My wife & I spent our 2nd half vacation here after staying in Depoe Bay for 7 days prior. Excellent location, views and a well-kept unit on the 3rd floor. No elevator, NO problem. This is one of the best units in the complex as you don't have other people looking into the unit or even on the balcony. Property management very responsive and thorough. We will return, hopefully in 2012. Nice hikes up & down the coast from here and some excellent restaurants in Brookings to frequent.

We rented this unit for three nights in August and really enjoyed it. The weather was fantastic and the area was great. Toured the redwoods, rode the Rogue River jet boat, and ate lots of fresh seafood. This is a top floor unit and has a much higher ceiling than the units on the other two floors along with a large skylight in the hallway. Much prefer it to the lower floors and the view is better. You do have to walk up however, no elevator. Good value for the money. Go for it!

What a wonderful place! The view is magnificent and the accommodation were great! We truly enjoyed our stay in this picturesque condo on the bluff. We are long time enjoyers of the Oregon coast and particularly enjoyed this visit, mostly because of staying here! Thanks!

Your home was a very pleasant surprise after finding it on the internet...Even BETTER than the pictures! :) The ocean views are amazing and we loved the beach trails..The grassy trails are perfect for rainy day hiking. Thank you for a fun pace for our Thanksgiving holiday with family in Brookings.

Upon walking into condo view is absolutely breath-taking & sitting area is the best place to just veg out. Ate at O'Hallarans(excellent), Wild River Pizza, and Spinners. Drove down to Eureka thru Redwood Forest both coastal(down)& highway(return). Plan to spend more time exploring another time. Ate at Lost Coast Brewery in Eureka, great place. Checked out Harris Beach for a 2nd time since Sept. 07 scenic& and just a great beach to hike and chill out.

Upon entering the condo and seeing the view of the coast line we were just mesmerized and couldn't help but sit there numerous times a day. Sunshine all 3 days was a definite plus as well. Clean, quiet and comfortable. Property management quick to respond when we couldn't figure out how to get the TV to work (yes, we did watch some TV in the late evening). Path to the beach gave us some more great photo ops. Last several steps on to the beach a bit tricky but worth it. Try Spinners (Gold Beach) and O'Halloran's (Brookings) for dinner. Both were excellent. Harris Beach State Park has a great beach area to spend some time. Cape Blanco lighthouse was fun to tour and they actually had balmy weather as well which is not usually the case.

Fabulous vistas, stupendous storms! Thank you for sharing your piece of paradise with us. We have been vacationing in this area for over 10 years. The original O'Hollarans was one of the reasons we fell in love with Brookings. We are still fans. This time we tried Panchos (after buying their salsa at Fred Meyers last October) and liked it. Low tide at Lone Ranch Beach was truly scenic.

This condo was my 65th birthday get away. It was great. Family and friends came by to enjoy the views, walks to the beach and festivities. We had one great day with no rain over the weekend and took full advantage of it by going to the Harbor and buying crabs for our own crab feed that night. Great place.

What a great place! The view is spectacular! (As you already know if you are staying here) Low tide is the best for going through the cave and exploring the tide pools. We saw plenty of starfish and tons of hermit crabs! Grab some kettle corn on saturday down at the farmers market(Brookings Harbor) Yum! Harris beach is also wonderful if you dont want to make the trek down the private beach we'll be back next year! thanks :)

This has been such a great place to get away to. Spectacular view, v with all the comforts of home. We had a wonderful walk far down the beach at low tide- lots of bright colored starfish, anemones, and a couple of surprises: sea otters in the rock pools, a bird we later identified as a black oyster-catcher(bright red bill) and of all, a gumboot chitin, large red slug-like creature in a tide pool! We made good use of the telescope, no whales, but we enjoyed the colony of birds on the flat rocky island- we think they are nesting murres( a bazaar seems to be the right word) Thank you for sharing this special place with us!

We loved this condo, it has a beautiful view and the condo is nicley furnished. With this condo you don't have a huge cleaning deposit or deposit. I would highly recommend the Whale Watcher.

We loved our spring break get away. the condo was clean, accomadating and we loved the beach access. However, we ran out of T.P. and dishwasher soap. and there were no trash bags for the kitchen so we had to go buy the items. I also discoverd by the third day that the garbage disposal was leaking as the carpeting by the sink was all wet, but I cleaned it all up and placed a bucket underneath the leak. But all and all it was really fun for us as a family and we would like to perhaps return another time. Thanks for everything, Sue Rothe
