Perfectly suited to families, our home has a master bedroom with queen, second bedroom with a double and third bedroom with two twins. Enjoy home cooked meals from our kitchen, or use our outdoor gas grill and enjoy your meal on our backyard deck.
Beautiful fenced backyard for the children to play in while you relax and watch them from the deck. 2 parks are also only minutes away. The home 1500 square ft with a private entrance and a full-size in-suite washer/dryer. The home is set up to provide a home-away-from-home and comes equipped with a a portable BBQ (in addition to a full kitchen). We have furnish the home in a way that would appeal much more to children than a hotel room. We can also provide lots of tips on what to do in and around Vancouver...especially with children. All amenities are close by on West Broadway which is only a 5 min walk where you will find great restaurants, movie theatre, cafe, pool hall, bakeries, grocers.
The location is 20 mins from the Vancouver International Airport, 2 hours by car from Whistler, and 30 mins from the North Shore Mountains. UBC is the site of the Nitobe Gardens, The Museum of Anthropology, and Pacific Spirit Park with 2000 acres of walking and biking trails. There are several private/public courses in the neighborhood.
Just a 10 minute drive and you're at the beach; enjoy swimming, SAILING/KAYAKING, THE PLANETARIUM, GRANVILLE ISLAND AND KITSILANO BOUTIQUES AND RESTAURANTS. Walk in the UNIVERSITY ENDOWMENT LANDS and then visit the MUSEUM OF ANTHROPOLOGY OR THE BOTANICAL AND JAPANESE GARDENS AT THE UNIVERSITY OF BRITISH COLUMBIA. All of these are just 10-15 minutes away by car.
DOWNTOWN VANCOUVER is a fifteen minute drive from our home. Take in the sights and activities there, including SCIENCE WORLD, STANLEY PARK—MINIATURE RAILWAY AND AQUARIUM, swimming at the AQUATIC CENTRE, shopping on ROBSON STREET and dining at our world famous restaurants.
