We recently completed a 10 day stay at this property. The place is simply outstanding in every way. Excellent service form the property owners. A beautiful setting on the shores of Lake Herman. The cabin was modern and comfortable and all of the amenities were as described in the listing. The people were very pleasant and provided us with everything we needed as well. This would be an excellent summer vacation destination or simply a fantastic and relaxing break from everyday life. Cannot recommend it highly enough! Thanks for a great time!Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, sightseeing.

I have been hesitant to write a review because we don't really want a lot of people to know about this place!! We have stayed here three times now, and my in-laws have also rented it out. It is wonderful for kids; the property has a lot of yard space for play, and it backs right up to it's own beach and dock. They are well-stocked with toys, movies, and video games. The lake is not busy, and the location is really private and peaceful. The owners are very helpful and accessible. Would recommend to anyone looking for a great getaway!Recommended for: Age 55+, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway.

Truly the best vacation I've had with my wife and daugther. Our best friends joined us and we just had the best time. The accomodations were great and felt as if we lived on the lake.Recommended for: Romantic getaway, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway.

Great spot for a large group or family! Sleeping arrangements were great and well thought out! Wonderful beds and bedding! Plenty of room for 12-14 adults. Cooking is a challenge but we did it! No cook top or oven in the "mini kitchenett"...so think ahead and you too can do it! Large BBQ grill and electric appliances were available and we made good use of those. The hosts were very helpful but not intrusive...we felt like we had the place to ourselves! Ask for the full tour and list of where things are when you first get there...there are important things hidden all over! The lakeside is set up nicely for lounging, a picnic, paddle boat rides, and the fire pit was a fun activity after dark. We highly recommend this property.Recommended for: Age 55+, tourists without a car, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, sightseeing.

This is a terrific lake property--well-kept and kid friendly. The hosts were most helpful and made every effort to see that we'd have a great experience. Fishing from the dock resulted in lots of fish. Paddleboats were fun. Pontoon boat is available for a fee. Home is fully stocked with games and kitchen necessities. We would recommend this property to families, young adults and mature adults.Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway.
