This is a great apartment to rent in Paris. You have views from the 7th floor windows and a great location with two nearby metro stops. You're near the Rue Mouffetard market area. The beds are comfortable and the place is very roomy for a couple and can handle a child or two. You have a nice bath and a good kitchen with refridge, cooktop/oven, dishwasher, coffee/tea pots and the all the things you need to cook great meals for yourself. We very much enjoyed our stay here and recommend it to others.

I really can’t add much to what all of the other reviews have already stated. We found exactly what we expected and wanted: nice, clean, spacious, well located, (a short walk to the metro, one block from Rue Mouffetard food market area, restaurants, cafes, etc); charm, confortable, (equipped kitchen and bathroom, washer & dryer, computer with internet, long distance, elevator in the building), very good maintenance, quiet…. and the feeling of receiving quality in every detail, from the moment of first contact up to the farewell. Ample enough for 4 people, with two bendrooms. Clarisse, (the owner), an Yoli, (who manages the unit), both friendly and helpful, always available for our needs, and giving quick and efficient responses. They also left a nice gift basket and we were greeted on our arrival (chocolates, wine, tipical cookies, …) I firmly recommend staying at Clarissa's apartment! Wonderful Gerardo F., Mendoza, Argentina

We especially appreciated having two bedrooms, windows which when closed made the place cozy and quiet, and a location from which it was pleasant to go for either long or short walks. There were some maintenance issues, but these were minor, and the contact person, Yoli, was friendly, accessible and helpful. We are an older couple and this was our first stay in Paris, and we feel grateful that we chose such an agreeable place for a reasonable price.

My husband, three grown sons, and I stayed in this beautiful apartment for a week. We loved the architectural character, the neighborhood, the French windows, the proximity to the market and Metro. It was the perfect place from which to explore Paris. The only drawback was that it was so very hard to leave! We hope to return one day. Thank you!

I stayed for a week with my wife, 15-month-old son, and mother and loved it. The apartment was perfect - spacious, well-equipped kitchen and bathroom, a library with many helpful travel books, central location, and many conveniences (washer & dryer, computer with internet, long distance, crib, elevator in the building, etc.). The price was also unbeatable when compared to the cost of two hotel rooms. The owner also left a nice gift basket and we were greeted on our arrival by her representative, Yoli, who was very friendly and helpful. We've already recommended the place to family and friends and hope to return one day!

I can't say enough how pleased I was with the apartment! I was in Paris for a week on business and wow, Clarissa's apartment was WAY better than any hotel I would have stayed at. There was ample space, it was very comfortable, and it felt like home. The location was great and I actually ran to the Eiffel tower from there so it wasn't real far away. The METRO subway is super easy to use and I used it everywhere I went. Yoli was so very wonderful and it was nice that she greeted me when I arrived and showed me around the apartment. The area is super safe as well and the street was very quiet at night so I slept very soundly. But if one wants to see some of the nightlife, there are plenty of bars and pubs nearby on Mouffetard that you can hang out at. Mouffetard is just wonderful and I loved the cafes!! If you really want to stay in an area where true Parisians live to get the full Paris experience then I would recommend staying at Clarissa's apartment! It was truly wonderful and I will stay there again when I am back next year!

Wow! What can I add to the glowing descriptions already given. It really is as lovely as it looks in the photos and is a wonderfully comfortable place to come back to. The apartment exudes a sense of peacefulness and one immediately feels 'on holiday' here. Everything is maintained to a high standard and Yoli was terrific at explaining all the details to makeour stay memorable. We had many fine meals around the dinner table courtesy of the farmers' market and the local stores. If you like home made Greek food, there is a small shop that sells all manner of ready made meals for dinner. His stuffed eggplant was divine. In fact, there were so many great stores selling home made food that it was more enjoyable for the four of us to eat in after a day of sightseeing. I would have no hesitation recommending this apartment - we were two couples travelling together and for us it was spacious and exactly as we had hoped - thoroughly Parisian!

