My husband and I stayed here for a week in February with our 3 year old son, my brother, his wife and their 3 year old son. The house and location were exactly what we were looking for. With little ones, we made several trips in and out from the beach during the day. It made it so easy that it was only a few steps to the door! It is always nerve-wracking planning a trip with children and hoping a location is suitable. This was perfect. The third bedroom with twin beds worked out perfectly, and the outdoor shower made clean-up of sandy little boys a breeze. We brought swim shoes since I read other reviews recommending them. Was a little concerned that would deter the kids but not at all. The shallow sea grass is so soft, and the boys spent HOURS playing there every day. The house's location on the quiet north side is exactly what we wanted. We drove over to Rum Point one day. Great lunch spot and decent snorkeling (snorkeling is better right in front of the villa). The Tuesday night beach BBQ at Kaibo is a great, inexpensive family event. Based on a neighbor's recommendation, we had lunch one day at Kurt's Corner in Old Man Bay (adjoined to brightly colored liquor store) down the road. Excellent food at reasonable prices. Mainly though, we took advantage of the well-equipped kitchen and prepared most meals at home. Thank you, Frank, for all the wonderful guidance. All your neighbor/owners are wonderful as well!

Stayed at the property for a week at the end of 2011 and could not have been happier. Frank went out of his way to make us feel welcome—all of his recommendations were spot-on and he was available by email the whole time we were there, throughout his own Christmas break. The local building manager came over to check on us when we had a minor problem with the dishwasher and she was so sweet and friendly. The house is even closer to the beach than it looks in the photos; you walk right out the door to soft sand and amazing snorkeling. The water is shallow enough to make everyone comfortable with snorkeling—my parents had never done it before, but they were pros by the end of the week. We took advantage of the nice new bikes, extensive board game collection, waffle maker, and snorkeling equipment. If you are looking for a relaxing week in a relatively rural part of the island, this is the place for you.

Just stayed here July 9th through the 16th of 2011. The house is very new and was perfect for our needs. Frank was a gracious host and provided us with everything... even some alcohol! We have rented houses all over the world over the past 12 years. This rental property exceeds most that we have been in. The North Shore is not a busy tourist mecca. This is not a party house for the young that want night life. You have to have a rental car if you want to explore the island. But the house has all the modern conveniences plus a well stocked kitchen. You can step out the back door and you are right on the beech. We went to go diving and that was spectacular. We were very comfortable and enjoyed ourselves very much. Thank You Frank!

This is an excellent property, and an excellent value for a vacation. It's the perfect property for those wanting a peaceful and somewhat private vacation. The house itself is absolutely perfect! BETTER than pictured! It's modern, open, airy, and easy to keep clean. The master bedroom upstairs has a sliding door that opens to the sea and the sea breezes at night. ABSOULUTE HEAVEN! With the washer and dryer in the house, you could probably get by for 7-10 days with what you could pack in a carry-on. Step right off the patio (downstairs) on to the sand and then about 20 paces to the waters edge. Some of the healthiest corals and reefs that we've seen are a short kick straight off the beach. LOTS of color and sea life. Spotted lots of lobster in the rocks and even a couple of Lion Fish (which we reported). We concur with other reviews recommending booties or ocean shoes as the entry to the water can be a bit rocky. Fins work very well. If you are traveling with young children who will want to run in and out of the water, or if you just want a nice sandy entry into the water, it's just down the road in the Rum point area, or back around 7 mile beach. It's a bit of a drive from town to the unit, but the trade off is the beauty of the property and seclusion for your family. We rented a car from Andy's. I emailed them with our dates, asked if they had a discounted rate (from the advertised rate) and they gave me 20% off! We dove with Sunset House closer to town. (about a 45 minute drive with traffic so plan accordingly to make the morning dives) We bought a multiple day dive package and Pete, at the counter, threw in a Kittiwake dive trip for 4 ($200+ value), unlimited shore diving for the duration of our stay, and lockers to keep our dive gear in. There's great snorkeling right there, a great bar/restaurant, and a big fresh water pool at Sunset House for the non-divers. I highly recommend Sunset Divers and ask for Pete. We found the most expensive part of our trip to be food, but we took 25lbs of frozen meat with us and it really helped offset the cost. It cost $30 to check an ice chest with American but it saved us way more than that. (we left the ice chest in the house) As far as dining out.... it's all pretty much the same. Some cost more than others but we found the food acceptable where ever we ate. "Over the Edge" was nice. Alcohol is EXPENSIVE. Each person can bring 1 bottle on to the island. I HIGHLY recommend this property.

