So close and yet so far from home...this little piece of paradise is only 2 1/2 hours from NYC and Boston!

No matter what season of the year it is, this cute cottage is about as comfortable and quaint as you can get! You will really feel like you have escaped to the country in this home with its' great views of Lake Pontoosuc and the rolling Berkshire hills.

This house is so close to Jiminy Peak Ski Resort, only a 10 minute drive! Jiminy is great for families; from beginners to more advanced, there's something for everyone. This mountain resort has activities and fun for the family in all seasons! There's skiing, mountain bike riding, hiking and lots of summer fun for all! It's also only a short drive to lower Vermont, if you are looking for more of a skiing/boarding challenge. The lake down the hill freezes in the winter and is perfect for ice fishing, snowmobiling (available for rent), cross country skiing or just walking on water! Pittsfield also has a local ski area which offers daily and night tubing which is fun for everyone!

In the summer, Lake Pontussuc has swimming, fishing and boat access as well. Additionally, there are other lakes within the town that offer beach access and park like features. The Mall and movies are right around the corner as well. There are public golf courses nearby and many hiking trails throughout the Berkshire's to explore.

It is perfect for couples and families and can even squeeze in a few extra visitors as well! It is very private and set on a large piece of property down a country road. You will truly enjoy every relaxing moment you spend in this home away from home!

Whether it's the great outdoors that's calling your name, or if the theater is more your style, there is something for everyone in this vacation area. There are fabulous restaurants and wonderful shopping throughout the Berkshire area, and of course the cultural world is prevalent everywhere,especially throughout the summer months, so come out and explore what the BERKS has to offer!
