Are you looking for a family getaway? Come enjoy our home away from home in beautiful Gulf Shores, AL. Our unit is a peaceful retreat after a day of swimming, shopping or sightseeing. Enjoy your evening dining in one of our many restaurants, or take in a movie at Gulf Shores new movie theater. Our unit is only 5 minutes from WalMart and 15 minutes to the Tanger Outlet Shopping Mall.
The unit sleeps 6 and has two bedrooms and 2 full baths. The master bedroom has a queen size bed with cable television and a private bath. The second bedroom has two twin beds, with a TV/DVD player and 2 more can sleep on the pull-out sofa/bed in the den. This past December we had new carpet installed in the den and bedrooms, new cabinets with marble counter tops in the kitchen and baths, purchased 2 leather sofas, kitchen table, 32" flat screen for the den along with all new bedding/linens.. If you enjoy cooking you will love our fully stocked kitchen where everything in it is also new.
You will love sightseeing, and admiring the direct view of the gulf from our private second floor balcony .There is a table and chairs on the balcony for your early morning coffee or enjoying the afternoon sunset over the gulf water.
This is a smoke-free and pet-free unit.
We have all the comforts of home including free Wireless internet. The only thing that you need to bring while vacationing in our condo are your beach towels and chairs, sunscreen and your personal items.
Las Palmas is located on West Beach Boulevard just one mile from Gulf Shores Public Beach. It's across the street from the Gulf of Mexico and sugar white sandy beaches, to which you have deeded access. Salt water and sand not for you? Enjoy lounging on the deck soaking up the sun or swimming in one of two pools. Picnic tables and charcoal grills are located right outside the fenced in pool area.
For your convenience, there is a coin operated laundry room just three doors down from our unit. Each unit has a two car parking garage under the unit. There is parking for boat/trailer at the east end of the property.
A security deposit of $100 is required to hold your reservation within 10 days of booking. If no damage is incurred, this deposit will be returned within 10 days of check-out. In addition to rental fees, a one time cleaning fee of $80, and an 11% lodging tax is collected. The rental payment, lodging tax and cleaning fee are due fourrteen (14) days prior to arrival.
**NOTE - We require a 3 night minimum stay. Credit Card payments can be received through PayPal for a 3% fee.**

The pictures don't do the condo justice! Super nice and tastefully decorated! (It was also great to have 3 tvs- one for each kid if there was an 'issue' and one for the grown ups so we didn't have to suffer through another episode of Sponge Bob!) Out the front door we could see the pool, out the living room balcony the ocean! We spent time each day at the pool and the ocean- wonderful to have the choice! Close to everywhere we needed to go and felt right at home! Shannon was wonderful to work with! We will DEFINITELY be back!

Me, my Wife and two kids (6 & 2), stayed at this condo for a week in July and absolutely loved it. The proximity to the beach was great, the view of the beach was awesome, and the beach itself was amazing!! The condo itself was more than we expected, and the two pools were a nice bonus. We can't wait to come back!!

This was our 3rd time staying in the Oates condo.If you are looking for a good deal but don't want to pay the high prices to stay directly on the beach this condo is perfect. Even though you are across the road from the beach you still have a great beach view.The condo was clean when we arrived as always. The kitchen has everything that you could possibly need and more. The condo is nicely decorated and has been updated each time we have stayed. The beds are comfortable. The condo is close to Pier 33 which is a small grocery store with beach items. Shannon is very quick to respond to emails and very easy to deal with.

We came down for the Hangout Music Festival and could not have been happier with this condo. The unit has great kitchen amenities, comfy beds, clean from top to bottom, and an easy walk to the T and across to the beach. The owners were very prompt at returning my emails regarding the rental. You will enjoy it!

Went down to the condo on Fall Break with the kids and it was a great experience. It is exactly as described clean and in a great location. The complex was quiet, family oriented and the pools were very clean. Chuck and Shannon were great and we couldn't have asked for a better rental experience. We will definetly be coming back! Renting this condo was a great experience! The owners (Chuck and Shannon) were so helpful and nice. The listing very accurately describes the location and the photos accuractely reflect the condo's appearance and amenities. The condo was extremely clean, bright, and cheerful and provided plenty of towels, toilet paper, etc. The kitchen was also well-equippped. The whole complex was very neat and well-maintained and the pools are very nice. The location is very convenient to everything and the beach is an easy walk across the road. The beaches were as beautiful as ever with no signs (or smells) of oil! I definitely plan on renting this condo again and will highly recommend it to friends and relatives.

This was one of the nicest vacations ever for me and family. The owners were so wonderful. The condo was fully stocked with every thing that we needed. Even down to the silverware. The two pools were great for my 3 boys. We loved the fact that the beach was just across the street from the condo. The restaurants around are great and in walking distance for those nights when you don't want to cook. The condo was very neat and well kept. We absolutely loved our stay there and are already making plans to go back before the summer is over. Thanks Shannon!