Back for another visit and the second time was even better than the first. Frank & Del obviously want their guests to enjoy their stay as they have added bicycles, four Adirondak chairs (for lounging!) and even a Mickey Mouse waffle iron! They even added a new King Size master bedroom set which was super comfortable. The snorkeling is the greatest and and the villa exceeds all expectations. With your own almost private beach right out you back door you feel like you are on your own Caribbean island. We could take the bikes to easy access to great meals right down the street(ten minute walk, one minute drive) at Over the Edge restaurant and many others nearby. But some of the greatest cooking was done right in the villa. We cooked fresh fish in a very well equipped kitchen and even a small BBQ that made mealtimes reasonable and easy. For those that enjoy scuba, you can't do better than in the Caymans! All in all another great vacation and I know the third time will be just as great. Thank you SO much, we loved our stay and will be back again.

I have been to Grand Cayman many times and have stayed at 7 Mile Beach and Rum Point. This villa was a wonderful surprise find. Some of the best snorkeling on the island is just a few steps out the back door. The beach is well maintained and quiet. The villa itself is very well appointed and quite comfortable. If you're looking for an inviting place to relax and enjoy beach front life in the tropics, you have found it!

Very well equipped in an excellent, secluded location with many great activities nearby. Scuba trips, waverunners, windsurfers, reef snorkeling, great beaches, nature reserves, shopping - all within 10 minutes, and the best restaurant on the island at Rum Point. We'll be back.

The villa is beautiful and located on the north side of Grand Cayman. If you enjoy being in a quiet and relaxing location with your own private beach right outside your door, this villa will be perfect. The villa has all the comforts of home and is very clean and comfortable. Frank (one of the owners) is wonderful and extremely helpful. We will definitely be back!

If you are interested in the crowded and noisy beaches at 7 Mile, then don't read any further!!! If you are interested in quite walks on a secluded beach, good snorkeling and the Caribbean Island feel, then this is your place. After 2 weeks of staying here, it was starting to feel like home. The place is awesome and would be perfect for families with young or older kids. Rum point is 5 min. down the road, when you want to feel like a tourist, restaurants are 5 min. away whether you turn right or left on the main road. The Botanical Gardens are 8 min away and Georgetown 35 min. away. This is the perfect spot to enjoy everything that Grand Cayman has to offer. Frank, the owner went out of his way to ensure that my arrival went off without a hitch (Thanks again!!!) If you are looking for the perfect getaway then this is it! Just don't book it for next March, cause I'm already saving up!!!

This place was awesome! It had everything we needed and it's in the perfect spot. You can't beat the view and the snorkeling right out your back door. Quiet area, within driving distance to everything. Frank, the owner, was a real delight to work with as well. We would definately recommend Azure Breeze and hope to come back someday.

We are a family of 5 and stayed at Azure Breeze over the new year. The location is idylic and allows the children to wander outside the back door and play on the beach in safety. The sea is shallow and, being sheltered by the reef, calm. If you prefer a more manicured beach, with the bottom cleared of coral and seaweed, then rum point is just 5 minutes up the road. The property itself is clean and tidy with all the comforts of home. It is clear that the owners want their guests to enjoy their stay. We especially appreciated the attention to detail in the little things like a selection of games for the children. In summary, it's not seven mile beach but that's a good thing! I would recommend this property without reservation for a quiet beach holiday.

Two and half weeks of pure relaxation spent at Azure Breeze! Lovely villa, especially if you are travelling with children, as all the mod cons and very spacious. Beautifully furnished and maintained and you feel at home the moment you step in the door. Such a peaceful location and away from all the chaos of Seven Mile Beach. The owners are so helpful and made our stay as simple and easy as possible. We will be back!

The villa was perfect for our family of 5; on the quiet side of the island, with very nice snorkeling in coral heads a few yards offshore in a sheltered area inside the fringing reef; easy access to activities down the road at Rum Point; clean, well-furnished, and bright; a great relaxing get-away
