The M Street Apartment offer exceptional convenience located less than 2 blocks from the Walter E Washington Convention Center, and a 5 minute walk to the city's Metro. Walk to the best Washington has to offer--Smithsonian Museums, the White House, National Monuments, the International Spy Museum, and Logan or Dupont Circle's.
The Apartment is fully furnished with accommodations for up to 4 guests. A typical English basement or Garden level unit common throughout Washington and freshly updated by the current owners, this unit offers a spacious bedroom furnished with a queen sized bed. The large living room features a queen sized sleeper sofa, allowing for extra guests. The Galley style kitchen is fully equipped with a full sized refrigerator, stove/oven, microwave, coffee maker, dishwasher, and all necessary cooking and eating utensils. An updated bath with laundry facilities and access to a small patio complete the living area of the apartment. TV with cable and wireless Internet access are provided at no charge.
All bed and bath linens are provided for your stay. If you are traveling to Washington with a car, reserved off street parking is available for an additional $15 per night. Rates are seasonal, based on the number of guests and the length of stay (weekly and monthly rates are available). We do not charge an additional cleaning fee. Rates do not include Washington DC lodging taxes of 14.5%

This is a perfect place to stay if you are attending a conference at the convention centre. The property is very well maintained, the owners were quite helpful, all the amenities that one could need were there.
Recommended for:Sightseeing, tourists without a car, families with teenagers, families with young children.

I stayed for three nights in Dec 10 and was absolutely satisfied with the accomadations. Spotless, nicely decorated, quiet, and comfortable. My only downside was I didn't get good cell service, but that was my provider not the property. Nice brick patio in the backyard. The hosts were gracious and helpful. I had a conference at a hotel a few blocks away and it was very convenient...especially when I realized that I was going a longer convulated way to walk there when there was a much much more direct route! Very safe neighborhood, I felt comfortable as a single woman walking in the area at night as well. I'll stay there again when I go back to DC. My favorite restaurant was a Brazilian Steakhouse that was a short cab ride away..elegant, about $50 fixed price but worth every penny.

My family and I had a great time in DC staying here. It was close to everything, and convenient for me to go to a medical conference during the morning, sightsee in the afternoon, and quiet enough for our 6 month old to sleep soundly through the night. The guest book for the apartment is full of thank you notes from previous tennants, and I would support their comments as well. If you are looking for something close and convenient to everything, this is it!

Our family stayed in Washington for 3 nights, not long enough, there is so much to see and do. The apartment was in a great location, we walked to many of the attractions, the apartment was also in close proximity to the subway. Which by the way is one of the best rail systems I have ever been on. The owners were very welcoming, gave us great tips on where to eat, and driving directions to get to our next destination. Wonderful apartment, very comfortable.

This was our first visit to Washington, D.C. that lasted more than a few hours. We really wanted to experience the sights and sounds of the city but I find hotel rooms so uncomfortable. My husband and I really enjoy having breakfast in the room and being able to spread out and relax at night. The M Street Apartment was perfect. First off, it was spotless and Jim the host could not have been more accommodating. He provided maps and brochures that enabled us to plan our day without leaving the apartment. He had directions to just about anyplace we wanted to go and if he didn't, he'd find it for us. We were able to walk to most of the places we went and if it was too far to walk we were only two blocks away from the Metro or a cab. I would recommend this cozy home away from home to anyone and if I have the luxery of coming back to D.C. I will definately stay here again.
