Old world charm in the heart of Paris!
Come and stay in our gorgeous, sunny and quiet 2-bedroom apartment on the top floor of a classic old Paris building, just yards from the fabulous rue Mouffetard street market in Paris’ wonderful 5th arrondissement.
The apartment has all the typical Paris features you could dream of: hardwood floors, molded ceilings, marble fireplaces, full-length windows and small balconies at every window. Because it is at the top, it is incredibly bright and sunny on both sides, with open aspects to the back, a through breeze on hot days, and no neighbors walking about above your head! And yes, there is a lift to whizz you up there.
It has been fully remodeled by a wonderful architect, who preserved all the old features, added some fabulous touches of his own, and installed a level of comfort rarely found in Paris rental properties. The spacious sitting room gets the morning sun, while the kitchen is a joy, with all that you need to produce gourmet meals. The apartment comes fully-equipped: dishwasher, washing machine, tumble dryer, ceiling fans, and power shower. Phone calls to US and most European landlines are free, and there is a PC with broadband internet access (or wi-fi access if you want to bring your own laptop).
The apartment is on a quiet street, but right in the middle of a bustling neighborhood with an abundance of cafés and restaurants, shops and cinemas. We are just a stone’s throw from the rue Mouffetard, a classic Parisian street – narrow and cobble-stoned, it is host to a daily fresh produce market. We are also just minutes from the Pantheon, la Sorbonne, Notre Dame, the Seine, the Jardin du Luxembourg and the Jardin des Plantes.
This is our home too. Until recently it was our full-time family home, and has a lovely warm feel to it – we left it with great reluctance, and return whenever possible. You will be greeted and welcomed by a professional, English speaking hostess who will accommodate your every need while in Paris. Be our guests!

The flat was comfortable, spacious and well appointed. The owner was friendly and helpful as was Yoli who met us at the flat. There were good shops, bars and restaurants near the flat and it was an easy walk to the centre of Paris. The public transport connections were good. The botanic and the Luxembourg Gardens are very close by. We really enjoyed our stay.Recommended for: Age 55+, tourists without a car, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

Our family of 4 stayed in this lovely flat in early July 2012 and had a phenomenal time. The apartment is roomy and spacious, amenities lovely and the location perfect for walking your way around Paris. Yoli greeted us with cheerful graciousness and we felt both at home and well taken care of. Excellent apartment, clean and well maintained, very well equipped kitchen. Very close to Rue Mouffetard market and metro and bus stops. This apartment was all I expected and more. Two of us stayed for 10 days and thoroughly enjoyed coming home to this cozy "home" with all the amenities anyone could want. The location is great--near a great market and public transportation. The pictures accurately reflect the property which is clean and very well maintained. Clarissa has provided anything a person could want while on vacation, and Yoli was most helpful. I hope to return to this apartment one day.Recommended for: Age 55+, tourists without a car, girls getaway, sightseeing.

We absolutely loved the stylish but homely feel to this appartment that helped to give us a sense of really living in Paris rather than just passing through. Very comfortable stay in this apartment which is well placed in the Mouffetard area and close to metro station. Nice quiet area. A few issues with inhouse apartment information and communication on arrival but have communicated with owner and these are being addressed.Recommended for: Age 55+, tourists without a car.

Perfect! Perfect location, apartment, and hosts. The photos don't do this justice. We loved this apartment so much we didn't want to leave.The owner provides all the information you require from how to get there, how to get around and what to when you there! This is a great apartment to rent in Paris. You have views from the 7th floor windows and a great location with two nearby metro stops. You're near the Rue Mouffetard market area. The beds are comfortable and the place is very roomy for a couple and can handle a child or two. You have a nice bath and a good kitchen with refridge, cooktop/oven, dishwasher, coffee/tea pots and the all the things you need to cook great meals for yourself. I really can’t add much to what all of the other reviews have already stated. We found exactly what we expected and wanted: nice, clean, spacious, well located, (a short walk to the metro, one block from Rue Mouffetard food market area, restaurants, cafes, etc); charm, confortable, (equipped kitchen and bathroom, washer & dryer, computer with internet, long distance, elevator in the building), very good maintenance, quiet…. and the feeling of receiving quality in every detail, from the moment of first contact up to the farewell. Ample enough for 4 people, with two bendrooms. Clarisse, (the owner), an Yoli, (who manages the unit), both friendly and helpful, always available for our needs, and giving quick and efficient responses. They also left a nice gift basket and we were greeted on our arrival (chocolates, wine,tipical cookies, …) I firmly recommend staying at Clarissa's apartment! About the owner: Our family lived in this fabulous apartment for 20 years, first as tenants and then as owners. We absolutely love it, and especially the friendly and bustling neighborhood - everything is within minutes of the front door. We left Paris for family reasons, but all our family and friends insisted we hold on to the flat as the 'perfect Paris apartment'!!
