Hi Ledge, We had a wonderful time in Cozumel. You have a lovely condo. Everything was extremely organized – could not have asked for anything else. The User Guide is just super…so much useful information. Spot on regarding restaurant recommendations…except Otates…we didn’t like the fact that they returned the unused condiments (salsa, onions) to the main container and use it for other diners. Loved El Moro and La Choza…San Carlos had a great fried fish… Hope to be back next year. MikeDid you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 0/0

This was our first visit to Dulce Vista and it certainly was well above our expectations. The depictions in the photos don't do this property justice. It's very clean and modern and the view is spectacular from the balcony! Oh did I mention the 2 hammocks on the balcony to watch the sunset at dusk? We vacationed over the Christmas Break with our 17 yr old son, 15 yr old daughter, and 81 yr old Father-In-Law. They swam & hung out on the local beach on the property and never once did the locals make us feel uncomfortable at all. Weather was perfect and the water was warm. Very quiet and relaxing area well away from downtown. Security out front of the property at nights always made you feel extra safe. We booked Sandra's Kitchen for the first week & the cook (Estelle) was amazing & money well spent!! Fulvio and his wife are very warm, genuine and helpful. Very easy driving around the island & Paradise Beach Club was our favorite. We're already planning our next trip back. Best kept secret we discovered is a small restaurant called Kondesa (YUM) and their outdoor patio dining is Zen-Fusion deco/atmosphere meets Mexican-Flair cooking. Free WiFi was a bonus as well as being able to call back to Canada on Christmas Day to wish the family Seasons Greetings. Ledge you've thought of everything to make your home away from home, our new home away from home in Cozumel.Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers.

My husband and I visited this place with our 3 boys and we had a fabulous time! The condo is beautiful with everything you should need!! We like the location because it is so close to the town and so close to the airport (about 5 minutes driving). The bedrooms are big and spacious, the bathrooms are clean and nice and the living area is very spacious! The pool was nice and the beach was terrific for snorkeling. My boys saw eels, tropical fish, sting rays, etc. right off the beach at the condo. They went fishing off the pier with the fishing poles provided in the condo. We did have a car so we usually traveled to the "rough" side so the boys could play in the waves and then would end up back at our beach/pool for the afternoon. The sun doesn't really hit the pool area until later in the day because we were there in the winter month. Flavio was very very helpful and told us about how all the beaches are open to the public on Sundays and "our" beach would be crowded with locals. We decided to take the boys to Paradise Beach/Pool and it was all free of charge because it was Sunday. The pool there was beautiful and clean and recently renovated! They also have the blow up water toys in the ocean that was also fun for the boys. I would highly recommend Paradise beach. Ledge has everything in the condo very organized and has TONS of useful information about the island and restaurants. Our favorite restaurant was a place called Fratelli's! The owner was so friendly and the food was delicious! He is famous for his flaming banana dessert which was quite a show and also very very delicious. We went to a little taqueria (that was one of Ledge's recomendations) and there was this soup there that was AMAZING! The tacos were nice too. Some other restaurants that we enjoyed were La Choza (the lobster kebobs were great), La Kinta, and Coconuts (AWESOME views and super drinks). Another one of our favorite places for lunch was this little cafe called La Tienda Guidos. They have sandwiches, soups, cheeses, homemade yogurt, pastries. It was all SO SO fresh. We had a fantastic time in this condo and would highly recommend it to anyone! Thank you Ledge! We hope to be back soon:)Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, tourists without a car, romantic getaway.

Everything about the condo was perfect..all necessary amenities were included, the location is ideal, the rooms spacious and very comfortable for our party of 8. The chef service was definitely an added plus. We had 2 dinners and 1 brunch and thoroughly enjoyed the couple who prepared the authentic and delicious meals on site. The site manager is available if needed and very helpful and accommodating. Perfect views of sunrise over the trees and sunset over the water. Truly not enough superlatives to describe this place. Thank you, thank you to the owners for making it available!!!Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway.

