This newer 2800 sq. ft., immaculate 5 bedroom vacation home located on 3/4 of an acre comfortably sleeps 12-14 people or 2-3 families. Cable and High Speed Internet. The kitchen seats 12 for large dinner gatherings and is equipped with all your cooking needs including a griddle, George Foreman grill, slow cookers and blender. No amenity is missing. The five large bedrooms located on 3 levels of the home allow for quiet and privacy for all. A crib is available for your use if needed. There is a television in every bedroom as well as the two family room areas. Each level boasts a large bathroom with lots of counter area and spacious showers. The beautiful fireplace in the great room is a perfect place for family gatherings. The outdoor fire pit allows for evening sing songs and making Smores. Enjoy Boyne's newest attraction Zipline Adventure.
Fall colours are pristine in this area. Bike paths throughout the Boyne Resort make for great trail riding especially during the Fall season. Enjoy Fall's reduced golf rates on 2 of Boyne's Courses located on this property.
During winter months ski on Michigan's best downhill runs and enroll your children in the fantastic learn to ski programs. Cross country ski trials literally surround this home. Skidooing, ice fishing, tobagganing and snow shoeing can all be enjoyed just outside this home. This is a winter wonderland getaway that is hard to match.
Ski out from the top of Boyne Mountain from the Kitz Cabin Parking lot located directly behind the Super Bowl Run. The ski down access is just a short block walk/ski or drive from this home. Ziplining is offered all winter long as well.
During summer enjoy the beauty of this secluded home across the street from the Golf Course- Alpine 4th hole but the closeness of all the modern conveniences of being on Boyne Resort property. Bike/Walking/Running trails through Boyne start right in front of this home. . Just a short walk to the chair lift for rides down to the main resort and restaurants during the summer/fall season. Deer Lake is just a 3 minute drive through the golf course to the bottom of the road. This is a warm, sandy bottoms,shallow lake for swimming seadooing, kayaking, canoing, sand play and having cocktails from the Tiki Hut. This beach is perfect for families who have little ones. The popular Beach House Restaurant is located right on the beach. Boaters will love the close proximately of this home to the many lakes in the area. Shopping, wine tours, epicurian restaurant delights, summer festivals and day trips all await you including some favorites-Mackinac Island, Beaver Island, local State Park Beaches, Charlevoix, Petoskey, Boyne City and Traverse City. Excellent property and a wonderful family vacation. Everything was as described and more! This is a beautiful property in a beautiful development. Be warned that you might need four wheel drive if you go in the winter and there's a lot of snow. The hills up to the property can be slick. Even though we had some issues getting to the house during a couple big snows we had a fantastic time and would recommend this property to anyone looking for a great boyne area property.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, sightseeing.

Spent a long weekend during the peak of fall color here with my wife and her family. There were seven of us and the home provided plenty of room for everyone. Everything is as pictured, if not nicer. The home is very secluded, but in a subdivision with easy access via car or bike to many of the Boyne resort amenities. We loved our time there and will definitely return on our next up north retreat.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, families with teenagers, families with young children, sightseeing.

Our family of six has rented this property three summers in a row. It is a beautifully furnished house right on the mountain trail and steps from the golf course. Our family favorites are the free and beautiful beach with kayaks just a few minutes away as well as all the fantastic family fun at the Boyne resort: family game nights, the ski lift, the indoor waterpark.Walloon Lake, Mackinac, Harbor Springs are simple day (or even half day) trips from this great house.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, families with young children, sightseeing.

Rob and Nancy were so very easy to work with. This was a later booking for family visiting from overseas. It was so much fun for the grandparents to spend time with the kiddos and the kiddos to hang with cousins. We are already talking about another visit. We would highly recommend is beautiful home to others looking for a quiet place with lots to do. We had a fabulous long weekend stay in "The Retreat at Boyne". The home was absolutely beautiful and immaculately clean. There was plenty of room for 5 couples to relax and have fun. The home is situated in a beautiful location with easy access to the lifts. Rob and Nancy were fabulous in communicating with during the rental process, and everything was as promised. We can't wait until next winter to rent this house again!Recommended for: Adventure seekers, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway.

Great home with large kitchen area and family room. Great master bedroom and all rooms very nice. Basement is very spacious, great for kids. Owners are extremely responsive and pleasant. Need to drive a 1/3 mile for ski-in/ski-out. Lifts must be open to ski-in/out by Kitz Cabin so check in advance.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, families with young children.

When I decided to rent this property for our Christmas/New Years get-a-way I was a little skeptical of all of the glowing reviews posted on-line for this home. However, after spending three fabulous nights in this incredible home I understand where they were coming from. This home was exactly as advertised (which is saying a lot for this house) and the owners were a dream to work with. Nancy even made a few really good recommendations to make our stay even more enjoyable. The house is immaculate, beautifully decorated and spacious enough to allow you to spread out and get comfortable. Each of the bedrooms is decorated differently to give it its own feel. The rooms are roomy and the beds were all very comforatble. The linens were comfortable and clean. Everything in the house was fresh and nothing was the least bit worn...as you find in many rental properties. The house when you walk in gives you the feeling that the owners are friends who loaned you there own home for a few days. The home is located in a beautiful setting in the woods among rolling hills. It was perfect for a winter adventure and I can only imagine how nice it would be in the summer or fall. The very hilly roads (which you might expect of a property located on a mountain) can be a bit sliperry in new snow, but that was worth it for the location. The house had everything we could have wanted, including TVs in each bedroom, free wifi, appliances (big and small), a gas fireplace that is just gorgeous... The master bedroom and master bath are particularly nice. I can not say enough about how pleased we were with the home, the location and the dealings we had with the owners. Everything worked out perfectly. We absolutely loved our summer escape to your well appointed retreat in the woods! We found everything we needed to organize our visit when we arrived and we enjoyed exploring the nearby towns and beaches. The ammenities at the lodge were great for our family, and our kids enjoyed exploring the outdoors and pathways. We found ourselves planning for visits to the area for many years to come. Hello Rob and Nancy! We wanted to thank you for renting us your beautiful cabin on the mountain. We loved your home and felt so comfortable. We enjoyed the campfires every night without mosquitoes!! The beaches were superb. Our son loved the waterpark and the chair lift ride. We had a great vacation and will definitely return next year. I can't beleive it took this long to discover Michigan. About the owner: Our names are Rob and Nancy and we purchased land in the Reserve on Boyne Mountain in 2006 and decided to build a family vacation rental home in 2008. We have built this home so that families can enjoy a place to come and relax in a serene atmosphere and feel like they have never left home. As Corporate Event Planners it is in our blood to make sure every detail is covered and our renters find our home the ideal location to spend their down time. Our vacation home is equipped with everything you need and more. Whether you travel to our place in summer, winter, spring or fall there is something unique in each season to enjoy about the area and the nature that surrounds you. We decided to build a vacation home on Boyne Mountain because this area lends itself to wonderful family vacations for those who love nature and are outdoor enthusiasts. We love everything that Northern Michigan has to offer. We are Canadian and the commute to Northern Michigan is much easier for those of us living in Southern Ontario than the commute to Northern Ontario...no Toronto traffic to fight through. We built this home knowing that there were many families like us looking for a place to gather with their families. We love the fact that our renters share memories at our vacation home that will stay with them for many years to come.
