We spent Thanksgiving 2011 at the cabin and had a GREAT time! Hiked, listened to the wolves and owls, saw wild turkeys and played in the snow! We built a fire in the wood stove on the deck and it was so lovely to sit out and enjoy both the fire and the stars. The cabin was very clean and well equipped, we cooked Thanksgiving dinner with no problem. There is even a large roasting pan. We did bring a couple extra cookie sheets for baking and were glad we had the extra, although there are at least two at the cabin. There is a lot of kitchen cupboard space so you can put things away. We had 14 people and bunked the kids all out in the sun-room on the lower level, which they loved. Because we knew we were over the bed space (beds for 8 adults, in four bedrooms--2 above the main living space and two downstairs), we did take some extra padding to make pallets for the smaller kids and it worked out beautifully. We only had 3 on pallets and did not utilize any sofas for sleeping, only the futon and lounge in the sun-room. The cabin is roomy, never felt crowded, and the dining table is big--extra long and 8 chairs--with lovely views, lots of windows. The kids (seven of them, ages 4 through 12) loved playing on the lower deck and we even set up the basketball hoop! The photos are accurate, this is just the place if you want to feel like you have gotten away from it all without losing all the amenities. Nice blend of rustic and comfort! We all agreed that we will be back. Thanks, Korinne, for sharing your home with us and for being easy to work with regarding arrangements and answering questions.

ABSOLUTELY PERFECT!!! When I tell you that Korrine and Todd thought of EVERYTHING possible to make this a perfect get-away.... I mean they thought of EVERYTHING!!!! After a long summer of fund raising and riding with our Motorcycle club of Marines.... We wanted to get-a-way for a relaxing weekend! We couldn't have built a better place ourselves!! The house was perfect... the decor was fabulous... and the hot-tub was just right! There was plenty of room for all of us. We seen deer on a nightly basis and heard the wolves in the morning! This place met up to all our expectations and that is saying quite a bit since we are talking about a bunch of Marines! We WILL make this our annual get-a-way from this year forward! Thanks for the lovely weekend!

Our daughters softball team had a tournament in the Fort Collins Area June 23-July 4. We rented the cabin and split it between a total of 8 adults. The cabin was everything we expected and more. The bed rooms were large and accommodating the kitchen and decks made great gathering areas . We had the entire team of 16 girls and there parents up for a barbeque. All the girls posted on facebook there pictures and commented how much fun they had on the property. Make sure you get up in the morning and experience the calls of the wolves from the near by preserve. We saw deer, elk, turkeys, fox and the rements of a bear tearing open a tree. Clean well maintained truly a cabin in the woods. Dont forget to stop at Verns at the bottom of the hill for delicious hot cinnamon rolls.

We spent a great week here close enough to fort collins to visit my sister and far enough away to feel completely alone in the mountains. 20 minutes to Fort Collins; the pictures are exactly what you find and the owners have thought of every comfort. Truly like walking into a nice home, well stocked kitchen, dvds, library for reading; 2 great decks and the spa was working great. Thanks Korrine; i had to cut the trip short but it was very relaxing!

The TK Ranch exceeded our expectations!! We wanted to get out of the city for New Years Eve and spent just the weekend there and we're so glad we did. We had just 4 of us the first night and 6 the second night. The cabin is very open and spacious, yet comfortable and cozy. The kitchen is well equiped and easy to move around in. The view is awesome,,, especially from the hot tub! On the drive up, I was a bit concerned that it wouldn't be "mountainy" enough since it's right outside Fort Collins but I was very pleasantly surprised. It's so secluded and woodsy and you really feel like you're "away", even though it's an easy drive from Denver. Korinne was so nice to work with. We hope to return to the cabin in the summer. Thank you Korinne and Todd.

This was a fanatastic place for a family vacation! We had 12 people stay here comfortably, including 3 children. The separate house/room was good for those who needed a little more privacy. The kitchen is big enough for many people to cook at once and is well equipped for holiday dinners. The views were nice and we really enjoyed the hot tub on the deck. This place worked very well for my group! I think the house is more like 30-40 minutes from Fort Collins, depending on how fast you drive in mountain roads. It is also within a beautiful drive to Estes Park.