We immediately fell in love with this condo. It is beautifully decorated, fully equipped with everything we needed, and the size was perfect for ourselves and our 2 adult children. We cooked several meals and found the kitchen fully stocked to prepared meals. The BBQ may need a little attention. We had some trouble cooking on it. The condo is immaculate and the cleaning service was excellent. When at the condo, we spent most of our time on the terrace enjoying the view, the ships and fishermen. It was splendid. We loved the cool breeze and kept all the windows open the entire time. We swam in the pool and at the beach several times daily and it felt like our own private resort. We usually had the place to ourselves. Even though the beach is public, we found the locals to be generally very quite and respectful. It was great to just walk down a few flight of stairs and jump into the turquoise water. We enjoyed many delicious meals from the list of suggestions. We hope to return to Vista Dulce again to enjoy all the restaurants and sights that we were not able to fit in.Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 0/0

Comfortable condominium. Location on the public beach makes it noisy, especially on weekends. Owner was helpful.Owner response: All beaches in Mexico as with most beaches in the US are available to the public. The locals love our beach as much as we do especially on Sunday afternoons after church.

We were multi-generational family, grandmother, mother and two college age kids (boy and girl) - we were more than pleased. The listing description was accurate. The photos (as someone else suggested) didn't do the place justice. I would recommend this place to any one and everyone. The other reviews talk about everything I would say so I won't belabor the points. One review did talk about the beach not being smooth sand. My grandson went barefoot when ever we were on the beach and he was just fine. I wore my scuba bootie and was just fine. We dove with Papa Hog's they were good, not outstanding but very reasonable. We were there during Edwardo - harbor was closed for two days but it was a glorious vacation in large part to this wonderful condo. I plan on bringing some other friends next year.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, sightseeing.

The listing for Vista Dulce is accurate and photos don't lie - this is a beautiful condo right on the beach with a spot that is perfect for snorkeling! We took a party of six from ages 13-79. Everyone was pleased. Close enough to town to shop, but far enough away to totally escape. Wi-fi was a big plus to stay plugged in to the real world. Gas grill made for easy meals. The group had two favorite places to eat, and both were local joints. El Moro was a gem in the rough, and the Seafood Special for two was more than enough to feed three. The tacos Pastor or Gringas were AMAZING at Taqueria El Pique. They can only be ordered after 6pm, but well worth the wait! Our stay was great and we can't wait to go back!Recommended for: Families with teenagers, families with young children.

This condo is a true home away from home. Everything you could possibly want. Owner, manager, and housekeeping obviously take great pride in providing guests with top notch service. The pool is sparkling blue and much of the beach is sandy. We seem to have the beach and pool to ourselves most of the time. Thank you so much for providing my family with a holiday above and beyond what we expected. I also highly recommend diving with Deep Blue. They took all five of us (kids 11, 12, & 15) on a private boat with 3 dive masters to keep us safe and sound. What a wonderful experience!Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

We are a family of 4 and this condo met our needs perfectly. The description is accurate and if anything, the pictures do not do it justice. The unit is clean and well-maintained. The owner is excellent to work with and very responsive to questions. He provides an extensive guest book by email (& printed in the condo) with reference information and recommendations of places to eat, shop, and things to do. It's so helpful in planning your days. The manager, Fulvio, was so helpful to us as well. He was available by phone whenever we had a question or needed any local tips/advice. He came over and introduced himself the first day we arrived. He's so friendly and welcoming, and it's nice to know there is someone on the island to connect with if you needed anything. We didn't spend a lot of time at the condo, but when we were there, every amenity was available we could have needed. My husband and I would probably never have used the tv, but the kids were happy to be able to watch the same shows from home. It was nice to be able to plug in our iPods and play our favorite music. We found several books we had been wanting to read, which was also a nice surprise. The free phone calls and Wifi access were nice for the kids to keep in touch with their friends. The spacious balcony is just great for relaxing, playing games, and enjoying the view. We spent most of our time that we were at the condo on the balcony observing the boats, enjoying sunsets, reading, and playing games. I'd also recommend this condo for couples traveling together because it is spacious enough that everyone would have their own space with multiple areas for the group to gather (dining, living room, balcony). With each bedroom having a private bathroom and a 4th additional bathroom, I do think this would meet the needs of larger groups. It is easy to find a taxi going by, but we had a car and thought it was very worth it to just be able to walk out to the car and explore the island. While visiting, we ate some meals in, ate many meals out, swam with dolphins, relaxed at Chankanaab National Park, explored the "other" side of the island (had great drinks and enjoyed an amazing view at Coconuts), snorkeled, and walked the Plaza. Our favorite meals out were at Guido's (you MUST have the garlic bread and I also recommend the sangria), Kelley's and Tony Rome's (Kelley and Tony will likely come out and introduce themselves at their restaurants, both are very nice guys). Thanks, Ledge!Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

