This is a great cabin, exceptionally well decorated and cared for. The owners seemed to think of everything to make it welcoming. Very quiet and scenic area. We hope to be back.

My husband and I stayed here for two nights in the begining of August. Our stay was very pleasant. We did have a couple concerns though. When we went to use the jetted tub we ran out of hot water before it was full, then when we turned the jets on a bunch of stuff blew out of them. We decided to pass on the tub. Also it was so hot it would have been nice to have some air conditioning, at least they had plenty of fans for us to use. The grills that were there for us to use could have been cleaner, the scraper looked like it was melted down so we couldnt use it to clean. All in all this place was nice. The house itself was clean and cozy. I really liked how it was layed out and decorated. The view of the river was beautiful.
Owner response:Thank you for your comments. We will definitely check out the jetted tub. Never sure how much it gets used. It was a very warm summer and we will be installing an attic fan which should help. The grills will get checked more frequently and the new scapers are already in place.

Our family of five stayed here for three nights in July 2010. We were looking for something quiet and without close neighbors and we were not disappointed. The cabin is of fairly new construction and furnished nicely. Plenty of towels, blankets, soaps, etc which sometimes can be problem with vacation rentals. We were visiting relatives in the area so didn't take advantage of the river or local activities. The cabin is perched high on a bluff overlooking the river so immediate access to the river would be difficult but we did see access points very close. I was concerned about cell reception but it worked fine. We use VRBO extensively for our vacations and would not hesitate to use this place again. Reasonable rental rate, no disappointments.
Owner response:Thank you for your nice comments. We are glad you enjoyed your stay.
