The pictures don't do this unit justice! This is a premier oceanfront unit located in the small quaint complex of island south condominiums, which is located on the most desirable part of St. Augustine Beach were cars are not permitted to drive.
The large balcony is private to the unit and is large enough for dining outdoors. The living room is furnished with leather couches, 50 inch plasma, complete entertainment system with surround sound, DVD, and iPod hook so you can listen to all your favorite tunes. The master bedroom has a 43 inch wall mounted plasma. The second bedroom has a 19 inch flat panel television with DVD. The kitchen has granite countertops, stainless appliances, and is fully stocked with all kitchen utensils, glassware and plates.

Loved the condo especially the ocean front balcony. The condo is on the third floor and there is no elevator so be prepared to get in shape! We rented the condo to spend some time with our friends who came to visit from England. The location could not have been better, ocean front and just minutes to historic St. Augustine. After playing tourist all day, we would return to relax on the balcony and listen to the ocean. The kitchen was well equipped and had everything we needed. The large flat screen TV's were great, one rainy, cold afternoon we simply stayed in and watched movies. We would definitely recommend going to Harry's. We took our friends to Harry's for lunch and they liked it so much, we returned the next day. Jesse was very pleasant to work with and we hope to rent his wonderful condo in the future.Recommended for: Age 55+, romantic getaway, girls getaway, sightseeing.

Absolutely the best vacation ever. Condo was everything you could wish for and more besides. Couldn't get closer to the ocean. Will definitely be back.Recommended for: Families with young children, age 55+, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, girls getaway, adventure seekers, tourists without a car, sightseeing.

