Nestled on the majestic hillsides that surround playa Ocotal, in Guanacaste, this property is a vacationers dream. With artistic landscaping, breathtaking views and a private swimming pool. This fully furnished upscale chateau with 4 bedrooms and 4.5 bathrooms is perfect for both a large family gathering or a romantic getaway. If you choose to stay at "Casa de Coco" you will be steps away from local restaurants, scuba diving, boating and the wonderful Playa Ocotal. With a gated entrance and a parking garage, it guarantees a quiet, restful and relaxing vacation.
There are four bedrooms, with three of them located on the second floor and the master bedroom located on the first floor. All bedrooms have an air conditioning unit and a ceiling fan, operated by remotes. There is a full size private bathroom in each bedroom.
Two of the upstairs bedrooms have queen and balconies with ocean views. The third upstairs bedroom has two twin size beds, which can be converted into a queen size bed if necessary.
The master bedroom, located on the first floor, has a full bathroom with a spa tub, a separate shower and two sinks. The bedroom is quite spacious with very large closet space. This master bedroom has a king size bed and exit doors to a terrace and the swimming pool area.
If you stay in this house you will enjoy the spectacular views from the balconies, swim in the pool, lay in the sun privately or just walk to the beach.
Playa Ocotal is a calm, sandy beach about a third of a mile long. It is the cleanest and quietest beach in the area. It is ideal for swimming, snorkeling, hot springs, massages and other outdoor activities. If you enjoy nightlife, a short drive away is Coco Beach (Playa de Coco), with its bars and restaurants and lively Costa Rican atmosphere. Playa Hermosa is also nearby. You can also visit Tamarindo, Limon, San Jose or Arenal with its famous volcano.
More about the Location: Playa Ocotal is approximately 500 meters (1,500 feet) from the house and accessible by foot or car. It is approximately a 5-10 minute walk.
A car rental is strongly recommended as it will allow you to visit neighboring attractions. Besides the nearby Coco and Hermosa beaches, a short drive away you will also find Limon, the capital San Jose and Arenales with its famous volcanoes. The touristy town of Tamarindo is about 40 minutes away driving.
There are about 10 car rental agencies at both the Liberia and San Jose airports. They are all similar in price, which varies according to different exchange rates but are generally affordable.

Other nearby points of interest include Arenal Volcano, Tabacon Hot Springs, Tempisque river tour, Congo Trail Canopy, Corobici River Float, Los Inocentes Ranch, Rincon de la Vieja Volcano as well as a choice of canopy tours.
Surf spots in the Guanacaste region include: Witches Rock or Ollie’s Point on Playa Naranjo, the beaches of Playa Langosta, Playa Avellana, Playa Negra and Playa Grande. Playa Avellana and Playa Negra were made famous when the film Endless Summer II was shot here.