This place was so pleasant -- it has a really comfortable, homey feeling, making it easy to relax after a day of sightseeing in Paris. It's a nice roomy apartment. I was there with my wife and two children, and we loved it. When we arrived, there were several pages of instructions (in English) helping us out with lots of things, like how to call a taxi, how to use the washer & dryer, and so on. There were all kinds of nice little extras, such as interesting books on the bookshelf, including a few things like Asterix and Tintin that my children enjoyed; free phone calls; and wifi. We loved having the local market just a block away. Very friendly shops of all kinds -- cheese, meat, wine, restaurants and cafes, etc.

What can you say about an apartment that is as wonderful as its pictures? The living room couch and chairs were exceedingly comfortable, and the rooms were filled with light. Four of us (two couples) stayed there happily for a week. We were two blocks from the wonderful Mouffetard square, with wine and cheese shops, fresh produce stands, boulangeries, very friendly proprietors and music and dancing on Sundays! Yoli, the caretaker was most accommodating, from making key arrangements when we arrived on a late flight from Morocco and arranging a cab for us back to the airport. I cannot say enough good things about the apartment, Yoli, and Clarissa, and we are already plotting our return.

If you’re looking for an apartment that will put you into a welcoming and vibrant Parisian neighborhood, offers convenient bus and subway options, has all the conveniences to make traveling easy, and still feels like a welcoming home… this is it! We had a wonderful stay in August. After a great introduction to the apartment and the neighborhood, we were able to discover Paris on our own. The proximity to Rue Mouffetard, a street that offers any food option you can imagine, is a real plus. Modern conveniences like an elevator in the building and a computer with WIFI available are nice touches. You can even use the phone to make free calls to the US. The apartment feels like you’re staying at a friend’s home. We had two teenagers with us, but younger children would do well too. Highly recommend this apartment!

We stayed in this apartment in June 2010 for a week. It's like living in a little village in the middle of “gay Paree”. The market that flows down the hill to the little square with its fountain is an area that is wonderful to experience and a great base to discover Paris from. We found the underground rail the best way to get around. As this was our third visit to Paris we had experienced most of the street scenes so the underground got you to where you wanted to go in a minimum amount of time. If you want to see the streets of Paris then take the bus. The restaurants and shops in the area are also a great experience. The apartment itself was very comfortable. We shared it with another couple we were traveling with and we had plenty of room. I thoroughly recommend this apartment and will do my best to get back there once more, one day.

We stayed in Clarissa's wonderful apartment in rue Brocca and just felt so at home here in Paris! Yoli met us on arrival and answered all our questions and gave us some inside Paris information eg restaurants ,markets transport etc. We would pop down the street to the bakery and Mouffetard market every morning for our supplies . The Bus and Metro were so convenient making it a breeze to get around Paris. Aftrer a busy day exploring Paris it was always a treat to return to our apartment and relax and talk about the days highlights. We come to Paris every second year from Australia and are looking forward to our next trip to rue Brocca.

I really cannot add much to what all of the other glowing reviews have already stated. It was exactly what we wanted. A nice, cozy Parisian apartment to call home for the week. We were travelling with our 10 month old daughter and didn't want to stay in a tiny, over priced hotel room. The logistics of traveling with an infant can be a nightmare, but Clarissa's apartment made everything, dare I say, EASY! The baby had her own bedroom. We put her to bed at 7pm and then we had adult time without having to tiptoe around in the dark whispering! Fixing dinner every night in the fabulous kitchen with what we bought at the market right around the corner and drinking our fabulous French wines was just what we wanted from this excursion to Paris. The apartment itself is fabulous. Cozy and quaint. Ample room for the 3 of us. The location is fabulous. A short walk to the metro and, if you are used to walking, not a bad walk to many great sites. Overall, we would certainly hope to find Clarissa's apartment available for our next trip and would not hesitate to reccommend it to our friends and family who travel to Paris. Wonderful!!

