Villa Collelungo is situated only a few meters from Castellina in Chianti, in the heart of the famous area, renown for its beauty and its exquisite wine. This property has a breathtaking view from the hilltop, overlooking the forests of Chianti. This splendid property is immersed in property grounds of 82 hectares, the majority of which is vine yards, olive groves and beautiful natural forests ideal for long care free walks under the protective shade of the numerous secular tree.
Within a short distance from the property there is an antique farm, and a small carefully restored hamlet where guests can purchase oil and wine produced directly by the owners. The external area, outside the kitchen is equipped with built in barbecue, where guests can enjoy a pleasure “al fresco” meals whilst taking in the surrounding area.
The hillside position of the property guarantees the ideal temperature for a relaxing vacation, whereas the strategic location of Villa Collelungo is the perfect starting point for memorable excursions to locations in the Chianti area such as Castellina, Radda and Greve, not to mention cities of Art like Florence or Siena.
PARK: The garden surrounding the property extends to about one hectare and is decorated with a beautifully kept lawn and secular trees. A panoramic and shaded portico offers the possibility to have your breakfast outdoors or enjoying a good glass of wine whilst relaxing with a great book in perfect tranquility.
SWIMMING POOL: The pool is situated about 6 meters from the property and is equipped with sun loungers and sun beds. This beautiful pool measures 7 x 15 with a variable depth from 1,30 to 2,40 meters. The pool is open from the last Saturday in April to the first Saturday in October.
INTERIORS: The villa is divided onto two floors. From the main entrance situated on the ground floor, underneath the portico one enters directly into the living room with fireplace. On the right hand side of the living room, there is the dining room, from which by going down a few steps one can reach one of the two kitchens. Also from the living room one can access one of the double bedrooms with en-suite bathroom (with bath tub).
Also from this side of the property there is the internal staircase which leads to the ground floor. This floor is made up of two double bedrooms, one with en-suite bathroom (with tub) and the other with en suite bathroom with shower, and of one twin bedroom with en-suite bathroom (with tub). Also on this floor there is a fully equipped kitchen. From all the bedrooms one can access the beautiful garden.
SERVICES INCLUDED: electricity (up to € 50,00 per week), water, gas for coking purposes, weekly linen, initial and final cleaning, maintenance of the pool and park.
COMPULSORY SERVICES NOT INCLUDED (supplied and to be paid locally to the owner): electricity (more than the minimum stated above), heating (based on the up to date market prices), additional cleaning due to the presence of animals (€ 30,00 per week).
SERVICES UPON REQUEST (supplied and payable locally to the owner): extra cleaning (€ 20,00/hour), extra linen(€ 15,00/person), wood (€ 15,00/100 kg).

- The historical region of Chianti which is situated right in the centre of Tuscany, between North of Florence, Siena and the South of Arezzo and finally east of the towns of Castellina in Chianti, Radda in Chianti and Gaiole in Chianti. The proximity of the airports Florence, Pisa and e allow easy access to this region as does the motorway A1 exit at Valdarno and Valdichiana which easily connects the hamlets in the Chianti area, Radda, Greve, Castellina, Volpaia etc. and the rest of Tuscany This area is also reachable with public transport, either via bus or train. The closes train stations are Florence, Montevarchi and Siena.
