About the owner: We are newly retired Innkeepers from the 'Great State of Maine' We have always lived coastally and do so appreciate 'Island' living on Sanibel. We have been vacationing on the island since the early '90's ..so it just seemed right to purchase a vacation home for ourselves here in 'paradise'.
Why the Owner Chose Private Homes:
Choosing this house was a 'no brainer' when we realized how close it was to the beach and the marina and 'everything' we love on island. Some of our favorite restaurants...nearby...Lazy Flamingo ..great caeser salad, Gramma Dot's ....coconut shrimp yumm, and the 'Jac'c 'happy hour menu' Fun Fun Fun. There is no other spot in Florida we'd rather be than on Sanibel Island. Fostering a love of this island is so easy, our grown children and their spouses and their inlaws and on and on.....we spread the 'joy'
The Unique Benefits at this House:
It's wonderful to have the large screened pool with the cascading waterfall, your sure to enjoy taking a refreshing dip after the beach or laps first thing in the AM. Love it. Also we enjoy the 'treehouse' ambiance of 2nd floor living. Along with lively 'Island' colors on the interior, we've recently added a 'whimsical' mural on the downstairs patio wall around the pool. Such fun!! Biking on island is the best way to travel and it's good exercise, we have 2 bikes available for guests and Billy's rentals is just up the street. Lastly and probably an 'island' favorite is Noah's second hand shop at Saint Michael's Episcopal Church.....everyone goes atleast once while on island. You meet people from all over the world shopping there !!