If you're used to all-inclusive vacations, do yourself a favor. Stay at Vista Dulce and you may never stay at another all-inclusive resort in your life. The condominium is extraordinary. It's equipped with every amenity - from satellite TV, free internet, free calls to the U.S., right down to a huge assortment of board games for your family. The view from Vista Dulce's 65-foot balcony is incomparable. We even saw a pod of dolphins swimming lazily by in the ocean. The best snorkeling is just north of the unit behind an abandoned hotel (it was damaged in a hurricane). You'll spot it easily. Corona Beach Club offered great snorkeling as well. Be sure to rent a car from Avis - they were amazingly honest, and driving around the island was a breeze. I fully expected some type of ripoff from the rental car folks, but I couldn't have been happier. Pay for your rental with your Visa credit card and you'll have automatic primary damage insurance. (You want "primary," not "secondary" insurance, and you get this for free when you pay with your Visa. More info here: http://usa.visa.com/personal/cards/benefits/bft_dmg_waiver_personal.html) You'll definitely want a car to go exploring. Don't miss the wild side of the island. Grab a map and explore its abandoned beaches. There's nothing to fear. And there's only one main road so it's virtually impossible to get lost. Get your groceries at the Mega super market at the south end of the Sea Front road. Groceries are super cheap and liquor is a fraction of the cost you'd pay in t he States. Do be sure to eat at a genuine taqueria far off of the strip. You can find them by just driving around east of the strip. Some great restaurants are Costa Brava, Especias, and La Lobsteria. Le Chef restaurant was pretty good, but the steak was nothing to write home about. (The red snapper in Lobster sauce was killer, though.) Cafe Denis received great reviews on most sites, but I thought the food and service were poor. Okay, you've got all the info. Now all you need is a plane ticket. Treat yourself and your family to a great time at Vista Dulce for an experience you'll cherish forever.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

Hi Ledge, Thanks so much for letting us stay in your beautiful condo. We felt right at home. It is gorgeous! We did go a lot to town and tried a few restaurants. La Mision was our favorite, we haven't had seafood that tasty in a long time. If we would have had more time, we would have gone to Coconuts. The people in Cozumel are so friendly and the markets were neat to check out. I really appreciated the fact that I was able to preorder groceries, as the kids were hungry when we got there and it tied them over til supper. We also enjoyed the choice of tequila they selected for us, el Jimador, have never tried it before. Berta is a sweetheart and always had your home spic and span. We walked on the pier, the kids snorkeled off your shore and we walked the beach. They had fun finding crabs. We live in Manitoba, Canada so we left with snow on the ground. They found the change of scenery quite exciting. We did do a snorkel tour. A private one with a smaller boat that had a glass bottom. It was fun! All in all we had a wonderful time for our first visit to Cozumel ! Thanks again from the bottom of our hearts!! Sincerely, The Meilleur FamilyDid you find this review helpful? Our family of five stayed at Vista Dulce for 8 days. This condo has large, very well appointed rooms and is well maintained. Some rental condos are sort of barren, but not this place...it feels very welcoming and bright. We had plenty of space; we have a fair amount of experience renting from owners and this in the top tier of places we've stayed at. The pool is nice and we essentially had it to ourselves all week. The building is well cared for and secure. The location is very convenient to town and it does not even take very long to drive all the way to the south end of the island from here. The owner is excellent to work with and provided an extensive list of activities and restaurants with reviews. The local manager was also very helpful and available to give insider advice. We found this level of support to be quite valuable in planning some parts of the vacation. If (when) we return to Cozumel, we would certainly rent this place again. Finally, we did rent a car (from Ace/Executive). I'd do that again too. The car adds a lot of flexibility no matter where you stay and the driving in Coz is pretty easy.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, sightseeing.

