The Unique Benefits at this House
Our home is cozy enough for a couple or large enough for friends and family to share. Surrounded by woods on three sides, it gives you the sense of being in a tree house yet has expansive views you can enjoy from both inside the house and outside on the large decks. Enjoy quiet time in front of one of two fireplaces; have an old-fashioned family game night 'round the large oak table (cards, poker chips, as well as time tested board games provided); or watch the sun set while roasting marshmallows outside at the fire ring. Come make some memories!

Our stay at this fabulous mountain home was superb in every way possible. There were 6 adults and one child, and we had more room than we needed. The home was spacious, and having two family areas on separate floors was great for when the little one wanted to watch a movie or play. The bedrooms were each beautifully appointed with comfortable beds and plenty of room. Each of the three bathrooms was spotlessly clean. The home's kitchen boasted every modern convenience we needed to cook big family-style meals that were hearty and filling after a day in the snow. Sitting around the large dining table was fun for the whole family. The fireplaces on both levels made it extra cozy. The location was perfect: just a few minutes from Ski Beech, a few minutes from Sugar Mountain where we had a ton of fun tubing, and close to stores with groceries and necessities. Not too far away were beautiful waterfalls and the Mast General Store, an area institution. We had plenty of snow, and the deer would come up almost to the door, thrilling all of us from the city! We can't wait to start planning our trip back next winter!

"The cabin was amazing!! You have a very beautiful place. Even though the snow was a little insane at times, it was gorgeous. I have never in my life seen snow like that. We can't wait to plan another trip, and I've already told many friends and family about your cabin."

It's our last night here and we are sad to have to leave. We have had a wonderful time staying in your home. Everything is very nice and you have paid such attention to all the little details. We enjoyed eating breakfast outside on the deck, it was great to be outside and not have the humidity we have at home.

"I wanted to email you to share what a beautiful home you have in the mountains. The home met all of our needs and was very functional for the children to play on the bottom floor. We received snow all weekend which was so beautiful, and of course the kids love the sleds at the house. We saw several animals such as a red fox, skunk and several deer. "

"Your home is beautiful. The layout was perfect for our two families. We had a wonderful time on the snow and off. It was a very relaxing weekend even with the kids. My cell phone had no service and I loved that. The two ladies of the house appreciated the great kitchen and the bathroom ammenities."

"Hi Barbi, I just wanted to thank you very much for letting us use your home for our long weekend getaway. Your home is Beautiful! We thoroughly enjoyed it despite the cloudy rainy weather. We did like the snow though. We woke up yesterday morning to a nice white landscape and 20 degree temps and went sledding at the town park. The sun finally poked through as we were leaving the property. We did do some great things Linville Caverns, Mast General Store, Grandfather Mtn, Wooly Worm Fest. We are already planning our next visit and we'll be in touch."
