Beautiful Three Bedrooms- One Block from the Picasso Museum
- Minimum stay:3 nights
- Internet:Yes
- Pets allowed:No
- Wheel chair accessible:No
19th Century hat factory converted with art and style into a sophisticated apartment in the heart of the Marais.
Just one block from the Picasso Museum this apartment was completely renovated in 2007. It is detailed with taste and thoroughly modern in comfort and amenities. See photos below.
The 3 Bedroom option is a combination of our 2 Bedroom apartment and the adjacent 1 Bedroom apartment. There are 3 bathrooms, and two fully equipped open “American” kitchens. There is both stair and elevator access to the quiet second floor (American 3rd floor). The two units combined into the 3 Bedroom arrangement offer 110 square meters in size (1200+ square feet).
Located on the serene street, rue de Thorigny, the apartment was laid out and designed with meticulous attention to every detail. We have incorporated custom furnishings, antiques and original art. Traditional floor to ceiling windows over look the street flooding the living and dining areas with light. The bedrooms are located at the back of the apartment and have windows for excellent cross-ventilation, built-in closets, high quality linens, brand new mattresses and their own bathrooms.
Here is what our first tenant said. “Let me say that the apartment is absolutely wonderful, and I will tell the world about it, believe me! It was just so comfortable, and aesthetically just perfect down to the last detail – you have great taste!”
Upon arrival, we will meet you to give you the keys, show you the apartment and be available should questions arise during your stay. A free pick-up is included in the price of the rental.
At the apartment you will find our personalized handbook which will have tips for enjoying the neighborhood, a list of our favorite restaurants, emergency numbers and instructions for using the appliances. The rental price includes everything except for possible extra phone charges although most calls are free even those to the U.S.
LOCATION:
Our location is extraordinary with great restaurants, art galleries and fashionable shops at your doorstep. There are narrow streets that have not changed for centuries. You will be 1 block from the Picasso Museum, an easy walk to Place des Vosges, the Musee Carnavalet and the Pompidou Center. It is an easy stroll to Notre Dame and the Left Bank. Rue de Bretagne, famous for its food purveyors and its historic covered market “Enfants Rouges” is a few short blocks away.
TRANSPORTATION:
Excellent access to the metro. St. Sebastien Froissart is the closest metro stop - about a 5 minute walk.
Bus service is excellent as well.

We just returned from our great trip to Paris. Your apartment in the Marais was perfect for us. There were three couples who used the apartment as our base. We walked to everything! The apartment is well stocked, a great location, quiet and nicely appointed. It was so nice to return to a "home" in the evening and be able to walk to numerous bistros/restaurants nearby in the evening. Metro stops are near and easy to use. We will certainly recommend your apartment to anyone we know planning a trip to Paris.Recommended for: Tourists without a car, families with teenagers, girls getaway, romantic getaway, sightseeing, age 55+.

We rented the connecting apartments for our group of six -- two children (4 and 12), two parents, and two grandparents. The layout gave us the best combination of togetherness and privacy. The apartments were comfortable and impeccably clean and fully furnished. We appreciated being able to do laundry as needed. There was no need to bring guidebooks -- so many different resources available in the apartment. It is worth noting that the apartment was particularly well set up for travellers who want a more comfortable setting. An elevator eased moving luggage and tired tourists upstairs. Bathrooms were ultra modern and well lit. The dishes and kitchen gear made food preparation and clean up easy. Bedding was high quality and very comfortable. All the comforts of home were provided, including hair dryers, laundry soap, books, plenty of wine glasses, and lamps. Gaela offered a warm welcome and we appreciated the car service from the airport. The apartments are managed in a highly professional and gracious way, and the rental process was made very easy by Gaela and Michele. For breakfast, we made coffee and enjoyed pastries from one of several local bakeries and fruit and yogurt from the shops on Rue de Bretagne. Poilane is just a few blocks away (try the tartines and the punitions) and Breizh Cafe and Epicerie were favorites. With a quick walk to the metro, we could be all over Paris with ease. The neighborhood was wonderful -- a great mix of old and new. Galleries and shops, traiteurs and cafes, supermarkets and pharmacies, Jacques Genin just a short walk one direction and Musee Carnavalet the other. Two playgrounds within 5 minutes walk and Place de Vosges just beyond. We loved being away from the masses of tourists also enjoying Paris and appreciated the quiet of the neighborhood. We have already recommended the apartments to friends and family who are thinking about upcoming trips to Paris and we would stay there again without hesitation. Thanks very much to the great team of hosts.Recommended for: Tourists without a car, families with young children, families with teenagers, girls getaway, romantic getaway, sightseeing, age 55+.

What a wonderful apartment! Very spacious for a Paris apartment with updated bathrooms! Very quiet area yet close to metro and grocery store and many wonderful restaurants and shopping! Great shopping on Rue Des Rosiers nearby! We booked both apartments for a family of 5 with 3 children, ages 8, 11, and 12, along with my 70 year old mother! There was plenty of space for all of us. The apartment was very clean and had everything you needed to eat there if necessary, blow dry your hair, and do laundry! The description and pictures accurately portrayed the apartment! Gaela was very helpful in booking transportation to and from train stations and airport for us and answering all of questions before arriving and upon arrival! Plus checking in with us while we were there! Would highly recommend this property to family and friends and would stay there again ourselves.Recommended for: Tourists without a car, families with young children, families with teenagers, girls getaway, romantic getaway, sightseeing, age 55+.

My family (7 people) recently stayed at the apartment for 4 nights. We required use of the two adjoining apartments. We all felt the apartments were fantastic. Firstly, the location was in the very desirable Marais district with excellent shopping and cafes. The Metro was about a 5 minute walk. The apartments were extremely comfortable, clean and stocked with all the usual amenities a family would require including multiple travel books about Paris. Bathrooms were modern. Gaela was very attentive to our needs and was always available to help us. I would highly recommend these apartments and I have already done so to some of my friends who frequently travel to Paris.Recommended for: Tourists without a car, families with young children, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, sightseeing, age 55+.

Lovely place! There were four of us (mother and my two nieces) and we were very comfortable. A driver picked us up and Gaela met us to give us a tour. She was always available to us and very friendly. The apartment was quiet and clean. Such a wonderful location. The BEST shopping, restaurants and open air markets nearby. Rented Velib bikes for Paris Respire on Sunday. We felt right at home. Cafe de Musees on the Rue de Turenne was incredible. Blocks away. And many galleries on the street; we loved watching the artist and gallery crowd.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, tourists without a car, families with teenagers, girls getaway, romantic getaway, sightseeing, age 55+.
Owner response: Thank you for your nice comments, I am so glad that you and your family had a nice stay with us. Hopefully we can greet you on one of your next trips back to Paris!!
