This Hawaii-designed castle sits on the top of the world overlooking the blue Pacific Ocean, Koko Head, Diamond Head, and several islands such as Molokai. It is located in an exclusive private gated community with the wealthiest zip code in the Hawaiian Islands. This community has its own club house, gardeners, security team, and tennis courts. It is known for its gorgeous private homes and open ocean views – all great for whale watching during winter months.

Also, walking ten minutes from the front door one finds beautiful hiking trails into the Hawaiian rain forest. This large, 3000-square-foot Mediterranean castle is terraced with its own moat, meditation area, and a private forest with over sixty mature trees such as Italian cypress, Hollywood juniper, and hibiscus -- a tropical paradise. The castle is fully furnished with numerous oil paintings since the owner resides there part of the year.

The castle has four levels of living space with exacting attention to detail throughout. Special features include Roman and Greek reliefs and sculptures and exclusive lighting fixtures imported from Italy. For relaxed Hawaiian living, very high ceilings and hardwood floors provide feelings of warmth and spaciousness.

The elegant private courtyard landscaped with orchids and tropical plants has a swimming-pool-deep spa suitable for nude bathing and sunbathing. In total, the castle contains 3½ bedrooms, 3½ baths, secluded library, a unique gourmet kitchen, and lastly, a superb underground wine cellar with tasting room adjacent to wine racks, a 1,300 bottle capacity.

Water is seen everywhere, and just 5 minutes away by car is the beach. Another 7 minutes in either direction takes you to such familiar stores such as Costco, Safeway, Starbucks, The Coffee Bean, Macys, Barnes & Nobles, California Pizza Kitchen, two 8-plex movie theaters, Longs drugstore, Ross clothing, CitiMill hardware, Roy’s gourmet restaurant, the Outback, and McDonalds (65 cent Kona coffee for seniors. Concierge and personal shopping help available.

Jet skiing, skin diving, snorkeling, and parasailing are nearby at Koko Marina. Another 10 minutes away one discovers world-famous snorkeling at Hanauma Bay, and body surfing at Sandy Beach, the Blow Hole, and SeaLife Park. Finally, the castle is located about 15 minutes from Waikiki and Neiman Marcus, and about 30 minutes from Honolulu airport.

The second-story master suite also has a panoramic view of the ocean, Koko Head, and Molokai. It is equipped with a Queen-size bed, a walk-in closet, private dressing area, master bath, and shower. The master shower area is 5 by 10 feet in size with 8-shower-head spa plumbing! The remaining 2½ bedrooms each contain a walk-in closet and single beds with the possibility for expansion using folding futon mattresses.

The gourmet kitchen and formal dining room have ocean views and a split air conditioning system. The kitchen is equipped with tip-top luxury standards such as a Viking gas stove and dishwasher, and a Sub Zero fridge. The hardwood-floored living room has a 20 foot ceiling and 21 windows facing the ocean.

There are four televisions, and the 42” LCD television is equipped with DVD and HBO/Showtime. The private study with its ocean view contains a large collection of fiction and non-fiction books, a high-speed internet and Wi-Fi connected computer, and soft leather chairs. Few other homes in Hawaii achieve this level of excellence.
