Pink Sands Beach Cottage is a very beautiful brand new beach cottage with a direct access to a breathtaking pink sandy beach. Most of the times you will be alone, and if it gets crowded, you may have two to six people around. Two and a half miles of stunning beach. On this part of this beach, at low tide, the ocean is a magnificent turquoise lagoon.

The cottage is ideally situated. Everything that is or could be important to you is within walking distance:

- the beach, which we suppose is the major reason for your coming here. Less than 1 minute walk through the beach alley in front of the house. (the first day probably 20 seconds as you would be running)
- the bank: there is one bank on the island, the Royal Bank of Canada and it is only at a 2 minutes walk.
- the grocery store, there is an incredibly well-stocked store, a sort of medium size US Walgreens, which is really unbelievable at the scale of this island and it is only at a 2 minutes walk.
- the doctor, we sincerely hope you will not need his services, but otherwise our excellent Dr. Bailey is within a 2 minutes walk, providing you can walk. Otherwise he makes house calls.
- the restaurants, you can enjoy very good food at the restaurant of our friend, Manuel, Eagle's Landings at less than a 2 minutes walk, just behind the house.

This house has been designed by a renowned Bahamian architect in the pure style of the old bahamian houses and yet all the comfort and equipment of a modern home. Particular thought was given to favor the outstanding view from all the different rooms. The orientation of the house, the design of the patio, and the position of all the windows and doors have been calculated to let the fresh sea breeze refresh the entire house. All the windows and doors have been equipped with insect screens. But if you still prefer the air conditioning, just remember to close the windows and French doors.

This old-fashioned looking cottage gives visitors to Spanish Wells a real taste of island living. Located on quiet Saint George's Cay, this heaven is the perfect place for relaxation, for honeymooners, a romantic getaway , a quiet family vacation or if you just want to get away from the world for a while.

Pink Sands Beach Cottage can accommodate up to 6 people. The two-story cottage offers a large porch downstairs and a very comfortable balcony upstairs to enjoy the sea view. Pink Sands Beach Cottage is a life's dream come true. We have never been in any place in the world where people are so caring and friendly and where you can enjoy a real sense of security. Spanish Wells is as close to paradise as you could get on earth.

  • The beach is a delight; perfect white sands kissed by an azure sea. Pink Sands Cottage is ideal for 4 adults or for a small family and its location near the beach is perfect. We enjoyed our two day trips to Eleuthera and Harbour island. Harbour island is upmarket but well worth beating yourself to a visit. The water and land taxi connections work extremely well, even when returning at 11 PM, even later. $5 a head for the water taxi to Jean's bay and the same from North Eleuthera to Harbour island. Land taxi is approx $30 one way. You have to visit the liquor store if you enjoy the occasional alcoholic beverage. We recommend Norma's hut for a fish sandwich, coated in their own seasoning or fresh fish, they're great

  • We had a fantastic time. The cottage was more than we expected, very quaint and picturesque, just what one would expect in the outer islands. It is also very comfortable. We never used the stove, only the microwave oven, as we bought our meals from Norma's take away and from the roadside stalls. Norma's may not be fancy but the food is great and good value. Mrs. Pinder took very good care of us. We will definitely return. Next time we will bring our son and his family.

  • We absolutely want to tell you that we have very much appreciated our stay in your cottage and on your island! Your cottage is welcoming, clean and very well situated. Its architecture and its decoration respect the environment. Your caretakers have been welcoming and very courteous, everything has been perfect. People are smiling, welcoming and polite, and what to say about the views... Perhaps, we will come back next year... if it is possible... We have been honoured being your first guests.
