pet owners, romantic getaway, families with teenagers.

Nieces Had a Great Time

Introduced my nieces (15,12,11,10) to Pentwater in June 2010. We had excellent weather, warm water, multiple sandcastles, lots of ice cream and tons of laughs. It was an "all girls" vacation and made more fun by staying in this cottage. It was a true cottage in the sense that it was charming and old, but clean and well kept. I am a former Pentwater resident (22 years) and go back as much as possible. The last time the nieces were in Pentwater, they were babies so staying at the cottage allowed them to get reaquainted with Pentwater. Doing dishes was a new concept to these girls but that's what made it fun. This cottage was perfect for us and the location was excellent. Girls enjoyed being "independent." We're already talking about next year. Thanks for a wonderful time!Recommended for: Sightseeing, tourists without a car, girls getaway, families with young children, pet owners.
