Accommodation : Apartment in the first floor of an early 20th century building (sleeps 3 – 4) xx m2 . Two bedrooms, two full bathrooms and a lavatory, kitchen, dinning cum living room (separate sections in a large space), ample terrace with separate suite. Fully furnished. Parquet floors. High ceilings. Bright, quiet, secure. Parking space available nearby.

The apartment is located near Porta al Prato on Via Scarlatti, between Via Perluigi di Palestrina and Via della Carra, about 10 minutes walk from Santa Maria Novella railway station. Porta al Prato is part of the ancient city walls of Florence and is in the midst of a square on the circular path that girdles the city.

The two-story apartment is on the first floor (second floor in American terms) of a building which is a typical example of industrial architecture of the early 20th century.. There is no elevator but is served by a normal, manageable staircase. In the first floor there is the entrance, the living-room and a dining-room (with a big dining table that can easily seat eight people), a fully equipped kitchen and a bathroom with bathtub, bidet and towel warmer.

The terrace is reached through a big door from the kitchen and across it there is a single suite bedroom. There is also a table and chairs if one wants to have open air meals. The second story is reached through a spiral staircase and consists of a studio with a spacious bedroom and a toilet.

The apartment was renovated with the idea of creating a big open space to take advantage of natural light. The result is a comfortable space decorated with paintings where modern and traditional objects blend tastefully.
