- This cabin is 2700 square feet built with 12 inch logs on flat ground cut into the side of the mountain on a full acre to make it a "secluded mountain retreat". Bear Rock Lodge was completed in May 2008.
- This cabin is located off a county maintained road only 4 miles from Dollywood and the Parkway. It is only 12 miles from the entrance to the Great Smoky Mountain National Park and approximately 13 ½ miles from Gatlinburg.
- This cabin is furnished with only the finest name brand furniture to give it that luxury cabin finish. Bear Rock Lodge has custom window coverings and draperies.

We stayed at Bear Rock Lodge for a long weekend for my daughter's 18th birthday. Three nights is so not enough. I would LOVE to stay at least a week. This cabin has it all. The lower level was the teenager's haven. The 50" flat screen with surround sound, movies for DVD player, Playstation with games, pool table, fireplace, bathroom etc was where the teenagers stayed & had a ball. They had their own exit & hot tub. The 2nd level had foos ball, air hockey & skeeball. The best thing was the master suite was on the 3rd level & you could relax while the kids had fun & the noise level was minimal. The beds are awesome & are the most comfortable I've slept in anywhere we've ever stayed. My husband & I drove to the top of the mountain, which is not far from BRL, & the views are breathtaking. You could see the snow at Ober Gatlinburg. There is only 1 other cabin about 100 yards away so you get all the privacy you need & the short drive to the parkway puts you at major restaurants & attractions within minutes. The description listed & the photos are more than accurate but doesn't do the cabin justice. We had 9 people to stay & had plenty of places to sleep & enough towels for all. The kitchen is equipped with any item you could possibly need. This is truly a luxury cabin & the owners are very pleasant & easy to contact. I highly recommend Bear Rock Lodge & I am very picky about where I stay. This is our second visit to the cabin & I can't wait until we can come back again!!
