You are invited to be our guest at our beautiful custom built home. Our first tier gulf view home has fabulous views of the gulf from the 2nd and 3rd floor decks, both master suites and all living areas. This 2600 square foot home boast 4+ bedrooms, 3 full and 2 half baths, large bright living room, unique dining room, den (kid zone or 5th bedroom). An elevator services all floors for your convince and a gas fireplace located in the living room is available to guests during the winter. Walk 20 steps across the yard to the semi private 18’ x 36’ pool (shared with three other homes) or just 30 steps to the beutiful sugar white sand of Cape San Blas.
Cape Cottage sleeps 10 comfortably and furnished to make you feel at home. There are two master suites with king-size beds and private baths, the 3rd bedroom has a queen bed, and the 4th bedroom has two twin beds. In addition, there is a 13’ x 11’ den or (5th bedroom) with TV/DVD and queen size sofa/sleeper. Cape Cottage has plenty of space for gathering and quiet spots for reading. You can relax in the second floor screened-in deck around the dinner table or lounge in the sun on the third floor open deck or sit quietly in an Adirondack chair and listen to the surf. Take advantage of wireless, high speed (DSL), internet access from anywhere in the house or sit in the office alcove and focus. And for those looking for a winter escape, there is a gas fireplace in the living room.

Cape Cottage sleeps 10 comfortably with two Master Suites with king beds, spectaular gulf views, private luxury baths TV’s and ceiling fans. The third bedroom has a queen bed gulf views and TV. The fourth bedroom has two twin beds and the den has a 26” TV with DVD player, sleeper sofa and can easily be a 5th bedroom. There are 7 ceiling fans, one in every bedroom, den, living room and office alcove. There is over 1500sq ft of deck spread over the second and third floors with 360 sq ft screened in. The screen porch is set for casual dining and conversation areas and the second floor deck is open with Adirondack chairs to take in the great views and sunset. Cape Cottage has a gas fireplace for winter guest and a three-stop elevator to aid in moving groceries and luggage. Don’t forget your semi private pool shared with two other homes.
The kitchen is completely stocked with all the tools you need for your favorite feast and don't forget the margaritas. For your entertainment we provide 4 TVs, DVD players, stereo and video library, books, games and puzzles. To stay connected we provide wireless, high speed (DSL) internet access and free long distance. And for your convince we have washer & dryer on second floor. We also include beach chairs, umbrellas, beach toys and boogie boards. The large pool is shared with 2 other homes.
Activities
Cape Cottage is located three miles from St. Joseph Peninsula State Park. The park has 2516 acres and was rated the #1 Beach in the United States by Dr. Beach in 2003. This slender Peninsula of sugar-
white sand includes a 1700 acre wilderness preserve. Enjoy Hiking, boating, swimming, snorkeling, shelling or just beachcombing. Also available on the Cape are horseback riding, boat and kayak rentals,
bike and scooter rentals.
Other activities include surf fishing and a paved three mile walking and bike path that leads to St. Joe Peninsula State Park. Port St. Joe offers shopping, charter fishing, dining, shopping, and golf. You can't miss historic Appalachicola, for top notch shopping and dining as well as the National Estuarine Research Preserve. Year Purchased: 2008
Will, Tom, Madison, Dawn & John Welcome you to our home. We have been vacationing at the cape for over 15 years and have owned property on the cape for 9 years. In 2008 we purchased Cape Cottage because of its great location on Haven Rd. We are first tier but share an oversized beach front lot with 3 other homes. The boardwalk to the beach comes right to our back door making beach accessibility terrific and the screen porch is to die for. Hope you enjoy as much as we do. Dawn and John
Why the Owner Chose Cape San Blas
We chose this home because we wanted to be away from the busy roads and congested neighborhoods. We wanted to be first tier to better protect our home from the wear and tear of those gulf wind.