WOW!!! What a wonderful place to make family memories. It was very kid and pet friendly. We have a very large family and EVERYONE had a blast. Korrine was great to work with. We didn't have any problems, just a great time. The hot tub and view was fantastic, the kitchen had everything we needed to fix meals, plenty of sleeping area and the decorations were awesome. I'm sure we will be back.

Really great experience. This place was amazing. That said... it is an extremely secluded mountain cabin. Not a condo in Vail. If you're looking for brand new everything and daily housekeeping service on the bus route to the shopping district, this place probably isn't for you. If you want a beautiful, rustic, well maintained mountain hideaway, I'm not sure you could do much better. You are going to have to put in a little effort. It's a long way up a long gravel road. You're going to have to keep an eye on the well tank and keep it filled. And chances are you're going to come face to face w/ real honest to goodness nature during your stay. But, that's why you come to a place like this isn't it?

What a glorious cabin! I don't quite know what to make of that last review, because my experience couldn't have been more perfect! The cabin is gorgeous, the views are breathtaking, it was the perfect place for our getaway! I love how it's only a half hour outside of Fort Collins, and yet I felt transported to a place of complete tranquility. Everything was perfect, we spent our time relaxing and enjoying the peaceful property. I can't believe how quiet it was. We brought groceries with us and cooked meals in Korinne's kitchen, she has every sort of utensil, pot or pan you could need. The hot tub made the evenings even more relaxing, under all those stars! We are already planning our next trip . . . Korinne and Todd are such gracious hosts, I can't wait to go back!

My stay here was wonderful. This place is laid back, quiet, and beautiful. This property was the perfect place for a relaxing, get-away-from-it-all weekend. There was plenty of space for 10 of us to hang out and sleep comfortably. Days were spent piddling around the house, reading on the deck, with tasty dinners and wine in the evening back out on the fabulous balcony. If you're looking for an inexpensive place to chillax with friends/family, then look no further! I will definitely recommend this place to friends and family and hope to return someday.

I stayed at this cabin as part of my friend's wedding party. It was an ideal venue for the wedding, and the facilities were great. The deck and patio made for great times lounging around, playing games, enjoying drinks and sharing memories with close friends. The massive kitchen was well equipped for handling all the traffic between preparing meals for guests and for the reception. Most importantly the bathrooms and bedrooms were clean and tidy.

What a beautiful property! We LOVED the deck and the view of the rolling hills. Many hours were spent in the hot tub on that gorgeous deck! What a great get-away location! Can't wait to go back with my family to get away from the hustle and bustle of the city. Would definitely recommend to others. It was clean and had that great 'mountain lodge' kind of feeling to it.

If you like the thought of getting having a retreat into the rocky mountain wilderness without the fuss and preparation of having to prepare camping supplies, this cabin is a fantastic alternative. There is plenty of room both indoors and out doors and the view is simply to die for. The property was well cared for and clean. Whether for an event like a wedding, or just to have a get-away with friends, surrounded by gorgeous wilderness, this place is perfect.

My stay at TK Ranch was absolutely perfect. Korinne and Todd were very helpful and gracious. I absolutely would recommend TK Ranch to all my friends and family. The house is spacious, well-maintained, and sparkling clean, and Korinne's eye for decorating really made it feel welcoming and home-like. The photos just don't do it justice! I can't even begin to count all my "favorites"...relaxing on the huge deck and gazing at the forest and nighttime sky was spectacular...Soaking in the Jacuzzi...The crisp autumn air and fabulous views...The enormous bed in the master suite and bath...Getting a luxurious OPI mani/pedi from a manicurist that Korinne recommended and arranged to have visit the cabin...Autumn in the Colorado wilderness just couldn't be better than at TK Ranch. Their rates were very reasonable and the house and property were immaculately clean. Thank you, Todd and Korinne, for such a fantastic recharge at your cabin retreat.