Comments: Hello Ledge, After 16 vacations in Cozumel in the past 20 years, the last three at your beautiful home, I can honestly say we will stay nowhere else. We've done the A.I.'s and other hotels on the island, but nothing we've experienced has come close to Vista Dulce. Fabulous view, tasteful yet comfortable furnishings, great service (Berta is terrific...keeps the place immaculate!) all combine to make us feel right at home the moment we drop our bags! The worst thing about the whole experience was having to pack those bags back up again! We're looking forward to another 2 (maybe 3 ?) weeks again next year. Thanks again, Ledge. Dear Ledge - Just a quick note to let you know how much we enjoyed Vista Dulce. We happened to get one of those weeks when the high wind kicks up for five days straight (out of our 8), but your condo is so comfortable and homey that it was easy to experience a joyous week. We left 3 books (none so good as the Bangkok 8 we found on your shelves) and an exprimador (fresh orange juice is wonderful here this time of year). Having stayed all over Cozumel in a multitude of accommodations, it's easy to say that yours ranks up in very the top two. I would gladly (and hope to) return, and plan to recommend on TripAdvisor that others do the same. Of course one always hates to do that when you find womething really wonderful -- what if a glowing recommendation means somebody else reserves before i do . . . ah well -- just wanted you to know what a great time we had. Thanks again, RobinDid you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 0/0

Spent a delightful week at Vista Dulce in early November 2010. Unfortunately, most of that week Cozumel was buffeted by high winds, even on the 'calm' side, but fortunately, Vista Dulce is such a comfortable accommodation that we were happy just to hang out and read more than we would normally while on Cozumel. We visit Cozy several times a year, and this condo ranks in our very top 3 accommodations available on the island. The condo is spacious, well maintained, and everything (especially the A.C.) works quickly and efficiently. There is plenty of parking for the small number of units, the maid (cleaning) service is unobtrusive, and the furniture is attractive and comfortable. The kitchen was well equipped, and the bathrooms were great with excellent showers & water pressure. Lots of books and beach towels were available, too. The whole place felt home-like and comfy, without being at all worn down. The only minor annoyance was the half flight of stairs up or down from the elevator, but this was more than compensated for by the extremely easy access into the ocean from the relatively sandy shore fronting the condo. The snorkeling wasn't spectacular right by the condo, but that might have been due to the high winds roiling the water. Guess we'll just have to go back again and check when it's calmer -- it's a dirty job, but somebody's got to do it!Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

Ledge, we returned from Cozumel yesterday after a wonderful trip and stay in your super condo! Everything went very well and our group is still buzzing about Vista Dulce and our fun times on the island. Thanks so much for the opportunity to experience Cozumel and celebrate my wife’s birthday in style! BTW, Guido’s was our favorite restaurant. Only two items to share FYI…the guest book is completely full…we made our comments on the very last page; and the drawer beneath the TV in the master suite was off of its track when we arrived, so looks like it will need to be repaired. Other than these minor items, everything else in the condo was perfect. Best regards, TonyDid you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 0/2

