We rented this property for the Savannah Marathon weekend. Great location and the house has a nice open floor plan with very cool furnishings. Would definetly stay again.

  • GREAT CONDO BUT SOME PROBLEMS

Everything other guests have said about this condo is true - the location is fantastic; next to Forsythe Park. The Condo is lovely and well-equipped and furnished; although it was missing a few items, like dish soap, kitchen towels, etc that one would expect to find; nevertheless, it was perfect for a women's get-away. Well - almost perfect. Unfortunately, there were a few maintenance issues with the condo, two of which definitely impacted our stay. The first was that the deck had not been cleaned; not only had it not been cleaned recently; it had not been cleaned for many weeks; vines were actually growing around the chairs. As we definitely wanted to use this deck, we spent an hour cutting vines, scrubbing tables and chairs and sweeping up piles of leaves. The management company told us that the maid had not been paid to clean the deck so it was not her responsibility; I'm pretty sure it should not be the guests' responsibility so this is something the owner needs to look at. Once it was cleaned, we spent many a happy hour on this deck, with its view of Forsythe Park. We had hoped to use the gas barbecue, but it is rusted and unusable. The second serious problem was not so easily remedied. The toilet in one of the bedrooms would not flush; this was rather an annoying problem as 3 of us shared this bedroom and had to either traipse through the other ladies' bedroom when we needed to use the facilities or tromp all the way downstairs. After contacting the management company several times over this incident, they told us that a plumber would be contacted but, if they did not appear, we could fight it out with the owner for a partial refund. As we were not interested in marring our holiday with this hassle, we let it go and put up with the inconvenience. The owner, to date, has not returned e-mails. Having rented other properties throughout the world and having any concerns dealt with immediately, we were a bit surprised at the lack of response to some rather serious problems. I hope the owner of this condo takes a serious look at maintenance issues. This is a beautiful condo in a fantastic location and great value for the money; it is a shame to see it not properly maintained.

What a beautifully appointed Townhouse in the heart of Savannah. Large rooms, well appointed, comfortable for families and entertaining. We couldn't have been happier with our stay. Next time in Savannah, we'll be back.

Overall this place exceeded my expectations was within walking distance to major key points. A couple of things that left me baffled about the place was 1) The Deck has speakers in it but had no clue as to how to use them (must confess didn't spend too much time on figuring it out ) and 2) the randomly placed nick nacks that seemed out of place like the baby dino toy and toy lizard on two different colums and little troll doll

This place is a great way to experience Savannah! Having lived in Savannah and visted since many times, I vote this as the best way to experience Savannah. Well equipped and beautiful townhome, perfect location and a very cooperative/ communicative owner made for a perfect experience. Would certainly stay here again !

The townhome was just as I expected/hoped from the pictures. There was no let down there. A large park (Forsyth) is close as is the historic district. Everything is within walking distance (a mile or less) and the area is well lit at night. If you come into town on I-16 (the best way) the house is within a half mile of the interstate, and yet it is quiet and peaceful at the house. The only "stress" we had on the trip was the loss of Wi Fi about midway of our stay. For elderly guest or small children the back stairs are a better choice than the front. The front steps, like most homes in the area, are steep and curved.

I had high expectations and it was even better than I had thought. The location is perfect, the decor is great, lots of space and privacy if 2 couples go. I LOVED having the patio and the park is right next door. There is also a laundry room in the house which was great since we have a baby. The is a walking closet in one bedroom, large enough to accomodate a pack N play so your young child doesnt have to share your room. The stairs to get to the condo are very sharp so this wouldn't be a good fit for older people and young children have to be careful. My only complaint would be that the internet wasn't working period. There was very brief times where it would be not consistently. Savannah is such a beautiful city! I have traveled the world and usually I dont like going to the same place twice (I'd rather see something new) but Savannah is the only place in the States I want to go back to.

Owner response: Thanks for the great review. I have resolved WiFi not working - so should not be a problem again. Looking forward to hosting you again.

Beautiful home, great interior decoration. Loved the kitchen and dining room, great to have a good dinner in. Plenty of space for the group I went with. Also, the park is right out your front door, so on a beautiful sunny day it is perfect! Definitely would stay here again.

In September 2009 my husband and I stayed a week in this amazing townhome with dear friends from Australia to celebrate my 40th birthday. This was the best set-up for us--we could sit together on the back deck, cook meals in the fully-functional kitchen (fresh orange juice in the morning!), watch a movie, read, nap, or hit the hay without "leaving" the group. You just can't do that in a hotel! The location of this "home-base" in Savannah is a short walk from funky coffee shops, fancy organic restaurants, kitschy diners, historic homes, and the park. A full-size grocery store is just a quick walk away, too; however, we needed the car for the liquor store ;-). The bathrooms are big and clean. The interior decorating is impeccable. We have 3 kids and our house will never be so "clutter-free", so it was a fantasy stay in that respect, too! The house has full-size washer and dryer so packing light is very doable! We felt lucky to have stayed here, and wanted to leave suggestions/recommendations to the visitors who followed--we feel like we're members of an elite club to have had the opportunity to stay in this lovely place. We'd come back again, for sure!

My family stayed here for the New Year's holiday. The condo is beautiful and spotless! Erwin was great, he made a list of the "must" Savannah restaurants. We didn't make the whole list, but Sticky Fingers BBQ is a must for any rib fan's out there. I would recommend this vacation rental to anyone and would not hesitate to stay again. The first vacation rental that matches what you see in pictures!

We stayed here over the Thanksgiving holiday weekend, and couldn't be happier with our experience. The townhome is impeccably decorated and convenient to everything. We were able to comfortably walk down Bull Street and be at the riverfront in 15 minutes. I'd recommend staying here to anyone who is traveling to Savannah. Wonderful experience.

We (2 Couples) had a great time in Savannah and enjoyed this home very much. The deck was great for hanging out and listening to Jazz Fest. Stefanie (the property manager) was great and was waiting for us when we got there, she was very helpful. Thanks Again!

We went to Savannah for a wedding and decided to make it a girls getaway. The house was a breath of fresh air from everything else - it was nice to stay in a contemporary home in a historic district. The furniture is truly impressive, and the large rooms made us city girls very jealous. The location is great – I was able to do my morning jog on the park (it is very safe, but get out early to avoid the heat) , and enjoyed coffee on balcony at 8AM.The street was quiet, there is plenty of parking on street but watch out for street cleaning on Tuesday and Wednesday nights... Thanks Erwin for the warning!Overall, we had a fabulous time, loved the house, enjoyed the wedding and quaint Savannah. Look forward to returning again.
