Welcome to "Twin Pines"! -A log cabin with a style and distinction all its own. As you make your way over the covered bridge, you'll begin your drive thru our neighborhood of authentic log cabins. As you come to the turn in the tree lined road, you'll arrive at your vacation destination.
With great anticipation you open the front door, and immediately all of the demands of everyday life, melt away. What an open and inviting design! Such luxurious furnishings! What a view!
Go ahead check it all out! Now there are three bedrooms to choose from. We refer to them as the "red room", the "green room", and the Master Suite. The cabin is only a year old and all of the furnishings are brand new.
The "red room" awaits you with a Queen bed done up in plush duvets and lots of pillows. As you can see from the pictures, the colors in this room are warm and inviting. There is a nightstand with an alarm clock, and reading lamp, and also a full dresser to store all of your personal items.
With the double French doors and the colors in the bedding, the "green room" gives the feel of being in the great outdoors. This room also has a Queen bed done up with plush duvets and more pillows. This room comes complete with an armoire, and nightstand, alarm clock, and reading lamp.
Both of these bedrooms share a full bathroom with a shower, tub, and sink. Hair dryers are provided in each bathroom.
On the opposite side of the cabin, you'll find the Master Suite. Decorated in warm, rich colors, this room has a King bed, dresser, nightstand, closet, and its own TV. Open the double French doors and slip into your own personal hot tub. Through the Master bedroom you will find an oversized bathroom with a shower and separate Jacuzzi tub, double sinks and make-up mirror.
After you've settled into a bedroom, you might decide to relax in the family room. If it's cool enough, I'm sure you'll be lighting that fire. All of the wood is complimentary and at the front door. I can almost hear the sound of the crackling fire right now. Did you turn on the flat screen or is that a CD I hear in surround sound?
Maybe it's the other time of year and you are headed out on the back patio to light the grill or, enjoy an iced-tea while playing a game or catching up on some reading. Maybe you're headed over to the swimming pool or children's play area to stretch your legs. Just look to your left and you'll see what I'm talking about. Can you believe what a great location this is!
Speaking of location, there are so many activities to do and great sites to visit and most are just minutes away. In fact, I think you'll be planning your next visit to "Twin Pines" before you leave!

Sherri, I wanted to let you know that we had our annual mother/daughter trip this year and stayed in your cabin. It was even more beautiful than the pictures on your site. We had a wonderful time and can't tell you enough how much we appreciated all the work you put into this cabin with your decorating and such lovely accessories. About seven years ago my husband resigned from his position as Pastor of Lubbock Bible Church in Lubbock, Tx. We built a house in East Texas which we desired would be a refuge for the tired and/or hurting. For the first couple of years, I think we had 2 weekends without company & Spring Breaks with "lots" of kids from Lubbock. When we needed a vacation & wanted to bring the grandkids with us I looked online--The cabin that was advertised wasn't available! but yours was. On the floor tile in our front foyer in Montalba, Tx is engraved the passage from Mark 6 so you can imagine our response when we saw the front of this guest book. Also in our bedroom is the same plaque that you have hung over the Master bedroom door. Is our God good or what? Our only problem with our stay-it just wasn't long enough! Hey Guys, This was such a refreshing place to stay--I especially appreciated the worship CD-It was so peaceful in the mornings on the deck for my devotions. I'm especially thankful because it was so close to Brother Moores Church-Faith Life Church. I really enjoyed the service and encourage anyone reading this to go! They also have healing school-So if you need prayer why not go visit this week. Pastor Matt