The cabin itself is beautiful but unfortunately everything else is pretty bad. I was able to get a peak of it in January and it looked great (minus a few quirks). When I got there in July things were not so good. - The dryer was broken. We had planned on doing laundry since we rented the cabin for a week. We didn't get any sort of heads up about it being out of commission. - There is a HUGE mouse problem. We saw them constantly all over the house. In just a couple (2-3) days we caught 12 mice in 3 traps. It was completely disgusting. We had to keep all our food in big Rubbermaid containers so they wouldn't get into it. They had pulled insulation out of the vents in the sun room which we had to clean up ourselves. We had to tape plastic over the vents and use Febreeze and Glade just so the smell was bearable. - The house had a funky smell (which I presume is caused by the mice). - The spa needs to be cleaned and serviced. - It's a little funky. To get to the two bedrooms and the sun room on the bottom floor you have to walk through a storage closet area which is both ugly and unsafe for kids. Those two bedrooms have windows into the sun room with no covering so if someone is in the sun room they can look into either bedroom. - The refrigerator downstairs was dirty beyond use. It had rotten, moldy spilled food in it. - The house in general wasn't very clean. The upper balcony is covered in gross moldy carpet (which gets wet every time it rains). I imagine the wood underneath is moldy because of it. If you're curious, yes, we called the numbers listed. They sent someone out who put out a couple of mouse traps. They claimed they were sending someone to clean but that never happened. Now for the good... - It's got a great view. - The two upper bedrooms, living room, and sun room are very nice. - It's quiet and secluded. I had my wedding there with about 40-45 people with plenty of room. It was nice after a lot of elbow grease. We had everyone out on the lower patio. The rental would be 5 stars if it was actually taken care of and they got rid of the mice. Yes, we asked for a discount in the amount we paid. We had to buy stuff for the cabin (ant killer, cleaner, etc), clean, and deal with mice. I think that deserves a discount. If I hadn't planned my wedding there I would have left and asked for my money back. The owners overcharged us. They have let us know they are fixing that but it hasn't been completed yet (it has only been a few days).
Owner response:There are some people that you can never please, regardless of jumping through whatever hoops they may request. This lady was one of them. The dryer went out, unpreventable, but repaired after two trips to the cabin by the maintenance staff. one for diagnosing and one for repair. An additional cleaning (at my cost) was done during one of the maintenance trips by our professional cleaning crew. Bottom line, this lady's eyes were bigger than her budget or she just prefers to take advantage of people to pry out a better rate. I sincerely hope you can see through her rants and raves and read the other reviews which show a realistic and repeatable pattern of enjoyment.

Oh my, where do I start!? The pictures provided do not do the TK Ranch justice at all! It must be seen in person to truly appreciate! Todd & Korriene were more than helpful with any questions we had in regards to the cabin, they were just a phone call away at any time. The cabin was nicely furnished and ready for visitors. The kitchen had everything you would ever need to prepare a feast! At one point in time there was 17 people in the cabin and there was plenty of room for them all. I would definitely recommend TK Ranch if you are ever in need of just getting away from it all, this is the place to go! It was so relaxing to just sit out on the deck and take in the views or sit on the front porch steps and listen to the wolves at night. We hope to make it back in the future and maybe take in some of the sights near the cabin and areas around Fort Collins.

My friend's family recently rented out the house for his college graduation celebration. The place was fantastic! About 20 people were able to sleep comfortably - only a few had to sleep on air mattresses, but there was plenty of room in the downstairs covered porch. 20+ were able to hang out, eat dinner etc. without feeling cramped. The dogs loved running around outside - we didn't have to worry about traffic or anything else. The property was beautiful & secluded. The house was clean, and had everything that we all needed. It was great to sit outside in the hot tub while the rain was gently falling. I'm thinking about renting out the cabin for a girl's weekend or couples weekend...loved the place!

Thank you Korinne and Todd for sharing this beautiful property. It was perfect for our family. The home was cozy and we loved the decor. We felt very safe in the middle of nowhere!! We were at complete peace in a stunning cabin with access to everything we needed for the week. It was breathtaking and energizing to have our morning coffee on the deck, even in the snow!! The hot tub helped us de-stress and we had a rare opportunity to work on a 1500 piece puzzle without any time constraints. My 76 year old mother spent most of her time on the swinging bench to watch the sunrise and also enjoy the moonlit nights. It was not hard to wind down here. We enjoyed and appreciated every moment there. It has made wonderful memories. We hope to return next Spring!Thank you for the peace.

