Cottage And Your Very Private Beach - Waterfront Vacation Home In Lexington Area You are sure to enjoy this very unique vacation setting! The isolated property and unassigned adjoining lands form a scenic panorama of your very own personal "Bordeaux Bay". This bay opens directly into deep/open water providing a superb lake vista and great fishing. Just a few steps down toward the water is your very own, very private, natural sandy beach, found in very few locations at Lake Murray. Come enjoy this very comfortable cottage with great views, great fishing, great swimming, and a large private beach. We have just updated the house in August 2008. Five huge windows yield a fabulous view of your very private beach, the isolated bay, and the lake from the newly painted Family Room and Dining Room, which both have all new furniture. The brand new 40" flat screen HDTV (with 200 Channel DishTV) may distract your attention from the superb view outside. The master bedroom also contains all new furniture. Ceiling fans are in all rooms and on the covered porch. The cottage’s newly stained open deck and covered porch face northeast and your bay, making them perfect for all-day use. Just to the north of the gardens is a separate arbored patio sitting area (pergola). The fisherman's critical boating needs are addressed with your own boat ramp and a large, lighted four-slip floating boat dock. You will experience great fishing right off the property or the dock, or in the abundant nearby coves. Pull back from your dock and you are right in open water - over 60 feet deep only 300 yards off shore. Great for skiing, tubing, and jet skis. Your protected bay provides a great swimming area either out from the beach or off your large floating dock (12+ foot depths)which also has a swimming ladder. The Bordeaux Bay Cottage is located on a nicely wooded, almost one acre lot with 325 ft. waterfront (expanded to 700 ft. by the adjoining peninsula). With its very unique, isolated setting and over 1800 total square feet of living area, Bordeaux Bay will provide you with a very memorable Lake Murray getaway. This very clean property is located on the Lexington (south) side of Lake Murray, northwest of Lexington, just past Climax, SC. There is essentially no traffic, since the property is literally at the “end of the road”.

2-night weekend rates are $340 Oct-Apr and $420 May-Sept.

Thanksgiving, Christmas, and Masters Weeks are at summer rates.
During all holiday weeks we request a 3-night minimum rental.