1st visit to Vista Dulce. The place is better than descriptions or pictures. The owner GOES the extra mile with furnishings, accomodations, guest book etc. Has to be one of the nicest places in Cozumel. Just far enough away from town to be very peaceful, just close enough to town for convenience. The view, the beach, the pool, the surroundings, were just what we needed. We were fortunate to have such an excellent place to stay! We felt like we had the entire building to ourselves as there were no others at the private pool the entire week. Being snorkelers and having our own equipment, it was especially nice to just walk the 30 yards right into the ocean and snorkel for hours at a time, beautiful sea life, many flounder, box fish, even saw a few barracuda. Loved the sunsets on the grand balcony. Security and housekeeping were honest and trustworthy, very nice to have such peace of mind. Recommend a rental car for at least a day to see the opposite side of the island and to eat at a cabana. Highly recommend the scuba tours - beautiful sea life! Our stay at Vista Dulce this January was SPECTACULAR! My husband calls me “5-star” when it comes to hotel accommodations and Vista Dulce was all that and more! From the comfort of Egyptian cotton sheets, to beautiful artwork, a private balcony where we relaxed in the evening in the hammocks . . . Vista Dulce has all the beauty and charm of Mexico with the accommodations of home! We enjoyed the private pool and loved the white sand beach just a few steps away! This was our first trip to Cozumel so the “guest book” was very useful. We tried the local spots for dinner, La Mission, La Choza, Los Otates, El Taco – all very friendly with flavorful dishes and fun drinks (try the “sexy coffee” at La Mission). A highlight was renting an old convertible Bug from Smart Car. We drove south around the island stopping at the local spots for a Corona and watching the sunset at Coconuts – what a day! We hope to be back soon! Thank you for sharing your Caribbean home with us! – David and Theresa MyersDid you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 0/0

Dear Ledge, How could anyone say anything less that POSITIVE!!! Just returned to the cold blustery winter of upstate NY, sadly I miss the blue sky, warm breezes, and cold cervasa of Cozumel, and the comfortable living of the Vista Dulce. My self, my husband and my three daughters, 14, 13, 9 ALL had a wonderful time. The vonage phone with free long distance was a plus. We where able to call home and check on our doggy's, that made the kids happy. One rain day till 2:30 PM, thankfully you had Forrest Gump on DVD. I am glad we only had one rain day, but if the entire week was a wash out we would have had our choices of well equiped games, cards, dvd's, music cd's, and books to choose from. My kids alternated from the jungle room, to the ocean front room. We ALL are happy, suntanned and refreashed!!!! Hope to visit the Vista Dulce again someday! Thank You so Much! We just returned from 7 days at Vista Dulce and could not be happier. The condo is beautiful and the location could not be better. The staff, including Fulvio, Berta and the maintenance folks were a pleasure to deal with. I have traveled all over the world and this is one of the nicest places I've ever stayed. Thank you Ledge for paying such close attention to all of the small things that make your place feel so much like home. Our party liked it so well that I have decided to make this a yearly trip and have already booked it for next Memerial Day also. Do not hesitate to stay here. Sorry this is a little late getting posted but just wanted everyone to know what a nice place this is to stay. My wife and I booked this condo for a week in Nov 07. My sister and husband and brother and his wife joined us here for Thanksgiving. We enjoyed the ladies that came to cook. We only had them for 3 days because we wanted to go out and about to eat also but it was a fun experience to have them come and cook for us sometimes. Their food was very good and plentiful. The snorkeling was awesome. Some of us didn't want to snorkel so the rest of us were free to come and go as we pleased and not have anyone feel dragged along or left out. The view from the patio is beautiful. We watched the sun come up, and set. We watched the cruise ships come and go. We watched the natives on Sunday. There is a lot to see from up there! When we weren't watching, we drank margaritas and slept in the hammocks. This is a place I would highly recommend to anyone.Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 0/0

Just returned from a 7 night stay at Vista Dulce. My wife and 3 daughters (21,20,16) were along also. We dove 4 days with Albatross Charters (excellent small outfit). The condo is great and the location can't be beat. This is much better than the house we rented before that was in town. If you're going to Cozumel, you need to stay on the beach, if you can and this is the place. The views, amenities, and layout are outstanding. Thanks for a great week!Did you find this review helpful? This was our 5th visit to Cozumel and our 3rd time staying at Vista Dulce. I would never consider staying in a hotel or a resort again. I've brought friends, and several family members to Vista Dulce and everybody loves it! I feel just as comfortable as I do at home. We have the best location, private terrace, and sandy beach. Bertha always goes the extra mile in cleaning the condo everyday and even doing our laundry! She is wonderful as is Fulvio. Last year, we skipped Cozumel due to the hurrican and tried Bahamas. It was ok, buy nowhere near as good as Cozumel and Vista Dulce. We did see the damage to the reefs this time, but the diving was still better than anywhere I've been and the Marine Life was better than ever. We even saw Black-Tip Reef Sharks (a first for me at Coz) and all the usual characters (eels, turtles, eagle rays, nurse sharks, toad fish, etc. etc.). The dolphins swim by the front of the condo just about every night as usual. Well I could go on and on, but I think you get the idea. I think every family has their special vacation spot and we have definately found ours. I hope Vista Dulce is available to rent for a long long time! Thanks again Ledge!Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 0/0

