Beautifully restored historic coquena home in the city. Approx. 1900 sq foot of pleasure. Sit on the front porch and visit or listen to rain.(tin roof) Ride bikes downtown for all the shopping, resturants, music and art in this historic city founded in 1565. You will never run out of new things to do. Visit the farmers market and listen to the live music and shop for fresh local prodce, breads and fish.(Satrday morning) First Friday each month has an art tour. Go for a carriage or trolly ride and hear the highlights of the city. Load up your chairs and cooler and go to the nearby beach just over the bridge of Lyons. You drive on the beach so it is very easy to take everything you want. History, the beach, shopping, biking - they are all here. Visit St. Augustine and stay in this beautiful home with claw foot tub (down) or jetted tub.(upstairs) It is Very clean, comfy and cozy. The kitchen was shown in the Better Homes & Gardens semi-monthly magazine "Kitchen & Batth Ideas" for Sept & Oct 2009.
Two bedrooms downstairs and 1 master suite on second floor. The master suite has a queen bed, and twin day bed plus a nice sunny window seat. The bath has a jetted tub with a folding shower door, a dressing area with lots of storage. The upstaris has its own HVAC unit so the temp can be easily controlled.
The house has had a complete remodel to include electrical, plumbing, HVAC interior plaster on the walls. Oh, the kitchen is wonderful. The cabinet drawers have the quiet close and are all new with glass front upper cabinet doors. You will love it.

Why the Owner Chose St. Augustine
This home was purchased as a second home and a friend told us about the VRBO web site when we were looking for a way to list the house for vacation rental. St. Augustine is such a fun city and the house sat empty quite a bit of the time so it made good sense to rent it.
The Unique Benefits at this House
You will enjoy this beautiful house that has everything you need to cook or entertain. It is nice to walk to the downtown and the many historic places and to shop on St. George Street. The drive or bike ride to the beach is aprox. 3.5 miles. The high ceilings give a calm to the house that is great for vacations. The city is so much fun to explore and also for learning about its history.
