Our property is newly built and exquisitely furnished throughout. The main level Master Bedroom walks out to the spacious deck. The enormous deck can accommodate 12 people comfortably for outdoor dining and entertaining. The floor plan is approximately 3800 square feet, and has six comfortable size bedrooms in a very open and inviting setting.
The huge kitchen is gourmet equipped, including serving pieces as well as pots, pans, and all of the accessories necessary for excellent food preparation. There is a gas grill available for guests to use year round, and an additional small deck at the rear of the house equipped with chairs for comfort while grilling.
The Main Level features the Master Bedroom with a king size bed, the gourmet Kitchen and a Laundry room equipped with a washer and dryer. There is a fabulous vaulted ceiling in the living room. It is furnished with designer sofas and chairs, a 42" flat screen TV with a DVD player, and a gas fireplace.
The Lower Level has an additional casual living area with a sectional sleeper sofa, a wall unit with 38" flat screen TV, games in the wall unit for guests, books for guests, and a small conference/game table that seats up to 6 comfortably in a separate alcove off of the living area. There is one bedroom with a queen size bed and attached bathroom, and another bedroom on the lower level with two full size beds.
The Upper Level of the house has three bedrooms, one room with two full size beds and an attached bathroom, and another two rooms that share a bath, one with two full size beds and one with a queen size bed.
Each bedroom is equipped with a flat screen TV, DVD player, telephone, clocks, dressers, and large double door or walk in closet.
The house is a traditional mountain home, but with ample space to store skis, snowboards, golf clubs, mountain bikes, or whatever activity may suit our guests. The Wintergreen Shuttle serves the neighborhood within a very short walk to the Shuttle stop. Thus the location is convenient to the entire resort, including particularly the Golf and Tennis Facilities, the swimming pools, as well as the Spa and Ski Lodge.
The house is a super efficient energy saving house, built to exacting environmental standards, and constructed with special insulating features. This keeps the temperature at comfortable levels year around, and also features an all electric air filtration system.
Mountain Laurels thrive in the spring and summer, blanketing the lot with abundant flowers. The winter views afford more mountain vistas, but whatever the season, the ambiance is superior. This home is a perfect get away for family reunions, corporate retreats, golf retreats, or other similar gatherings.