We stayed at Clarissa's wonderful Paris apartment for a week in Sept/Oct. I really wanted to stay in an apartment as opposed to a hotel, but having not done that before I was a little apprehensive. Clarissa is a wonderful host and answered all my emails promtly and with friendliness and very helpful. The apartment was wonderful, so warm, comfortable and everything as promised, it felt like a home. We shared it with our friends, another couple, there was plenty of room, kitchen was great, bathroom excellent and a lovely cozy lounge/dining room to relax in and listen to Paris Jazz on the radio. The computer was an added bonus. I loved to step out onto the little balconies overlooking the rooftops and hear the morning sounds of Paris waking up. mmm nostalgia The location was excellent, bus stop outside the door, metro down the road and plenty of Boulangeries to choose from. Lots of restaurants close by, we loved being close to the Luxemborg Gardens, it felt like our local park. We loved the feel of the area and always felt safe. Would I stay here again, yes definitely! and I have recommended it to many friends. Thank you Clarissa for sharing your apartment, I want to come back!

We stayed in this lovely apartment over Christmas week, and enjoyed everything about it. Our special thanks to Yoli for her patience as we arrived two days late -- thanks to a storm that delayed airline travel for us and many others. We made Christmas dinner in the apartment, which turned out beautifully. It was fun shopping the market for all ingredients. There were miscellaneous items in the cupboard that we could (and did) use, but don't count on anything specific (such as regular coffee for the coffee press). We definitely echo the positive comments of previous renters! A great area of Paris, neighborhood feel, many amenities close by, plenty of room for us and our two college-age daughters. We will definitely stay here again on our next trip to Paris!

I am so reluctant to add my comment here because I intend to go back to Paris as soon as I can and I wouldn't want to stay anywhere else and this wonderful apartment might be already reserved. However, in fairness to the owner, I will. We stayed here in late September and were extremely pleased with the decision to stay in the south end of the Latin Quarter. No trinket vendors, no restaurant owners trying to wave us in, no crowds. The apartment is everything the other commenters have said--perfect. One and a half very short blocks away is the St. Medard church and square where we became regulars (for a week anyway) at the Cafe Saint Medard, watched the regular Sunday-morning neighborhood dance, supplied ourselves daily with the gorgeous fruits and pastries from the Mouffetard Market, etc. Yet the rest of the city is minutes away via the Metro. The aparment is just as it is described--it has everything and all in is good working order. I would be happy to respond by email to anyone who has questions. A previous renter who did the same for us and I am most thankful to her. This choice of location was a large part of a wonderful trip.

My 15 year old daughter and I just returned from a week in the apartment (I recommend using the Paris blue airport shuttle to get there, reliable and cheaper than a taxi). It had everything you could ever need - just pack your skivies and go! November was cold, dark and rainy and the apartment was a warm and cosy retreat, and caught every single ray of sunlight that did shine. The neighborhood is safe, the local market vendors were very friendly, the fruit, bread, cheese and deserts beyond compare. Walk to city center was lovely along quiet, cobblestoned Mouffetard. Metro a skip away. Knowing about this apartment is like having a best friend with a Paris flat. SHHH - don't tell anyone about it!

