We rented this property (the main 6 bdr. house) for a large family gathering to celebrate my husband's 60th and son's 30th Brithday's. We had family staying at hotels and our own home in Paso, but we stayed at this property with our 6 grown children and their spouses/partners. It was PERFECT! We usually have a tough time finding a property large enough to accomodate all of us comfortably, but Paradise Ranch did just that. During the day, our other family members would come out to the Ranch and join in on our weekend celebration. We had a total of 25 people and the home was truly comfortable for all of us during the daytime activities. We played darts, bocce ball, cooked and just hung out till the wee hours of the night and it was a truly wonderful weekend. The home is warm and inviting, and the kitchen was great for cooking in large quantities and for an easy buffet along the back window. The meals, for 25, were made much easier because of the large kitchen. We had 2 little ones in our group and the play ground was perfect for them. The pool was fenced so no worries about that. We will definitely be back to Paradise Ranch in the near future.....possibly for a wine tasting weekend. We had such a good time at the house we didn't want to leave! Thanks Robert.

We had a wonderful stay. The property is perfect for families with young children: pool is gated, lots of room to run around, playground, sandbox, and playhouse. We enjoyed using the theater room for as a play room for the kids and a movie room for the parents once the kids were in bed. Robert was extremely helpful and accommodating. We will definitely be staying here again in the future.

We rented the main house which is 6br/5ba place and was fabulous for our families. We had families coming from Los Angeles and from the San Francisco Bay Area so was a perfect mid point. There are plenty of wineries nearby and with the property being so big we just mainly stayed at the house. All the bedrooms are spacious and the master bedroom fit my family of five easily. There is also a library off the master that served as a seventh bedroom for us. The bathrooms were so nicely stocked. The kitchen with the center island was huge and we were able to cook Christmas dinner that served 17. They have dogs and horses that the kids loved and a tennis court and basketball court to keep the older kids busy. They also have a kids playground and a two story playhouse. The family room is actually set up as a theater with a projection screen and was great for movies. They also have cable so the sports fans were happy. I was initially worried about the water situation from a previous review but it is actually not an issue. The water is well water and is perfectly safe to drink, bathe and cook with but just tastes minerally so they in addition provide bottled water - water coolers. We also headed to the beach one day to Morro Bay which was not more than 40 minutes away. The only thing is when we were there it was really cold - winter time - so you may need to bring one more blanket for the room next to the kitchen. Otherwise it was a great trip and we will definitely be back again!

My wife and I went to Paso Robles with a group of 6 friends for a wedding a couple of weeks ago and have talked about the trip just about everyday since we've returned. We had a magnificent trip largely in part because of the wonderful accommodations on Paradise Ranch. We have already talked about how anxious we are to go back and stay at Paradise Ranch. Robert was wonderful. He checked in on us daily, but gave us our space. We feel in love with his three dogs and slept like babies in the wonderful master bedroom in the detached house. We can not wait to go back.

What an amazing place to stay. Robert was so helpful and kind. The drive out to the property is a bit of a distance, but the quiet is worth it. We will definitely be back again.

Last June I graduated from Cal Poly. As the first of the family to graduate from a university, practically the entire family wanted to attend. Family members drove from the north as far as Sacramento, as far east as Las Vegas and as far south as Orange County. It worked out great to have the family all at one location and car pool to the graduation. The place is very spacious, clean and very modern. (we loved the decorating, new counter tops and remodeled baths) We rented both the detached unit and several rooms in the house. There was always a bathroom available. The grounds are gorgeous and provide diverse access. There is a playgound, sandpit for kids, but also a flat cemented walkway around the garden for grandma's wheelchair. Access for the elderly in the detatched unit is great. Internet access and tv a plus. The kitchen in the detached unit saved us big time from eating out with a HUGE group of people. Having been raised in a Bed and Breakfast, hospitality standards are well known to my family. The owners were amazing. The place impeccable. Highly reccomend! Will definately stay again...

I'm at a loss for words. Honestly this was a fantastic place to stay while in Paso Robles for our wedding at Pear Valley Vineyards (about a 10 minute drive away). We ended up renting both the big house and the 2 bedroom house. There were about 40 people attending our wedding and we had over 7 couples (plus 5 children) staying here with us directly. The house was a great gathering place for all of the guests to come socialize and get to know each other. We hosted a Friday night dinner and Sunday morning brunch for everyone that attended the wedding. The best compliment I can say is that we never felt trapped or that we were stepping on each other. The rooms were all very spacious and never a wait for a bathroom! And the beds were so comfortable that it definitely made getting up hard to do. Robert was a great host and stopped to check on us but gave us ample space to explore and have fun. Not only would we recommend the Paradise Ranch to others but we are already talking about returning and staying here again ourselves.

We made last minute reservations earlier this month and took advantage of the winter special. We couldn't have been more happy that we did. My husband and I were in town for a birthday celebration with my son and his wife and child. They couldn't really afford a hotel room, and the idea of sharing a room between the five of us didn't appeal to me. So I stumbled across Paradise Ranch and we got to enjoy luxury accommodations for less than the price of a hotel room. The newly renovated 2 bedroom unit was beyond our expectations. It was very spacious and well appointed. The pictures accurately reflect it's style. We only wish we had more time to enjoy it. It is central to visiting the east side wineries which can easily take a couple of days. One of our faves, Still Waters Vineyards is just up the road.

My wife and I stayed at the 2BR guest house for one week this January. Robert and Nancy are great hosts. They have renovated the guest house with taste and attention to detail. We enjoyed our stay, and our lab didn't want to leave after ruling the ranch with Casey and Roxane, the owner's dogs. We were able to visit many great wineries (many close by), travel to the ocean and the Hearst Castle, and enjoy quiet evenings around the ranch. A wonderful stay and we hope to return.

We stayed at the Paradise ranch house over Christmas weekend and are very pleased with our stay. Our Border Collie definitely gives the ranch 5 stars, she also had a blast. If you love to travel with your dog, enjoy having a cozy place to retreat to, this is it. We travel very frequently (9 months of the year) and stay in hotels for business so this home atmosphere was a welcome break from the impersonal hotel style living. Yes, there is the occasional bug, but when you are on a ranch and there is livestock in the area, you should be concerned, if you saw none… But if you love being away from it all, a country setting, taking your dog along, genuine people and a more personal home-style accommodation, this is it. The bed is heavenly, the quality and layout of the house is perfect. It was especially nice to have our own private garage and entrance to the house (it worked well with the rainy weather/wet dog). Do bring slippers and robes so you can snuggle up on the couch in front of the fireplace. Don’t bring attitude; these are hard working honest hosts who are doing their best. The only negative thing we can say about our stay is that we didn’t want to leave! . We look forward to our next visit to Paradise Ranch. Thank you, Robert!