My son and I stayed at TK Ranch for two nights at the end of August, 2009. The TK Ranch is absolutely beautiful and so comfortable. The peace and serenity that we experienced at TK Ranch will not ever be forgotten. Korinne is fabulous and will assist you in any way she can. We spent the majority of our time on the deck taking in the majestic views, soaking in the hot tub, and enjoying a fire at night under the stars. It was a delightful treat listening to the wolves from dusk to dark. We will definitely be back, and next time we will stay much longer. Two nights was just not long enough. Thank you for sharing your beautiful home with us.

Oh my goodness, where do I start? We had our wedding--the first one!--at TK Ranch. It was absolutely amazing! Thank you, Korinne and Todd, for the best wedding venue ever! In addition to her role as proprietor, Korinne can arrange all sorts of fabulous beauty treatments--massage, facials, manicures, hair, makeup--and it all happens at the cabin! I arranged with Korinne to have two manicurists come to the cabin Friday afternoon, to give me and my bridesmaids manicures and pedicures, which was the best--my girls and I were drinking champagne, visiting with each other, enjoying the beautiful vistas from the cabin, and getting our nails done! The manicurists, Edie and Lori, were absolute sweethearts! We were all thrilled with our gorgeous hands and toes. Plus, Lori & Edie use OPI products, so you're assured it's the best quality! I also arranged with Korinne to have bridal hair and makeup done--so Korinne and Meggan came to the cabin at seven o'clock in the morning to start my bridal updo and makeup (my ceremony started at eleven o'clock and I was taking formal photos before the ceremony). I had previously arranged a trial run of the hair and makeup with Korinne and Meggan back in March, and it was great to see them again on my special Saturday morning in June! Korinne did an absolutely perfect job on my makeup, and Meggan gave me the most beautiful (and comfortable, and long-lasting) bridal updo. I got rave reviews all day long at how great my hair and makeup looked. Plus, it was great to feel like a princess as Korinne and Meggan got me ready! We rented TK Ranch for three nights (four + would have been even better, though!), and the house is spacious enough that we had our wedding party also stay at the cabin. We had approximately 60 guests, which is a great size for TK Ranch: ample parking for everyone, beautiful decks for outdoor entertaining, and a relaxing, perfectly decorated rustic cabin! People kept raving about how gorgeous it all was! I loved that I didn't need to decorate--Korinne has already decorated with such an eye for detail! For example, there are festive white lights strategically placed indoors and out, as well as beautiful little touches placed throughout that really make it feel like home. I especially love how reasonable our costs were--TK Ranch is beautiful and reasonable! For this 60-guest wedding, we self-catered with deli trays from King Soopers, got great chair/table, glasses & sound system renta

A group of friends and I flew out from Seattle and Portland for the weekend. Our only regret is that our time to enjoy the cabin was way too short. The place was great--so relaxing and beautiful. The owners were incredibly accommodating and responsive. Everyone in the group had a wonderful weekend and we would love to stay here again for our next (longer!) trip.

Wow, this place is absolutely peaceful and relaxing. It is like my own little piece of heaven! The setting is beautiful and what you would usually on experience in a rustic mountain cabin. However, this beautiful house in a magnificant setting has all the modern stuff - TV, Internet, music, kitchen, hot tub. Such luxury in such a great setting - I have never experienced a better get away - and I've been to quite a few. Thank you so much Korinne and Todd for providing such a wonderful relaxing place!!

This is my favorite place in the whole world! I love spending time with my friends, Todd and Korinne Cox, in this most special place, but I must admit, my favorite times are when I am there alone! I feel as though I am the only guest at a divine retreat or a first class Spa. There is no one there to give me a rubdown, the wind in the pines is my massuese. There is no aromatherapy treatment, the scents of the forest fill my senses. There is no need of a pill to help me sleep, the quiet and the starlight through my bedroom window are my own private lullaby. When I leave this log house, driving down the canyon, I feel renewed and powerful! I cannot wait to be there again! There are no real words to describe what it is like there. You have to come yourself, and find your own words.