We have just returned from a week staying at this fantastic Paris apartment and we would have absolutely no hesitation in recommending it to anyone looking for accomodation in the City of Lights! The description given by the owner is accurate and are even modest. Upon arrival we were instantly captured by the feel of the apartment - both romantic and comfortable and were thrilled with our choice after looking at almost 200 others and finally finding this gem! This is sooooooooo much better than a cramped, colourless hotel room. There is space galore and the fully equipped kitchen comes in very handy for those nights you decided to stay in and put up your feet and enjoy your goodies you purchase at the local markets in nearby Rue Mouffetard and along Rue Monge! Transport is virtually on the doorstep or a short stroll to nearby Metro station . Cost from CDG airport was around 50 euros ( during early morning traffic). This was better for us than Metro as we wanted door to door until we got our bearings. Metro passes and Museum pass available at airport as is Open Top Bus tour tickets - a good way to see the city on your first day. Try the local organic pattisserie down the street, near the fountain, for to die for breads and cakes and the Fromagerie ( cheese shop) up on Rue Mouffetard for cheeses. Visit the 3rd and 4th Arrondisements for fantastic pates and doner kebabs - in the Jewish streets and a MUST visit is the Isle de St Louis for the best icecream we have ever had - easy to reach from Hotel de Ville Metro station across little bridge and head straight to cafe that overlooks the Seine at the end of the street from the bridge. Take a river cruise and pass all of the beautiful buildings from a different angle and alight at Notre Dame and head up to the markets for some bargains! Catch the 27 bus back from Rue St Michel and you are at the door ( well almost) and drop off your shopping, head back to Rue Mouffetard and enjoy a fabulous fondue or even a pizza!! Please contact me for any other advice about staying at here - I am MOST happy to give further description and help!

Enjoyed my stay so much in Paris, I can't wait to go back! The apartment is clean, cute, and is larger than what is shown in the pictures. I location is fabulous! It is 1 block from DELICIOUS bakeries recommended by Clarissa and previous guests, 2 blocks from Rue Mouffetard, and 1.5- 2 blocks from the metro. Rue Mouffetard opens late (until 1-2 am) for those night owls and is a cool place to hang out. I didn't feel like a tourist living in this area, but was only a 10 min walk from the major tourist attractions (Notre Dame, Pantheon, etc)! I would not hesistate to recommend this place to friends! Yoli, the apartment manager, is very friendly and is easily accessible. LOVED the apartment!!! I can't say enough about it!Thanks again Yoli and Clarissa!

We stayed for a week in this marvelous, totally Parisian two bedroom on the left bank. This flat is everything you dreamed of when you thought of going to Paris. In a day or two you feel like a native rather than a tourist. The bedrooms are comfortable, the dining room is big, the kitchen well equipped, the bath and shower most modern and comfortable. We recommend without reservation. If I can provide any information from the perspective of a first time, very satisfied visitor to Paris, please contact me. Bill Wynhoff.

We feel so fortunate to have found available Clarissa's Latin Quarter home. Convenient, just steps away from the Censier Daubenton metro stop and the shopping heaven, gourmet's delight Rue Mouffetard, it is a perfect Paris address. Sweet Yoli cheerfully greeted us at #10 and brought us up the elevator to the 6th floor. As we entered the flat, we instantly felt at home! The unobscured light that flows from end to end creates a wonderful energy. The colorful geraniums at every window beautifully frame each scene. Every morning, we'd make a quick shopping trip to the Mouffe for fresh fruit and warm bread. The sunshine floods the sitting/dining room, making a pleasant "salle a manger du matin." In the evening, as the sun moves from east to west, we'd return from the day's activities to rest in the cozy plush chairs, the glow of the well lit room, ready to review Clarissa's vast library of helpful reference books and maps, or curl up with an intriguing novel. A few nights, we were treated to a private piano concert as a neighbor softly played (was it Debussy or Satie?). The flat is very nicely appointed with plenty of fresh linens and towels. Hot water on the 6th floor? Mais oui! The flat has it's own water heater! Altho we don't spend much time in the kitchen, it was very well equipped (we'd rather walk down to Cave Bourgogne or take home a roasted chicken and potatoes from the boucherie). The pluses for staying at 10 Rue Broca are far too many to mention here. Please don't hesitate to contact us thru our own VRBO listing 75918(scroll down to "inquire" box, submit as "email" ref Paris home). We'll happily recommend Clarissa's home, definitely 5 out of 5 stars! Sue and Rich LaPlaca