Its been almost exactly one week since we departed Vista Dulce and the island of Cozumel. The images of our wonderful time there are as crisp and clear as if it were only yesterday. Vista Dulce is perfect! It was everything you said and more! Vista Dulce provides the customer with just the right mix of locale, scenery, convenience, service support, independence and comforts of home. The entertainment system with choice of music and video was a superb surprise, as was the extensive library. Some personal notes from us (first time guest perspective); 1. We did rent an air conditioned car [Hertz] for the entire week. Smart investment, reasonable price. Freedom to explore. 2. Went to Coconuts on the Eastern shore - great margaritas. 3. We will NEVER, EVER darken the door of Senor Frog's again. What a DUMP and the food was equally dumpy. Worse, it cost and arm and leg. Overcooked frozen chicken fingers (6), paltry dip, one of the absolute worst margaritas (if that what this was) we have ever tried - could not finish either for a total cost of $32 US for both us (not including the minimal tip we left for the surly server). 4. The beach at Las Brisas is very nice. The pool is beautiful and clean. 5. This trip we decided to dive with Aldora Divers. Aldora is very professional and 'leans' toward attracting more experienced divers. They specialize in the use of longer down time 120 and 150 steel tanks, so the cost is bit higher. But, if you do the math it is actually lower than aluminum tanks v/v per minute of actual diving. Otherwise, we had several great dives with this outfit. 6. We visited Chankanaab Park. Neat place. Interesting stuff to see and do. 7. Cruise ships seem to be a necessary evil for the burgeoning local economy (main street is dramatically improved from a few years ago in terms of appearance). Rather than cruising, we much prefer to find a place like Vista Dulce and burrow in for a week. 8. We cooked in 5 of the 7 nights and loved it. Grocery shopped at Chedraui and San Francisco as well as some smaller local places. We assiduously washed food according to instructions and never had a problem. Your potable water service in the house is outstanding, must have drunk 10 gallons. 9. We found that all locals we met were kind, considerate, informative, helpful and just plain nice people to be around. 10. We dined at Panchos Back Yard, Prima and LaChoza. We had been to LaChoza on a previous trip, still a great place. Panchos was aDid you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 0/0

