Are you looking for that spectacular, unforgettable place that you will just not want to leave? The house was remodeled with all green products in 2007 and has a completely new luxury kitchen with a La Cornue stove, fireplace and pizza-oven, a 12 foot door that opens up the whole kitchen to the ocean and let's you step out onto a deck that feels like an extension of the kitchen.
Walk down a few steps and enjoy the gas fire pit on the new stone deck surrounded by flowers and the largest aloe plant you have ever seen. Enjoy your morning coffee or evening drink in the hot tub while watching the stars or the west Marin coast line and Pacific Ocean. The kids will have plenty of fun in the play house, in the sand box or on the swing set - or down at the beach which you reach through a private walkway in only 2 minutes.
A favorite ritual in the morning will surely be taking the 5 minute walk to picturesque downtown Stinson Beach, get a coffee at the coffee stand and a newspaper at the market and either sit down on the bench and chat with the bikers and other coffee drinkers or bring it back home and put your feet up and marvel at the beauty of the ocean.
The main house has 3 bedrooms and two baths on the second floor. Wake up in the king bed in the master bedroom, look to the West and see the ocean or look to the East and watch the morning fog lifting from the hills. Enjoy the evening in the beautiful sun room over looking the ocean or go out on the balcony with a glass of wine and a chess set and let the sound of the waves calm your soul. For a perfect day, light a fire in the fire place before you crawl into bed with a good book. The second bedroom offers a queen bed and access to a balcony facing the hills, while the third bedroom faces the ocean and has a twin bed with a trundle.
Only steps away, the cottage offers two more bedrooms - one with a queen bed and one with two bunk-beds (4 beds) as well as a full bath.

This place is absolutely magical. We spent an amazing week walking on the beach, hiking on Mount Tam and then coming back to relax on the decks and in the hot tub or around the fire pit. The views are astonishing, and falling asleep to the the sound of the waves was wonderful. The house has so many beautiful touches and is the perfect place to spend time with family or friends. And the master bedroom suite is out of this world. I would rent this house again in a heartbeat!

The Grand children call it "The Beach House." This July was our 3rd straight year of being there and we plan to keep the new tradition going. The owners allow you into their special home and a chance to spend a week in paradise. The kitchen patio combo that allows everyone to be together is a wonderful set up, but if you ask the kids, it's the Beach, Hot tub, Play areas and the Play house that makes it special. My favorite area is the sun room off the master bedroom that overlooks the Pacific Ocean along with the new master bath with shower...must be experienced to be appreciated. Gary

This house is everything the owners say and more! We are an NYC couple. We stayed there with our 2 year old and in-laws - it was a big success for all ages. It is very well cared for, full amenities, close to town, and just really gorgeous. We are frequent VRBO renters and this one is among the most succesful stay we've ever had. You won't be sorry!

This villa is exactly what the vrbo listing states. The views are stunning from almost every room, and the house is spectacular with every essential there for your enjoyment. The owners have made sure their villa will be the best experience you have ever had. It was true for my family and friends this past July. The owners were easy, professional, and timely to work with when setting our week up. It was as if their biggest concern was my family's enjoyment we were about to experience rather than what type of group was going to rent their oasis. They even had a local contact to help out with questions and check in to make sure everything was perfect and clean when we arrived, which is was. The extra cottage is great for kids, teenagers, and friends to sleep and hang out if you have a big group. The local restaurants are an short easy walk, but you may not want to leave the beautiful kitchen which opens up to the outdoor paradise. The beach was a very short walk for my family, but maybe grandparents may have a little tougher time if they have balance concerns. I would, and already have, recommended this property to my family and friends and will continue to do so without hessitation. Go ahead and rent it. It will truly be the best place in Stinson you have ever stayed, and possibly anywhere! But, leave a week available for me, since my family will be back for sure.

This home is beautiful and the private setting is spectacular. We also enjoyed the convenience of being right on the beach and within easy walking distance to the little town and restaurants. We will never forget "samores" by the campfire, unending monopoly and ocean bingo games, our grandchildren catching the waves on the little surf boards, meals together on your beautiful terrace and big dining table, and family hot tub time. It doesn't get any better than this!

A week of pure heaven. From the grand children 2 and 5 to their parents in their thirties to the grandparents in their sixties the perfect vacation home. This place was built with children in mind but the activities for adults goes on and on. Hot tub with ocean view, dining with ocean view and a separate house for meeting the quiet time needs. The owners have allowed you into their home that is nicely appointed and includes a neat Pizza oven as well as everything else you could need to do some gourmet cooking. On a one to ten it's a solid 10.

From our first entry to this home, all 12 of us, from ages 3 - 71 loved it. The house is decorated beautifully, with both comfort and style in mind. We especially appreciated that because of plantings and fencing, it was safe for the young ones to wander without our worrying about them heading to the beach without an adult.They loved the play house and swings. The house is close enough to the beach to hear the surf, but uphill just enough for fabulous views. Adults especially appreciated the beautiful gourmet kitchen. And, it's a short stroll into town for ice cream! There's even a kids' eating area and toy closet stocked with board games. There are almost too many great things about this house to list here. Things to do: relax, hunt sea shells, hike and bike ride in the hills, shop in Stinson Beach and Point Reyes Station (fantastic book stores) , lunch at Sand Dollar or in Point Reyes Station, appreciate being with people you love, in a beautiful place.

We had high expectations for our 40th Anniversary gathering, and lots of people to please. We found all our dreams come true right here. From youngest (1 year ) to oldest (65 plus), we couldn't be more pleased. Toys for the children, easy beach access, quiet spots and oh the views! A beautiful, peaceful, delight! Can't wait to return- and we are not waiting another 40 years! Can't say enough about this fantastic home. Treat yourself!

It is not often that one can say of rented accommodation that it is truly wonderful, but that is what this house is, As the front gate opens a moment one wishes would happen more often occurs, it's awe inspiring. The location alone is enough to make you want to stay here but the care and workmanship that the owners have put into renovating this house makes the holiday. It's Comfortable and beautifully designed, a pleasure for the whole family to enjoy.
