Sunshine, mid 80's and a great home to return to after a day of power shopping and golf.

The Reza Carefree rental property is great! The large shaded porch was a unanimous choice for our daily brunch and evening dinner. The high country-style sprawling layout provided both social and private space for the two (2) couples who resided in May-05.

The TV-room, outdoor grill and well appointed gourmet kitchen provided the comfort of home in Arizona.

My husband, the jazz flutist Herbie Mann, and I stayed in this wonderful property for nearly nearly two months in the Spring of 2003. My husband was dying and we had left our New Mexico home to spend time in Arizona's lower altitude. We found Reza's property on the internet and there could not have been a better place for Herbie and me during those last precious months. The home is very comfortable and tastefully furnished. The setting is stupendous - very private and quiet with thriving flora and fauna. I highly recommend this property and the surrounding environs of Carefree.

Home Description;

A very nice 3700 square foot home in a quiet Carefree neighborhood. The home also has a pool table and a piano. There is a wet bar for your enjoyment. The family room is equipped with a 61-inch TV, a 26" Plasma TV with Built-in DVD player, Cable TV, and great sound system. There is also a DVD player and VCR and a DVD / VHS movie library with over 100 popular movie titles.

The master bedroom has a gas fireplace and is equipped with a 27-inch TV with built-in VCR and DVD and Cable TV.

There is a large gas fireplace in the family room.

There is a game room with a pool table.

Outside you will find a very nice large patio with infinite views of mountains and beautiful sunsets. There is a large pool, seating area, and outdoor grill for your outdoor enjoyment. A beautiful water feature, flagstone path and many planters really make a great place to spend time.

There are mountain bikes provided on site for your use. Many mountain bike and hiking paths are within a short distance from the home.

The area around Phoenix, Arizona is affectionately called "the Valley of the Sun." The region sees sunshine on average 325 days a year. When the east coast is freezing, The Valley of the Sun is a nice, balmy 80 degrees or so.

Golfers make the pilgrimage in droves to the Valley of the Sun. With over 200 courses to choose from, the area is fast becoming a favorite golf destination in the entire United States. For incredible views in addition to a stiff test of golfing skill, try the Boulders Resort...only minutes from the home. Designed by Jay Moorish, the Boulders cannot be beat for desert vistas.

The TPC of Scottsdale, designed by Moorish and Tom Weiskopf, is home each year to the FBR/Phoenix Open. The Pete Dye designed ASU-Karsten Golf Course, is part of Arizona State University, and mixes undulating greens with tricky tee shots to produce a good test of golfing skill. Note: These are only a few of the courses in the region. There are hundreds of others, all offering interesting challenges.

This is a great place for an outdoor vacation. A day's itinerary can include hiking, golfing, tennis, sight-seeing, shopping, or just lounging by a pool and watching the world go by. Culturally, the area is a hub of creativity. Museums, live theatre, art galleries, and historical sights are all woven into the fiber of the intriguing atmosphere.

The desert surrounding the Valley of the Sun offers a quiet beauty that resonates with an echo of the past. Hikers will want to hike the trails up the Camelback Mountain or Squaw Peak. The hikes are steep, but the rewards are great. Camelback Mountain, in particular, is the highest peak in the city, and one of the most popular trails in the vicinity.
