This great vacation home offers an extra large, eat-in, fully equipped kitchen on the first floor, as well as a huge indoor hot tub, deck with table and chairs, a full bathroom, and a laundry room with washer and dryer. Also on the first floor is a living room with two sofas (one being a full sofa bed), a love seat, and a console television with DVD player and digital cable. The second floor contains a loft bedroom with full size futon for sleeping and private deck, one bedroom with a full bed and one bedroom that sleeps four with a twin over full bunk bed and single bed, and a full bathroom. Each bedroom has it's own television, one with DVD and one with VCR, both have cable.
This house is located only minutes from Big Boulder and Jack Frost Ski Resorts, Pocono Raceway, whitewater rafting, skirmish (paintball), Hickory State Park, Penn’s Peak, and Historical Jim Thorpe.
It is also located within walking distance from amenities such as 190 acre lake with beach and swimming area, outdoor pool, clubhouse, snack bar, game room, boat rentals, playground, tennis courts, basketball courts, and marina (no motor boats allowed).
The home has a phone for local, collect, or credit card calls only. It is supplied with dishes, cookware, pillows, and blankets. Please bring towels, linens, and paper products. This is a NON-SMOKING home. You must be at least 25 years of age to rent. You will receive 8 passes to use amenities for your entire stay. The home accommodates 8 people. Please do not exceed this number.

Great stay at Lake Towamensing

My family and I just had a very enjoyable stay at this Chalet . It has a very good sized eat in kitchen with large oval center table with plenty of seating and breakfast bar . It has plenty of pots, pans , bowls utencils for all your cooking needs . Also a grill on the deck to grill up some steaks and burgers after a day out . Plenty of seating area in the living room and loft and simple comfortable bedrooms . Having two full bathrooms was also a plus . Thats not to mention relaxing on the decks and porchs or enjoying the hot tub . The community was also very nice , the lake beach was great and the water was very clear . Also very close to big boulder / lake harmony for restaurants and nite life . We would definately recommend this house to anyone looking for a comfortable family vacation or ski trip .
Recommended for:Families with teenagers, romantic getaway, adventure seekers, sightseeing, families with young children.
