Welcome to your own little piece of South Maui paradise in our cool and comfortable vacation home. Since we purchased it in 2005 we have lovingly remodeled and redecorated to make it feel like home away from home! We try to get over at least twice a year. According to our guest books in the condo, ours seems to be a gathering spot for friends and family staying in other units! We hope you will be one of our repeat guests!
Our ground floor condo boasts an over sized lanai with large potted plants to provide privacy while you enjoy your morning coffee or the evening sunset outside. Inside, you will find everything you can possibly want to make your stay comfortable. The kitchen was completely remodeled in 2008 and has upgraded new appliances, cabinetry and countertops, and a full-size refrigerator with freezer. The kitchen is fully stocked with dishes, cups, glasses, silverware, cookware, toaster, coffee-maker, grinder, a blender – you name it! Kick back in the living room to watch television on our new 32" flat screen TV, a movie on the DVD player or listen to your CD’s on the stereo; or select a book from the case for your reading enjoyment. Of course, if you just can’t live without your laptop we have complimentary internet (wireless or modem) access for you as well! We have a queen bed in the bedroom with new mattress, reupholstered queen sleeper sofa in the living room and an upgraded vanity in the nicely decorated bathroom. If you open the slider and the bedroom window a glorious breeze flows through the condo, keeping it nice and cool, so you don’t even need to turn on the A/C. Brand new Hunter ceiling fans assist when the trades aren’t blowing.
But of course, the real reason you’re in Maui isn’t for the lodging – it’s for the BEACH! And the best beach in Kihei, Kamaole One/Charley Young Beach, is just a 2-minute walk across the street from your lanai! You are welcome to use our boogie boards, beach chairs, umbrellas, towels, mats, toys and floaties located in the hall closets. We just ask that you shake off the sand before you put them away :-) After a day at the beach, laundry is taken care of because we have a washer and dryer as well. All the comforts of home!
The Maui Vista resort has 3 swimming pools (one located just 50 yards from your lanai), 3 tennis courts and top of the line gas BBQ’s to enjoy too. We enjoy using the grills quite often, and they are within a short distance from the front door. Many fine restaurants and markets are within walking distance. The condo is located just 3 miles from Wailea, host to 5 championship golf courses and many shops. You’re never far from anything when you stay in Kihei! Maui No Ka Oi!

Why the Owner Chose Maui Vista
Kihei is such a friendly town and we like that it doesn't have high rise hotels and resorts, and it by far has the best beaches! One of which is directly across the street from the condo (Charley Young Beach, which connects to Kamaole One.) You can literally walk all the way to Wailea on the beach from Charley Young Beach! That is our daily walk, with the occasional stop to snorkel along the way. The Maui Vista is only 3 miles from Wailea and world class golf courses, and within walking distance of so many restaurants, shops and beaches. When our children visit, not yet old enough to rent cars, they can walk to everything.
The Unique Benefits at this Condominium
Being on the ground floor is a plus in our opinion; larger lanai, ease of access, no stairs or elevators to contend with when carting in groceries. Having the larger lanai enables us to have a patio table with 4 chairs and still have room to move around. The lanai's on the upper floors can only fit a table for two. We like to spread out and having the lawn just beyond our lanai allows us to do that. We are in building one, directly across from the beach. The Maui Vista has a swimming pool, tennis courts and high-end gas BBQ grills at each of the 3 buildings.

We just love Maui! So much so, in fact that we were married in Wailea in 2006. Of all the Hawaiian islands, we feel more at home on Maui. We bought our vacation condo at the Maui Vista in August 2005 and since then have purchased another condo in Kihei which is being rented out full time. That one we hope to retire to in a few years. We live in Sonoma County wine country, 60 miles north of San Francisco, and we both work at a winery. My husband is an executive chef and I'm in marketing. We love both northern California and Maui so we feel we have the best of both worlds!

Aloha guys!! We want you to know that we had the time of our lives in Maui. Your condo is the BEST!! Kihei is a wonderful place and the beaches were amazing and so so much fun. Love the décor in your place. It was so relaxing and we just loved every moment we were there. Thank you for the aloha. Loved the convenience of Charley Young Beach SO CLOSE - NICE mmmm I have to commend you both on all the work you have done.. The upgrades you made have been very much appreciated. The washer and dryer were a huge bonus...The building is in good condition, the grounds were neatly kept, the pools fine, tennis courts and the BBQ pits were very well maintained/cleaned and very convenient. This is a large complex but I think overall it is well maintained. Again, hats off to you both for the work and vision you have of your little island getaway. The touches you have added to make it a warm and cosy home to go to, because that is what it becomes when you visit for any length of time.. It's NOT a hotel it IS a home. and thank you for sharing it with us."