Thank you for your informative 'lead-in' to the trip and for providing a truly exceptional value. We enjoyed staying at your vacation home and hope that we left it in as good or better condition that we found it - which is hard to do because it is so well cared for. We stayed at Vista Dulce in March this year (2005) and could not be more pleased with the entire experience. It's the best location on the island and it's quiet, relaxed, and everyone, including staff, was terrific. We have traveled much of Mexico and this rates No. 1 in all categories. Location, condominium, food, access, view, activities, people and the town is great! Will rebook as soon as we can. Carter Wilson Hagerman, ID 83332Did you find this review helpful? Hi, We just got back from Cozumel a couple of days ago, and I just wanted to drop you a note to tell you how much we enjoyed ourselves. Your condo lived up to the description and we sure used that balcony! You’ll laugh if I tell you that all week long I was making Margaritas for my wife and sister from a mix that I bought, and it was only on the Friday, that by reading the label, I discovered that there was no tequila in it at all. You were supposed to add your own! My sister even said to me, “God, I must becoming an alcoholic, these drinks have no effect on me!”. We had great meals at La Chosa, Especias, El Moro, and Pancho’s Backyard. La Chosa was our favorite and we went back there for our final night. Guido’s was overpriced, non-caring service, and generally poorly presented….it rated a 3 thumbs down. Thanks for the opportunity to explore Cozumel.Did you find this review helpful? What a great place! Stayed 2 weeks at Vista Dulce in May/03 with my husband and 2 teenage kids and we loved it. Have been to Cozumel several times before and stayed at hotels, all-inclusives and other condos down the street but Vista Dulce is really our favorite. Ledge, what really sets it apart from the others is the attention to detail that made us really feel like welcomed guests in your home. You really have thought of everything to make a vacation perfect. The bikes, the bar b que, the hammocks, the beautiful decor, the fluffy beach towels all add to a great vacation. We really appreciated your phone call to check if everything was OK. We had wonderful time in Cozumel doing all the usual holiday things like scuba, snorkelling, deep-sea fishing, exploring, dining out, shopping and hope to be able to return soon and again stay in your lovely condo.Did you find this review helpful? Dear Ledge, We had a wonderful time!!! Your condo was incredible; you have impeccable taste. We have been to Cozumel 5 times and yours was by far the best place we have ever stayed. It is so comfortable and the view is spectacular!!! We exchanged numerous notes with Fulvio but never actually met him, the maids were great (and they did come on Sunday although we weren't expecting them)...all in all it was perfect. The diving was good, and the kids did very well. Blue Bubble was really good. Both Raul and Pedro Paublo were excellent - they handled our different skill levels, from raw beginner to advanced, very well... and made everyone happy - the adolescent boy, the 19 year old "princess", the hot shot 21 year old, as well as the stoggy old Parents!! Bob and I were somewhat saddened to see soooo many cruise ships and Damn Tourists...Cozumel has really changed since our first trip done in 95. I think the number of people is taking its toll on the reef as well. But I appreciate that the economy is so much healthier than it was years ago, which is good for the residents. We certainly hope to remain on your "preferred guest list" as Bob and I would love to go back (without the kids!) And we will definately recommend to our (trusted) friends to check your website for availability if they are planning a trip. Thank you again! Bob and JackieDid you find this review helpful? I couldn't believe my eyes when I walked through the door. I felt like one of those kids on the Real World when they first walk into their multi-million dollar suite that has every luxury they could possibly ask for. Needless to say this was the best family vacation ever. It didn't matter if we all went out or stayed in, there was always plenty to do, and the atmosphere was so relaxing. It was very hard to adjust to not being able to fall asleep to the sound of the ocean back here in the States. We stayed for two weeks, and I wish we could've stayed two more.Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 0/0

I had the best vacation of my life at Vista Dulce! My daughters and I stayed there for two glorious weeks. The accomodations were fantastic...better than home! The DVD player with surround sound was awesome too. The views of the turquoise carribean water was spellbinding, as were the sunsets. We were sad to leave, and hope to return someday. Staying in a condo-villa is a far better value than a hotel.Vista Dulce and Cozumel are numero uno in my book! A superior choice of vacation options.Did you find this review helpful? Ok...it is hard to please 3 guys with a week off from families, but as soon as we walked in the door, we just said..."home run". The amenities were excellent, and the view was great. We dived with Aldora, and after long bottom times every day for a week, we welcomed coming "home" to #402. I even told my wife that she would love it. I rate our experience as no less than a "10". We will be back...!Owner response: We sure hope so!

My husband and I had the pleasure of spending 10 days at VISTA DULCE in Cozumel late January/early February of this year. WHAT A PLACE! The view, the sea breezes, and sounds of the ocean, while swaying in the hammocks or sitting having coffee on the deck, were all such treats to the senses. We were able to keep the windows and patio doors open the entire time- no need for air conditioning. The owners, Ledge and Janey (who I have never met but with whom I feel a kindred spirit), have paid incredible attention to detail in both the decor and functionality of this condo. They have provided a beautiful space with all the amenities of home. The kitchen has delightful tropically colored dishes and everything you could possibly need- microwave, coffeemaker, toaster, even a juicer for your fresh morning OJ. Throughout the condo, we found everything we needed. Having a washer/dryer was great- we'll lug less clothing next time. As a destination, Cozumel offers great flexibility. Restaurants range from gourmet to quaint to fun- or you can shop the bakeries and markets for intimate "at home" meals. You have the ability to to completely relax in a beautiful setting or "run your socks off" diving, snorkeling, fishing, golfing, and shopping. This was a terrific vacation. Thanks, Ledge and Janey, for sharing your oasis! NikkiDid you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 0/0

