Amazing Virginia mountain property located in the picturesque Blue Ridge Mountains. Wonderful view of fall foliage!

60+ acres bordering the Shenandoah National Park. Short hike to Appalachian Trail and Skyline Drive. Main home has 3,000 ft2, vaulted ceilings, all three floors with beautiful mountain/valley views. 4 bedrooms and 2 ½ baths. Tastefully decorated. Master bedroom has private deck with views, large walk in closet, master bath, dual vanities, large whirlpool tub. Open and spacious great room with fireplace, dining room, eat in kitchen, library/living room with fireplace, laundry room with mud sink. Detached garage adjacent to main house.

Property also has a guest cottage near the main house that could be rented with main house. It has a fully equipped kitchen, double bed, living areas, full bath with washer and dryer.


Sleeping arrangements: Master (3rd floor) has king bed, bedroom on main floor has a double bed plus adjoining room with single bed. Two bedrooms on lower floor, one has two twins, one has double bed. Also pull out sofa (dbl)in living room. Cottage has one double bed.


Land is filled with hardwoods, natural springs, beautiful rock outcroppings, abundant raspberries, blackberries and wildlife. This property is a great escape and a wonderful place for gathering with family and friends. The views are spectacular in all seasons.

    • We had a lovely stay over New Year's at this mountain house, and it was extremely comfortable for a large group. The kitchen was well supplied, the fire places were wonderful to curl up in front of, and the hikes up to the Appalachian trail were great. The view from the large windows was beautiful, and our toddler had the best time in his "toy room." It felt totally secluded from civilization, but it was really just a short trip from Charlottesville. Highly recommended as a getaway.
