This location is nice and quiet....quick walk to and from the beach. Just a short drive to lots of great restaurants.
The Unique Benefits at this House
We love the time with family and friends just hangin out either on the back deck or underneath in the hammock swing. It is always a cool breeze underneath no matter how hot the summer days get. The outside shower is such a refreshing way to wash off after a dip in the ocean.
Owner's Map of Kitty Hawk
We are local folks that purchased "Ocean Breeze" back in 2001. I was born and raised in Currituck County and the beach has always been a part of my life. As a child we made weekend trips to the beach where I loved to swim and surf fish. The purchase of Ocean Breeze was a goal to one day have a place of our own at the beach. However we do depend on our rental guest to help us keep it going.....and we enjoy it when we can in the off season. We have completely remodeld Ocean Breeze from the inside out during the past 9 years. We manage the rental ourselves and truly enjoy meeting our guest as they arrive. We are fortunate that over 1/2 of our guest are repeats year after year and have made many new friends. We hope you enjoy the beach and Ocean Breeze as much as we do.

BEST. VACATION. EVER! Clean, inviting, fully stocked, steps from the beach, home away from home. We travel to the OBX every summer from Albuquerque, NM. We're renting again in July of 2012! Perfect. I highly recommend this home!

We stayed here right after my husband returned from Iraq. It has everything you need and more...The owners are amazing made the trip wonderful for David, my two kids and I we had a few friends drop in and stay and never ran out of room...VERY CLEAN, beach is a quick walk. My favorite part was the down stairs "chillin area" we loved putting the kids to bed and hanging out listening to music and enjoying so much needed adult time. I WILL RENT HERE AGAIN!!!

The accomodations for our family of 3 adults and 3 children were perfect.The home was beautiful and had everything you needed.We were close to everything for shopping, groceries ect... Thank you so much for sharing your beautiful home to create lasting memeories. We are looking forward to staying again.The week was just the cure to destress and have a great time.

Fantastic setting - the house has everything you need - Johnny even stopped by to make sure we were all okay on Saturday. Nicely remodeled with very comfortable bedrooms. Not like most rentals that are bare bones...this was one of the most comfortably set up homes I've ever stayed in off of VRBO. And comes complete with plenty of beach chairs, boogie boards, kayaks etc...couldn't ask for more!

The house is conveniently located for attractions and restaurants. It has excellent access to a private beach. Much equipment supplied for the beach. The house is well kept and well supplies. It was the perfect size for our group of 4 adults and 3 children. Friendly owners. Highly recommended.

It was a girls weekend at Ocean Breeze couldn't have asked for a better place to stay. The cottage had all the comforts of home as well as the owners had stopped in to make sure we found everything ok and answered questions and recommendations too. We would definitely love to come back again.

This house is so well equiped that it got to be a game with our family. What obscure thing is missing? We decided coffee grinder and garlic press and I am sure they will be there next year! This is the best vacation home we have stayed in. It is so well laid out that even with 5 adults and a 7yr old, we never felt crowded. Clearly Johnny and Lynn have spent a great deal of time thinking of their guests' comfort and even provided extras like lawn chairs,umbrellas and bogie boards. The house is quiet and an easy walk to the beach. If only they could do something about the dreadful traffic to and from OBX. Once you get there it is quiet and relaxing. I am coming back!

We had a wonderful time at Ocean Breeze. The cottage is cute and cozy, extremely clean, and the recently remodeled kitchen is well stocked with equipment. The owners are very friendly and they have thought of just about everything needed to make a family comfortable. When the heat from the sun gets to be too much, a quiet escape in a hammock is located under the house. Located in a quiet area off of the main drag, it's a short walk to the beach and there is shopping and dining at your fingertips. This lovely house was the cornerstone of a great vacation and we talked the entire week about trying to make plans to return next year.

We have rented this house for one week in July for four years and have thoroughly enjoyed our stay each time. The owners are very concerned with your comfort and are easily accessible during your stay should you need to contact them. The house is extremely comfortable and very well-equipped.
