The vacation home is an open floor plan with a large living room and dining room that open to a large kitchen. Also included on the first floor is stone fireplace in den, children's playroom fully equipped with games, videos and fooze ball. There is also a full bath and washer & dryer.
On the second floor you will find three bedrooms. The master has a brand new king size bed and a private master bath. The additional two bedrooms have new queen size beds and share the third bathroom.
Enjoy a fully furnished enclosed lanai that opens up to a large patio with umbrella table and chairs and gas grill.
Picturesque beach is walking distance from the home. Beach towels and chairs are available for your convenience.
There are many things to do and see in Southeastern Connecticut. We have two fabulous resort/casinos nearby. Mohegan Sun, the 2nd largest resort/casino in the world is only a 15 minute drive and Foxwoods/MGM the largest in the world is only 30 minutes away. Mystic, a quaint little village that holds Mystic Seaport & Museum, Mystic Aquarium, Olde Mystic Village (great shopping) and some wonderful restaurants is only 15 minutes away. If you want to visit our US Navy Submarine Museum, that's only 15 minutes away as well.
Choose to make New London your stay and Boston is just 2 hours North and New York City is only 2 1/2 hours to your south (save yourself some drive time and catch a train to either location right in the heart of downtown New London....a great way to see the countryside). Or catch a ferry to Block Island or Orient Point Long Island for the day.

You can't beat the location, with the deepest port in the eastern seaboard, you see every kind of water vessel there is. From ferries that can take you to Block Island and Long Island, to cruise ships and the majestic Coast Guard, Barque Eagle.
Plus, right in town you can catch and train to Boston & New York City and be home in time to watch the evening news. Then wake up to the fog horns as they call to the boats passing by our beach. WOW!

Dan & I have always loved New England...the only thing we were missing was living by the Ocean. We moved to New London and immediately fell in the love with the area and the people. We built an ice cream/sweet shoppe downtown on Bank Street (Daniel's Dairy) and thought we had it all. Then we bought Patch (our first Shih tzu) and then a girlfriend for him, Pumpkin. Now our family is complete and they love ice cream as much as we do!
