You could really get used to this resort-style living: You enjoy a leisurely breakfast on the fully-screened patio overlooking a citrus orchard. You snag a luscious grapefruit to finish off your meal before heading off for a round of golf at one of seven nearby golf courses. After a satisfying 18 holes, you drop by the Johnson Rec Center for a dip in the sparkling pool. Totally relaxed, during the four-minute drive back to your resort home-away-from-home you make a mental note to take advantage of every opportunity you discovered there: tennis, pickleball, bowling, billiards, bocce ball, shuffleboard, miniature golf, and even a walking track that’s lit at night. This vacation in paradise isn’t going to be nearly long enough!
Your tastefully appointed resort home is situated in a quiet neighborhood in Sun City West, near professional sports attractions including MLB’s Spring Training, just 25 minutes from the first-class shopping, dining and cultural attractions in Scottsdale and Central Phoenix while convenient to local businesses, churches and a nationally ranked hospital.
You’ll enjoy entertaining guests indoors and outdoors here, with a formal dining room, a large living room furnished with a sofa and overstuffed easy chairs and an armoire concealing a TV with DVD player. The patio is equipped with a propane barbecue grill, a patio table and chairs, and a wicker seating group inviting your guests to enjoy a glass of wine and some casual conversation.
Your kitchen, should you choose to cook while on vacation, is equipped with everything you’ll need, including microwave, dishwasher, dual-pot coffee maker, toaster, blender, etc. All dinnerware, glassware, cooking utensils, basic spices, linens, laundry detergent, iron, ironing board, and cleaning supplies are provided. There’s even a small kitchen eating area which looks out onto the patio and the fruit trees beyond. Adjacent to the kitchen you’ll find a huge laundry/utility room, equipped with a washer, a dryer, a work counter running the entire length of the room, and even a built-in ironing board.
The large master bedroom is beautifully furnished with a queen-size bed, two night stands, a large dresser with mirror, and a chest of drawers, as well as a radio/alarm clock and a second TV. You’ll enjoy sipping your coffee while seated at the mosaic tile bistro table watching the quail, rabbits and doves under the citrus trees in the rear yard. The master bath features a large walk-in shower, with a separate vanity area outside the large walk-in closet.
The guest bedroom, with a large window facing out to the street, is furnished with two twin beds, each with a nightstand, and a chest of drawers. Your guests will also enjoy a large walk-in closet. The guest bath is off the adjacent hallway.
Sun City West is an active adult community; one guest must be 55 or older. While you’re here, you can participate in all Sun City West activities - discount golf, clubs, crafts and hobbies - with the purchase of an activity card. Sorry, no smoking, no pets. |
