Wake up and fall asleep at the murmur of gentle waves at SUPERVISTA on the Sand in Santa Teresa!
There is nothing else on the entire 7 km stretch of beaches in Santa Teresa Malpais to match the full-on beach location of our three SUPERVISTA Bungalows. Any closer and you would be In the water. Each Bungalow sleeps 1-4 people. (The whole compound can accomodate up to 10.)
All you need to do to celebrate the morning is sip your smoothie on your large verandah, hit the waves or roll out the your yoga mat on the deck or sand to start your day!
Each SUPERVISTA Bungalowl offers WIFI, air conditioning, a well equipped kitchenette with fridge, indoor and outdoor shower and a large verandah with dining room table , hammocks and comfortable lounge chairs. There is Daily Maid service as well as Laundry Service by request.
The bedroom has a Queen size bed and each Casita also has a small sleeping loft with a queen size bed.
Banana Trees surround the oceanfront deck. When the fruit is ripe you can pick it from your chair! For more sustenance there is a Supermarket two minutes away by foot and Board hire and an Internet Café around the corner as well as Yoga a little Spa and many places to eat.
The are many small restaurants within walking distance specializing in everything from Fish, Thai, Argentinean, Brazilian, Italian and of course Costa Rican dishes.
There is also Car Rental and Quad Rental nearby, a Yoga Center and small Spa across the street.
We can help you order a Massage at your Casita as well a a Private Yoga Instructor or Surf Teacher if you wish. Also, we can help you organize a Fishing Trip with the fishermen (Last week we got 7 Tuna and 1 Wahoo!) which is when you’ll be able to use the Barbeque provided.
We can point you in the right directions for Exiting Trips to Zip Lines, Waterfalls, Nature Reserves, Snorkeling at Isla Tortuga and Riding on a 1000 acre ocean Finca nearby or just down the beach. (We have two horses of our own that we rent that can pick you up on your doorstep saddled and ready).
SUPERVISTA can also be rented as a whole compound, ideal for a family group or a group of friends.
We also do small weddings. Honeymoons too of course!

Here I am with my coconut!
Swedish/British a former journalist, designer and globetrotter. Have lived in London, Paris, The Napa Valley (in the Wine business) and in wonderful San Francisco. Speak English, French, German Swedish and Spanish. Our whole family surfs and rides our beautiful horses on the beach.
We own three more beachfront properties but Supervista is our little jewel!
We love Costa Rica and searched high and low until we fond Paradise here in Santa Teresa.

Why the Owner Chose Playa Santa Teresa
SUPERVISTA is where I used to stay five years ago while I was building our 5 bedroom beachfront house La Casona #126695 a few hundred yards up the beach.
The three Bungalows are self sufficient and self contained and are the only ones on the whole of Santa Teresa Beach to be located right ON the beach. I so loved the location that when they came up for sale, I decided we should buy them. When we rent our big house out we stay here!

We rented one of the beach front bungalows from Anna for about 10 days in July and it was an absolutely perfect setting and vacation. While simple, the bungalows are very comfortable, with large covered porches opening up right to the beach. Anna was a great host, providing good tips for local activities including a great surfing instructor (Richard). My fiancee actually ended up proposing here as it was quite the romantic setting and I am sure that we will be back! One thing I would recommend is to rent a car - we did not and were able to walk most places but it would have been a bit easier over all especially for surfing to have had a car.

Only 2 of the 3 casitas are ocean front with veranda's. The house in the back has no veranda and only place to sit outside is on a concrete table with a view of the other 2 houses. Very poor steps leading up to the back house and it cost the same. We were not told any of this before we arrived and it spoiled our stay. The front two are nice, but you have to make sure that is what you are renting. I emailed Anna and asked her to be honest with her rentals from now on. Hopefully that will help. Because of the deception, I would not recommend this location.
Owner response:Casita number three is larger than the other two with an extra bed and newly renovated. It has an ocean view and is still just by the waves of the Pacific situated just 15 meters behind and between the other two. All three casitas have the typical Costa Rican concrete beach tables and benches with large umbrellas and a hammock. This Casita has three beds instead of two and is suitable for up to four people. There is a photograph of it on VRBO.

We spent 10 days in Super Vistas, and it was fantastic. Santa Teresa is for anyone who enjoys being close to nature, surfing and Yoga, or just relaxing and enjoying good food. The combination of these things make Santa Teresa calming for the mind and soul. And Super Vistas bungalows was the perfect spot to live in. The hostess and staff at Super Vistas were always helpful and pleasant. We lived in the house right at the beach. It is a true privilege to be able to fall asleep every night listening to the sound of the Pacific Ocean.

My whife and I got married on the beach outside the bungalow (see picture above). I can with all of my heart recomend this place, this bungalow for the small and intimite wedding or honneymoon. Nothing beats hearing and seeing the ocean from the bedroom.

I loved my stay at Supervista, it couldn't be closer to the sea without being in it! from perfect sunsets to glassy morning surfing on your door step. The bungalow has a nice sized outside decking area which has good shade and views out across the beach and sea, inside is simple but clean and everything works (air con is good). The road behind has one of the better super-markets in the area and a few good bar and restaurants about 5mins walk towards main road. The surfing is amazing on a unspoiled beach (because Costa Rica's great environmental laws), I was there for a few weeks in winter and the waves where a constant 3-6ft with a few crazy days mixed in, but with so much other cool stuff to do in the area and all the amazing wildlife to see I would recommend Supervista to anybody and everybody!

You can't beat the view from these bungalows, walking up here was just incredible. My boyfriend and I stayed here for two weeks and loved every second of it. They organized a bbq for us and we grilled tuna which we had caught that day! Sunsets are breathtakingly beautiful.
