Why the Owner Chose Colonia Allende
I have known about San Miguel de Allende since 1975 and always wanted a custom built contemporary home. I found I could afford both in Mexico.
The Unique Benefits at this House
I enjoy living in a beautiful home and experiencing the wonderful warm culture of Mexico and my Mexican neighbors. It is like living in a small town with all the cultural amenities of a much larger city. Great restaurants, shopping, opera, art galleries, and an organic Frarmer's Market.
Luna de Queso Wonderful little deli. Eastern and Asian foods. Organic cheeses and deli sandwiches
Long Horn Smoke House Steaks, brisket, sausage and burgers. Only place to get a baked potato
Owner's Map of Colonia Allende
I retired from a career as a dentist and a business managment consultant in 2007. After running 38 Marathons I decided it was time to take it easy in Mexico

Mountain views from the living room and balcony will have you relaxed upon entering the front door. Every detail of this house was thought through with exquisite taste. Bob the home owner was amazing and made sure my stay was comfortable and was ready to provide local knowledge of the best places to eat and visit during my stay. I'm so thankful that my first stay in San Miguel was here and am so grateful for Bob's wonderful hospitality. Between the amazing weather, the welcoming people and the amazing house, it will be a trip I always look back at fondly.
