We stayed for 10 days in November 2011. Great, comfortable apartment with everything you need, including wifi. Close to stores and restaurants, close to the amazing Recoleta Cemetery and its large weekend crafts fair. Even close to a big mall if you like that sort of thing. Max is friendly, welcomes you to the place and gives suggestions, and the apartment has plenty of guidebooks and brochures. Even the building super, a young woman, is friendly and helpful. This was our first time in BsAs, and we would happily return tomorrow and stay a month or two in the apartment. Wonderful city for exploring. Transportation, including taxis, is very reasonable, and so are the endless steak dinner. Only one caveat: If you're not accustomed to city street noise, it may take you awhile to get used to the buses roaring by all night. But that's the city, not the apartment. The windows are actually pretty thick.
Recommended for:Sightseeing, adventure seekers, tourists without a car, girls getaway, age 55+, romantic getaway.

This is a great apartment. The description and photographs on VRBO represent exactly what you will get. It is charming and well-maintained and it is absolutely perfect for a single or a couple (or two or three single people on a short-term basis). I am just finishing up a three-month stay in the apartment and I couldn't be happier. It was an absolutely wonderful experience staying here. The owner is a very nice guy who is also helpful. He greeted me at the apartment upon my arrival and took the time to show me how everything works. Whenever I had the slightest question, I would e-mail him and his responses were almost always immediate. I would highly recommend renting this apartment to friends and family. I'm sorry to be leaving: 1) because Buenos Aires is an amazing city; and 2) because this is a great little apartment. Should I return to Bs.As. in the future (and I hope that I will!), the first thing I will do is check to see if this apartment is available.
Recommended for:Sightseeing, tourists without a car, age 55+.

A quaint New York style apartment centrally located to all the activities in Recoleta. Very safe and clean. It delivered everything as promised. Truly a pleasant experience.
