We have been coming to Cabo for the last seven years as timeshare owners at another property. As recent owners at Montecristo, we knew that any renter should have high expectations in comfort and service at such an exclusive resort. With this in mind, we stayed in our Villa in 2008, to see for ourselves exactly what a renter could expect with the amenities as advertised. We were not disappointed.

Vacation time is precious for friends and family, and time is valuable to us all. We all want the perfect vacation. You and your friends/family will not be disappointed in the value you receive at this property. We welcome your questions about this property and about Cabo in general.

MONTICRISTO ESTATES: Nestled on the west side of Cabo San Lucas, in the mountains, above the beautiful Pueblo Bonito Sunset Beach Resort, featuring stunning unobstructed views of the Pacific Ocean, the setting sun. There will also be breath-taking vistas overlooking the soon to be completed championship 18-hole golf course designed by Jack Nicklaus. This is the only luxurious fractional ownership gated community on the Pacific Ocean. It is located next to the most prestigious private development on the Mexican Baja, Pedregal.

THE VILLA #36: What sets this villa apart is its location. As you wind up the mountain, Villa #36 is located on the end of the third tier of villas overlooking the Pacific Ocean. Standing on your balcony, you will see to the east, the neighboring villa. To the west you will have a view of the lighthouse and the mountainside. In one sweeping unobstructed view, you see sunrise to sunset overlooking the Pacific for some unimaginable views.

This is a luxurious 4,500 square foot [2,800 under roof and 1,700 on decks] Villa-Style, 3-bedroom, 3.5 bathroom split-level villa. It is built on the highest peak on the southern-Baja, 800 feet above sea level and 200 feet above the highest villas in neighboring Pedregal. The villa has it's own private swimming pool, carport, Gas Grill BBQ, indoor Jacuzzi, outdoor hot tub for eight and lots of outdoor living/entertainment space.

You enter this spacious and open home through a beautiful old world fountain courtyard. There are many modern day amenities. The living room is complete with fireplace and an entertainment center including TV, DVD and stereo. The computer is broadband connected. The Villa is finished in marble, granite and solid mahogany woodwork. The kitchen has a refrigerator with ice-maker, dishwasher, microwave and stove with oven, (all cooking accessories and utensils are supplied). The dining room is adjacent to the kitchen and beautifully appointed with magnificent views of the Pacific Ocean.

Sleeping arrangements include two master bedroom suites with king size beds, private baths and dressing areas, one master bedroom suite with two queen size beds, private bath and dressing area, a sofa-bed for two in the downstairs lounge, (and a sofa for a child in the upstairs lounge if necessary). All linens are provided with daily maid service.

Pool and jacuzzi maintenance are also done daily.

Additional Amenities:
Guests staying at the Montecristo are allowed "full-access" to all the amenities at the stunning Sunset Beach Resort (look at the photo galleries). There are two fine-dining restaurants, European Health Spa and Fitness Center, flood-lit tennis courts, boutiques, bars (three), delis (two), Coffee Shoppe, convenience store and market, 16th century Chapel, medical center, five pools (all with swim-up bars) and kids activities, Car Rental, and Concierge service.

If you do not have your own car, you will also be provided with a free shuttle service (on the hour) to and from Medano Beach, and have full access to the Pueblo Bonito Blanco and Pueblo Bonito Rose resorts. You have the ability to charge expenses from all Pueblo Bonito resorts to your villa at Montecristo including Cabo Pacifico.

Activities (on site or nearby): Swimming, Snorkeling & Diving, Sailing, Para-sailing, Jet-Skiing, Hiking, Biking, ATVs, Golf, Tennis, Fitness Center, Fishing, Horseback Riding, Shopping and Cinemas.