Iam sitting on the balcony looking at the ocean before we start home to Ky. This was our first trip to St.Augustine. We absolutely loved it. Of course we did the usual sites-constillo, old town, ghost tours and Harry's but our favorite was the beach. Jesse advised us to bring our bikes and I'am so glad we did. This was our first visit to St. Augustine. I spent many hours on line before coming, trying to decide where to stay. I'am so thankful that I chose this place. God blessed us with such a nice place to stay. The view is absolutely perfect. The balcony is my favorite "room". I watched dolphins one morning. The condo has plenty of room and it is so well stocked. I don't have one complaint except that I have to leave so soon. I hope to come back. This condo is absolutely sent from heaven. My wonderful daughter researched , planned and paid for us to spend 8 days here. As others have already said, the pictures on-line do not do it justice. The statement "kitchen well equipped" is an understatement. Everything you have at home, plus lots of items I now plan to purchase when I get home, were here for our convenience. Rental Rules* ADDRESS: 620 A1a Beach Blvd, #11 St. Augustine, Fl.32080 Phone: 904-471-0255 CHECK-IN TIME is AFTER 4 P.M. AND CHECKOUT is 10 A.M. . NO Early Check-in or late checkout. This is a NON SMOKING unit. Tenant will be charged a $200.00 additional cleaning fee for smoking in unit. PETS - PETS are not permitted in rental units under any conditions. DAMAGE/RESERVATION DEPOSIT - A reservation deposit of $200 is required. This must be received within five (5) days of booking the reservation. The deposit automatically converts to a security/damage deposit upon arrival. The deposit is NOT applied toward rent; however, it is fully refundable within (14) days of departure, provided the following provisions are met. • No damage is done to unit or its contents, beyond normal wear and tear. • No charges are incurred due to contraband, pets or collection of rents or services rendered during the stay. • All debris, rubbish and discards are placed in dumpster, and soiled dishes are placed in the dishwasher and cleaned. • All keys are left on the kitchen table and unit is left locked. • All charges accrued during the stay are paid prior to departure. • No linens are lost or damaged. • NO early check-in or late checkout. • The renter is not evicted by the owner (or representative of the owner), the local law enforcement, or the security company employed by My Community. DAMAGE CHARGES. Your credit card information will be kept on file during the term of your stay for us as a “security/damage deposit” to insure compliance with the terms of the Rental Agreement. If, after inspection, it is determined that the condition of the unit is beyond normal wear and tear, or contents are missing from the unit, Tenant agrees to accept all liability and understands that these costs will be charged to the Tenant’s credit card. PAYMENT – An advance payment equal to 50% of the rental rate is required 60 days before arrival. The advance payment will be applied toward the rent. Please make payments by personal checks payable to [Jesse Jabot.] The advance payment is not a damage deposit. The BALANCE OF RENT is due fourteen (14) days before your arrival date. CANCELLATIONS – Cancellations that are made more than sixty (60) days prior to the arrival date are subject to a 5% cancellation fee or $50, whichever is greater. Cancellations or changes that result in a shortened stay, that are made within 60 days of the arrival date, forfeit the full advance payment and reservation deposit. Cancellation or early departure does not warrant any refund of rent. MONTHLY RESERVATION CANCELLATIONS – Monthly renters must cancel one hundred twenty (120) days prior to check-in. Monthly renters who make a change that results in a shortened stay must be made at least ninety (90) days prior to check-in. MAXIMUM OCCUPANCY – The maximum number of guests is limited to eight (8) persons. An additional charge or $10.00 per person per night for guests in addition to eight (8) will be assessed. NO DAILY HOUSEKEEPING SERVICE – . NO DAILY HOUSEKEEPING SERVICE – While linens and bath towels are included in the unit, daily maid service is not included in the rental rate. However, it is available at an additional rate. We do not permit bath towels or linens to be taken from the units, but we provide extra beach towels for your use. RATE CHANGES – Rates subject to change without notice. FALSIFIED RESERVATIONS – Any reservation obtained under false pretense will be subject to forfeiture of advance payment, deposit and/or rental money, and the party will not be permitted to check in. WRITTEN EXCEPTIONS – Any exceptions to the above mentioned policies must be approved in writing in advance. PARKING – PARKING – Parking is limited to two (2) vehicles. Vehicles are to be parked in designated parking areas only. Parking on the road is not permitted. Any illegally parked cars are subject to towing; applicable fines/towing fees are the sole responsibility of the vehicle owner. FIREPLACE – The fireplace is a wood burning fire place. Please do not throw any paper or other combustible materials in the fireplace. Burning wood in the fireplace is prohibited from March 1- October 31. TIOLETS – DO NOT FLUSH anything other than toilet paper. No feminine products should be flushed at anytime. If it is found that feminine products have been flushed and clog the tiolet system, you could be charged damages of up to two hundred dollars ($200). REPAIRS AND SERVICE CALLS- I cannot guarantee against breakdown of air conditioning or other appliances. Please report any non-operative equipment promptly. I will make every effort to have repairs done quickly and efficiently. No rental refunds will be made due to failure of air conditioning, other appliances or items beyond my control. STORM POLICY– STORM POLICY– No refunds will be given for storms. TRAVEL INSURANCE – We highly recommend all guests purchase travel insurance. If you wish to purchase travel insurance, go to www.InsureMyTrip.com for details and to purchase. The owner is not responsible for any accidents, injuries or illness that occurs while on the premises or its facilities. The Homeowners are not responsible for the loss of personal belongings or valuables of the guest. By accepting this reservation, it is agreed that all guests are expressly assuming the risk of any harm arising from their use of the premises or others whom they invite to use the premise.

About: I lived in St. Augustine from 1998 thru 2007 before moving to Jacksonville for employment purposes where I reside now. Decided to rent the condo instead of sell for my daughters to enjoy in the future.
Why Island South:
I actually rented a condo for four years in Island South before purchasing in 2002. I looked around in St.Augustine for about 6 months before deciding to purchase in Island South. I felt that Island South was the best condominium complex in St. Augustine. There is only 36 units which makes it more quaint and relaxing then the other big condominium complexes. The grounds are very well manicured and the pool area is always kept clean. It is also located on the most desirable part of St. Augustine beach were driving is prohibited.
