This 4 bed/2 bath vacation rental located in the downtown Garden District of Coeur d'Alene Idaho, easily accommodates eight guests and is updated with bamboo floors, granite counter tops, and stainless steel appliances. The kitchen is stocked with all of the essentials, and all linens are provided.
This home also features two main floor bedrooms in addition to the main floor bath, to accommodate guests who have difficulty with stairs. The third and fourth bedrooms are located on the second floor with the second bathroom. Each bedroom is furnished with a queen size bed and generous closet space.
The basement is a cozy spot, with a pool table and cable TV for late night entertainment that doesn't disturb the rest of the house. Bring your ipod! We have a stereo system in the basement that allows you to hook up your ipod and listen to your favorite music.
Well behaved pets are always welcome at this home, and they are sure to enjoy the large fenced backyard. The patio and fire pit offer a great location for a family BBQ.

We had a wonderful long weekend in Coeur d'Alene. The Downtown Retreat was a big reason why. The home was very clean and, with bedrooms separated between two floors and an entertaining space in the basement, individuals in our group of eight had privacy as wanted. We were fortunate to have great weather, so the good-sized backyard got a lot of use (our dogs played fetch for hours). We rented this house for its great location to downtown. We easily walked to dinner, shopping, resort and lake. Hiking at Tubbs hill was easy too and let you feel like you got out of town. We were here during winter so didn't get to enjoy backyard and nice patio furniture but looked good. Great kitchen and open to livingroom. Cute home in good downtown neighborhood. Lauren was great to work with and very quick to respond to any questions.Recommended for: Sightseeing, tourists without a car, girls getaway, families with young children, pet owners, adventure seekers, romantic getaway, families with teenagers.

This house was comfortable and cozy. We had a large group and fit into the home well. The outside of the home is decieving, it looks small but once you are inside there is plenty of space and rooms are a good size. We have rented over 4 homes in this area and this home by far is the most comfortable and relaxing! I highly recommend this property!Recommended for: Sightseeing, girls getaway, families with young children, adventure seekers, families with teenagers.

Loved this home! Stayed for a month in Nov. From the minute we walked in, we loved the warm lighting, cozy decor, well stocked kitchen and linen closet. House has been updated and has both the new and old feel to it. Neighborhood is quiet and neighbors are friendly. We loved the church bells ringing each evening, such a peaceful place. It's so convienent to downtown and groceries. 5-10 min. to anywhere.Recommended for: Sightseeing, girls getaway, families with young children, adventure seekers, romantic getaway, families with teenagers.

From the minute we walked in to this wonderful older home, we felt as if the place embraced us. It's creaky but cozy. It felt warm and inviting, open design with warm colors and perfectly placed warm lighting. The house has been updated, both kitchen and baths and we loved the colors and feel. Yet it still has that old home quality. Spent lots of time playing in the basement with our child, playing pool and running up and down the stairs. We had a good snow and built a snowman. Loved the neighbors and neighborhood. So close to the grocery store and everything down by the lake. We so loved listening to the church bells every evening. Quiet area. Such a respite from our other crazy life. Thanks for renting out this lovely home. ps...linens are wonderful, kitchen has it all. And the owner is very responsive.Did you find this review helpful?
