Everything was just as wonderful the second time round. Our only complaint was that it was too short!! We enjoyed the addition of the wine and other glasses. We were just sorry we didn't get a visit in with Darryl as he was out working. Jay and I will be looking forward to some time when we can return again. Unfortunately, it won't come soon enough. We will, though, contact you as soon as we can make plans. I do believe we have found a little piece of paradise. Thank you again for sharing your house with us.

Thank you for sharing your beach house with us. We had never been to the Bahamas before and although we were expecting it to be quiet and non touristy here, it is very quiet here! Once we got used to that, we settled it and everyday started appreciating it more! The beach is spectacular, this house is in a great location and the people here are wonderful. Our favorite day was when Ryan took us out on his boat for half a day of touring and snorkeling around the reefs of Devil's backbone. He was so nice, so capable and knew all the most beautiful places to take us. We will miss the chicken salad sandwiches from the Gap restaurant for lunch and the delicious fish fingers from the Anchor's snack bar for dinner. We steamed up crab claws from Ronald's one night and made delicious crab cakes. And the Johnny cakes from Kathy's bakery were wonderful. We hope to come back!

Thank you for the opportunity to stay in your delightful cottage! We loved your vacation home and how authentically caribbean it feels. Spanish Wells is close to our hearts as we have been coming every other year on extended family vacation here for many years. Some family members for 30 years... We love the pristine beauty, simplicity and quiet from our busy lives in suburban Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. We and our three young children and their eight cousins, uncles, aunts and grandparents are making wonderful memories and friendships on the island as the years go by! So again, thank you for having five very appreciative folks! (our total crew of 18 stays in a couple of places)

Spanish Wells was the perfect location for OUR WEDDING! An exclusive, romantic island, amazing beach walks along the ocean. Tony and Darryl were our witnesses for our wedding, located at the gazebo on the ocean. Everything was so organised, thank you! We experienced and partaked at Darryl's catch, amazing fresh fish. Our one day trip to Harbour island by ferry was a great experience. Ate lunch at Valentine's dockside, wonderful fish sandwich and Kalik. Your adorable villa is wonderfully furnished in Bahamian style. Thanks again!

Now that is what I call a vacation! The island is beautiful and the people are very friendly. Our son does not want to leave and neither do I. Toni and Darryl went the extra mile and were very helpful. Darryl said that I could call him at midnight if we needed anything. You do not hear that everyday. The cottage was fabulous and I cannot wait to come back!

Thank you for this great opportunity to enjoy your beautiful cottage and share this amazing experience with us. It is a beautiful island and we luckily had amazing weather and got to enjoy the warm sun. It was a bonus that you provided towels as our bags were packed already. Thank you for having a well kept, clean, cozy cottage and we wish to return. A great place to relax away from all the normal day to day "busyness".

My family and I were looking for the perfect vacation for rest, quiet, sun and beach. It was perfect. The people of Spanish Wells are welcoming and friendly. You could not have asked for better treatment by the caretakers, Toni and Darryl. The cottage was lovely and had everything we needed (except for a few kitchen tools of personal preference). We stayed in, cooking our own meals and found the Food Fair so convenient with an adequate selection. We are busy planning a return trip and will absolutely stay at Pink Sands Cottage.

Recommended for:Romantic getaway, tourists without a car, girls getaway, age 55+, families with young children.

The beach is a delight; perfect white sands kissed by an azure sea. Pink Sands Cottage is ideal for 4 adults or for a small family and its location near the beach is perfect. We enjoyed our two day trips to Eleuthera and Harbour island. Harbour island is upmarket but well worth beating yourself to a visit. The water and land taxi connections work extremely well, even when returning at 11 PM, even later. $5 a head for the water taxi to Jean's bay and the same from North Eleuthera to Harbour island. Land taxi is approx $30 one way. You have to visit the liquor store if you enjoy the occasional alcoholic beverage. We recommend Norma's hut for a fish sandwich, coated in their own seasoning or fresh fish, they're great

We had a fantastic time. The cottage was more than we expected, very quaint and picturesque, just what one would expect in the outer islands. It is also very comfortable. We never used the stove, only the microwave oven, as we bought our meals from Norma's take away and from the roadside stalls. Norma's may not be fancy but the food is great and good value. Mrs. Pinder took very good care of us. We will definitely return. Next time we will bring our son and his family.

We absolutely want to tell you that we have very much appreciated our stay in your cottage and on your island! Your cottage is welcoming, clean and very well situated. Its architecture and its decoration respect the environment. Your caretakers have been welcoming and very courteous, everything has been perfect. People are smiling, welcoming and polite, and what to say about the views... Perhaps, we will come back next year... if it is possible... We have been honoured being your first guests.
