Our hillside casa is situated in an enclave of private residences in the quiet neighborhood of El Centenario, 15 minutes outside of La Paz and 10 minutes from the La Paz international airport. Excellent neighborhood restaurants, cafes and local beaches are nearby.
Built in the traditional colonial style, the home is all on one level with tiled floors. There is an ample great room with cupola and french doors to the poolside patio. There is a sparkling, solar-warmed plunge-pool just steps from the living room or master bedroom. From the dining area, there are french doors leading to a tiled patio and outdoor BBQ.
Two good-sized bedrooms with ensuite bathrooms. Ample closets and storage space available. The kitchen is well stocked with cooking utensils, crockery and glasses. In addition, there is a laundry room with washer and dryer. Ceiling fans in both bedrooms and AC available in the great room and bedrooms.
Nearby La Paz offers a variety of restaurants, with choices ranging from traditional local cuisine and lots of excellent seafood. Grocery stores and specialty shops abound. The local Tortilleria is very good! Walk for miles along the delightful seaside "malecon" of La Paz enjoying ocean breezes from the bay and endless views of the bay or stop at one of the many excellent cafes, bars or restaurants to enjoy the views.
The best swimming beaches are a few minutes drive outside of La Paz - they are famous for their crystal-clear waters and white sand. Todos Santos and Cabo San Lucas are easy day-trips. Fishing, snorkeling, sailing, kayaking and hiking are very popular choices for visitors to this part of Baja. There is ferry service to the mainland from La Paz. On nearby Mogote there is a golf course.
Our home is ideal for two to four people. It is an excellent choice for escaping the winter months and longer rentals may be arranged for January through April. Best suited for adults, but OK for renters with children 14 and older. A car is necessary.

Our Casa is located in the peaceful suburb of El Centenario, about 15 minutes outside of downtown La Paz. We enjoy the quiet hillside setting with beautiful views of the Sea of Cortez. The town of El Centenario has small shops, restaurants and cafes and is very convenient to quiet, local beaches. The airport, Walmart and Home Depot are about a ten minute drive away.
