What a wonderful and relaxing time we had at Wild Dunes and I'm pretty certain living in the lap of luxury at this beautiful condo had a quite a bit to do with it! When you walk in and immediately see the ocean and continue to see it from every square foot (except bath and laundry) the blood pressure does drop a few points! Everthing was fabulous; even the magazines were current!

Recommended for:Age 55+, families with young children, sightseeing.

Fabulous Villa!

Our family stayed for a long weekend in this amazing villa and we could not have asked for anything more! Every room offers great amenities, comfort, and stunning views! You can't get closer to the ocean without getting your toes wet! The villa is located on the quiet end of the isle, which we loved. For those who want lots of activity and great restaurants, there are endless options nearby. I would recommend this property to anyone who wants to relax in luxury!

The villa was very nice. We loved the veiws of the ocean. We had great weather the whole week in the high 80's low 90's, and sunny everyday. We done some sight seeing, and we spent alot of time on the beach. We had a really good time. The only downside was none of us had cell phone service in the villa.September is a great time to go the beach it is not as crowded.

3 generations stayed last week in the Ocean Club Villa. Indeed it is a wonderful accomodation! The view and deck so close to the ocean were fabulous. We had never been to Wild Dunes, and I'm thrilled that we picked the one place that is so close to the beach. The main deck of the apt. is in the shade most of the day which was pleasant for a summertime visit. Very nice porch furniture to enjoy the view and the breezes.It's an easy walk under the garage to the boardwalk to the beach or pool. The pool is beautiful. Shade and sun there with nice deck lounges. Very comfortable beds, dining area and great room. Wifi was quick and easy. Views are incredible from every direction. We had scaffolding while they are replacing windows, but the new windows are necessary. They will be redoing the windows in both Ocean Club buildings. There are 6 usable bikes which we made good use of and about 4 good beach chairs. Assorted small umbrellas and a couple of beach toys. There is a high chair and I think a foldable baby bed in the large storage closets. Note that the items that are provided like toilet paper, shampoo etc.. are only starters of those. You will need to bring your own. The only ice maker in the unit is a small one in the freezer of the side-by-side. The manager was very helpful and the descriptions are accurate. Games are in one of the bedrooms. I would definitely recommend this property. It is on the quiet end of the beach, and for us that was great.

Wedding Weekend

The condo was wonderful for three couples. The kitchen was very well stocked and you will never run out of glasses. The view was better than advertised. We chose to drive to Charleston three evenings for dinner. The property manager was so easy to work with and answered all our questions. Three of the bikes were ridable and it was a great way to see the area. We will return and recommend it to others.

Great Stay for a Wild Dunes Wedding

I must say I was blown away when I entered the unit. I got married at the Wild Dunes Resort and thought this would be a perfect place for my family to stay while we were in town for the wedding. It completely met my expectations and was great for entertaining family and friends who were in town from all over the US. The unit was very clean and the photos on line look beautiful ...however in person it is breathtaking. I would definitely rent this property again and stay even longer next time.

I have been vacationing in Charleston for over 10 years and now can finally say I found the most wonderful condo in Wild Dunes! The condo is on the first floor and every window in this home gives you an ocean view! I cannot say I have stayed anywhere that compares to the breath taking view of the ocean from the balconys this condo offers. Besides it's ocean surrounding every part of this home, I found it clean, warm, and modern. To be able sit and watch the waves, listening to the sounds of the ocean as it rolls up the shore below is like no other place! The home sleeps six, and hidden tucked away are bunk beds that could be used for extra sleepin off the master bedroom. The condo is so close to the ocean I do feel when walking throught the home I am on a ship...no need to walk outside to see the water...it is viewed even as you walk through the rooms of this home..If you like golf..you need not carry your clubs more than a hundred feet away..yes a pool too! so If your ready for a truly calm vacation with the excitment of the ocean.... 1104 Ocean Club in Wild Dunes gets an A+

Jim and I have been staying at Wild Dunes Ocean Club since 1986. We always wanted to rent 1104...and we only come in February and March...but it was never available. Last year, we were successful and could not believe the beautiful views no matter where we were in the condo. The furnishings are very comfortable and each bedroom has its own unique "appeal". We especially enjoyed being able to see the ocean even while we were cooking! We did have a few maintenance issues, but they were handled promptly. The housekeeping service was wonderful and the people were most curteous and trustworthy. Of course, we have rented the unit for 2009 and may celebrate our 50th anniversary there in 2010! One note, since we have been guests at Ocean Club for many years, we were saddened by the erosion and had sand bags right up to the building last year. Now, to see the beautiful sand beach restored is a real blessing!!

Great set-up. Beautifully furnished with plenty of room for a party of 6. Dining area and kitchen super for group meals altho outstanding restaurant options exist on Sullivan's Island and Charleston. Ideal for beach lovers, golfers or just plain relaxing. Have rented 3 times and will be doing more. Bob & Ginny Herrick

My family and I have been coming to Wild Dunes for over 20 years and have stayed in many Ocean Club condos. All the condos are great but 1104 is by far and away the best rental available. (the bunk beds are a little creepy) The views are spectacular and the furnishings are top of the line. We have loved every minute of all our stays in this condo...glad the sand bags are gone!

The condo was everything you said it was and more! The level of finish was unbelievable for a rental property; the cherry bedroom, all the marble. I have never seen a unit where ALL bedrooms had an ocean view and balcony, the corner location was idea. It was the closest of any of the buildings to the beach which was great for our father.

This is truly a spectacular condo at Wild Dunes. It was the best place we have ever rented in both the decor and the stunning ocean views. I don't think you could possibly be disappointed when you rent this unit. Also, the owners are a pleasure to do business with.

We have NEVER known a person that has come into this Villa and not thought it to be the FINEST place they have ever seen. It is not a bad layout and the furniture is top of the line, but to be honest, it is Mother Nature that deserves all the credit. There is an ocean front view that goes 220 degrees!! It is simply amazing. We take tremendous pride in the fact that it is the BEST of the best. We sincerely believe that another one on the reasons is the care our guests give it. It is as if they are on 'holy' ground. If you are a guest-to-be, please remember that we have the absolute highest cleanliness standards. The owner of our housekeeping service is Sherrie. Find just a spec of dust, and we want you to call her that very moment, night or day: 843-860-3605(C),843-886-6387(O) & 843-886-6343(H). Repairs needed, call Resort Maintenance 843-881-1044. If you are a guest-has-been, let us know how prefection can be improved on. Put down suggestions for the guests that will be following you like where to eat, shop, visit that sort of thing. Life is good.
