Great Condo - Terrific Host

Three friends and I took a week long girls' trip to Jaco and stayed at this oceanfront condo. The condo was as described and pictured. It has 3 porches, one large enough for a table and chairs where we ate some meals. From that porch we had a great view of the very wide and flat beach, ocean waves, surfers, palm trees, people on horseback, colorful birds, sunsets, and the complex's sparkling clean pools. An open air restaurant and bar next door has reasonably priced food and the town of Jaco is a $2 taxi away. Unit K-1 backs up to the restaurant and bar. Only one night -- the last night of school break -- did we did hear music after going to bed. We met several friendly people from the U.S. and Canada and shared tips and stories of our adventures. Condo owner, Bob Johnson, was amazing! He made arrangements for us a ride from the San Jose airport to the condo, personally drove us around town pointing out good restaurants and other sites of interest, arranged for an excellent driver (Mauricio) for two-days so we could sightsee around the area, and checked with us regularly to be sure we were having a good time and didn't need anything. If you stay here, ask Bob how to contact Susan who gave the best deep tissue massage I’ve ever had at the condo. I've stayed in VRBO properties several times in the past and have never known any condo/home owner to be as friendly and welcoming. Thank you, Bob, for a wonderful relaxing vacation. Almost a week after my return I'm still basking in the glow of our vacation.
Recommended for:Sightseeing, tourists without a car, age 55+, girls getaway.

This property is very convenient to town and feels super safe. The views are just amazing! Being shown around and given recommendations on restaurants really helped out. The assistance with finding and booking excursions was very helpful as well. The hospitality was fantastic. We would definitely visit again. Thanks so much!