I went to Vista Dulce for my spring break with five of my sorority sisters. I had one of the best vacations ever! Everyday we sat by the pool and read our books and just relaxed in the sun. A couple of nights we went out on the town but we also stayed in and watched DVDs and listened to music. A couple afternoons we played cards and sat on the balcony so that we could enjoy the unbelievable view of the ocean. I also went snorkeling for the fist time right on the beach outside the condo. We had all the emenities we could ask for from long white robes to lounge around in to cable TV and plenty of DVDs to choose from. We had the best time and can't wait to go back. Let me be perfectly candid in disclosing that Las Brisas is owned by one of my brothers, Ledge Brady. No matter, this place is absolutely fantastic. Two of my daughters and I visited for a week in March. The weather was ideal and the people were overly friendly and helpful. We scuba dived, swam with the dolphins, sat by the pool and on the beach, went out to eat multiple times at great restaurants of every variety imaginable, and, otherwise just hung out in this gorgeous condo, with stunning views and every possible amenity. My brother is a bit of a fanatic, so there is not much he has not provided, including an aesthetically pleasing decor, a fully-equipped kitchen, TV, DVD, CD, plus multiple CD's DVD's and books for your use. We didn't even need the central air conditioning. At night, I opened the sliding glass door, turned on the ceiling fan and was lulled to sleep by the sound of waves lapping on the beach. How cool is that? Las Brisas is also well located -- close to town, but far enough away to avoid the daily hubbub and noise. The evening sunsets were spectacular. I would strongly encourage you to try Las Brisas. You won't be disappointed!Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 0/0

This place is as good as it gets...about 10 minutes from the airport...an easy stroll or a 5 minute cab ride to the center of town, where you can find some of the best Mexican food you haveever tasted (a sumptuous meal for $3), and great little shops. Las Brisas is north of the city center on a quiet palm tree- lined highway. The condo is a two towered structure, with only one open airy unit per floor. This one occupies the entire fourth floor of the left tower. It has with three bedrooms, one facing the lush jungle and two very large bedrooms with decks overlooking the secluded beach and the sea. A large outdoor swimming pool is also available. The deck is the size of Montana, where you can have breakfast, lunch, or sit back sat back, drinks in hand, watching the orange sun set into the Caribbean, leaving a trail of tangerine waves in its wake. At night, the lights from the big cruise ships headed for ports unknown made me secretly pleased that we had our own private paradise. There is a fully equipped kitchen, with everything you will ever need. Wonderful decor, each room with its own featured artist or theme posters(Monet, O’Keefe, Warhol and Johns). The living room features both a breathtaking view of the Carribean, an amazing home theater system with surround sound system for videos or CD’s, and a great selection of both. You have but a few steps out to the warmest, clearest water you can imagine, with truly unbelievable snorkeling, like National Geographic come to life. The diving is convenient and legendary but I’m not a diver, I’ve just heard tales.I wanted to stay forever, or even longer. I can’t wait to go back. Dear Margaret: Just a quick note to tell you how much we enjoyed the VISTA DULCE condo where we stayed at Las Brisas. Would it be possible to get word to the owner to let him know that we appreciated all the perfect details--the 100% cotton linens (including matlasse coverlets for beds), the beautiful tiles (especially in the bathrooms), the wonderful kitchen (with REAL knives--and everything we could possibly need), the fantastic mexican pottery EVERYWHERE, the comfortable furniture and the thick terry cotton robes to boot!!!--we had everything we needed and the entire condo was asthetically pleasing to us (which is saying a lot). We also appreciated the wonderful maid service & help from Veronica. Many Thanks for a Great Vacation! Sincerely, Susan WitzDid you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 0/0
