We stayed here with three other couples and 7 children. The cabin is top shelf, the location and views are amazing and private. Owner is a gem and easy to work with. We plan on staying here again.

The owners of this property are great to work with. The cabin is spotless and well appointed. I think it is nicer in person than even the pictures portray. I would highly recommend this property if you are visiting Flagstaff or the Grand Canyon.

An absolutely amazing house. Words cannot do justice to this home. We had 6 cousins (and spouses) for an extended weekend-October 6-10. We were fortunate enough to be there for the first dusting of snow and to watch Mt Humphrey get coated as well. To be able to wake up and look out the enormous livingroom windows and see the mountains, was a sight to behold. The elk also showed up. There were elk in both the south and north pasture in front of the home. Though we did eat out some, the gourmet kitchen made meal preparation a snap. Though it is a little outside of Flagstaff, getting in and around was very easy. I cannot recommend this home highly enough.

This was the best cabin ever! We had 14 people in our party and we all had our own space and absolutely loved our visit. The house was just like we thought- pictures and description were very accurate. The owners are fabulous to work with and very easy to communicate with. There is so much to do in this area and the weather was fabulous. We would highly recommend this cabin to anyone. We had my In-laws with us and having the master bedroom and bathroom on the main floor made it very easy for them to avoid any stairs. The views are absolutely stunning! We will most likely be back again very soon!

We could not have been any happier with our stay and choice of this house. The house and the setting was beautiful, and the owners were great to work with. Not one person in our party of 13 had anything critical to say about our choice to hold our small family reunion here. Made me look like a genious which is rare. We enjoyed trips to Oak Creek and Grand Canyon, despite not wanting to leave our place. We enjoyed walks right out the door in the morning and hanging out on the deck. The basement and large screen TV were great for everyone to gather and watch the Mavs win the NBA Championship, and people loved the hot tub right out the basement door. The large table accomadated everyone for meals and the kitchen and outside grill were great. We all loved it here and would not hesitate to return. The ages of our party ranged from 86 to 14, and were from 5 different states.

We stayed here with another family. What a wonderful home!!! The home is open, clean and comfortable. We loved all the acres of open private meadows as well. Mornings were perfect with a view of the San Francisco Peaks and blue birds on the deck. Walking off the patio into the single tracks for a nice bike ride or walk while passing Elk was a great way to start the day . We have family in flagstaff, the house was so inviting everyone came to our place for family bbqs! The kids absolutly loved the basement with the 2 bedrooms, video games, ping pong, oversize tv and hot tub. The only regret we have from our trip was not having more time to "hang out" at the house. We look forward to our return visit.

The owners clearly spared no expense building this beautifully spacios 'cabin'. Amazing amounts of room inside and out. Very close to the base of Snow Bowl as well. I would absolutely recomend this as your choice of stay!

Our family of 7 and two yellow labs rented this beautiful mountain home for a week in October of 2010. We arrived and could not believe this mansion. There was no expense spared in the building and equipping of this place. The view of the mountain from the house and deck was breathtaking. We would sit for hours and just enjoy the view. The house is located in a convenient location for our sightseeing excursions. We were an easy drive to the Grand Canyon, Sedona, and the painted desert and of course the mountain across the meadow from the house. We are looking forward to our next trip to this treasure in the mountains of Flagstaff. Jeff and Liz were great to deal with and worked very hard to make our trip a success.

We stayed with my whole family (14 all together) at this wonderful home. The owners (Liz & Jeff McKenna) were wonderful hosts, to say the least. They were available for any questions/concerns before and during our trip. The home was welcoming and very user friendly. We were all amazed at the quality and extent of the accommodations that were provided. The house was amazing, the views were magnificent, the rooms were lovely, the layout was great! We hope to make this a new family tradition. Thank you Liz and Jeff for allowing us to enjoy your beautiful home.

Went up to this gorgeous cabin for a snow filled weekend. We happened to pick a great weekend since there was 3-4 ft of snow everywhere! Plenty of places to have fun and sled outside the cabin, but if you are like us, the cabin was so awesome that we spent a lot of time inside playing games and spending time with each other. Thanks again to the owners for making everything very simple. We are already planning our trip up there for next year. Maybe even a summer get-away if we have time. If you are thinking about a Flagstaff trip, you should definitely stay here.

The place was great. We went up for the weekend for my sons birthday. He had never seen snow. The hill was perfect for young sledders 7-9 year olds. We never left. The instuctions in the house where great so we did not take very long to feel at home and relax. We never left the property and everything worked in the house. So many little items were there so you did not need anything. We will definitly go back and use it again. Thanks for the easy process to use it also. What a great memory my son will have the rest of his life. That is all he can talk about for now. Have a great 2010!

Jeff & Liz, I wanted to follow up and thank you and your family for your hospitality and use of your AWESOME home. Our entire group of 8 was amazed at the quality and extent of the accommodations provided. It was a perfect home base for our trips to Grand Canyon and Walnut Canyon. We really enjoyed stargazing at night, the abundance of wildlife, and watching the sun rise over the meadow with the mountains in the not too distant background. I will recommend your home to anyone planning a trip to the area and if we make it back we will definitely stay with you again.

We thoroughly enjoyed our week at Flagstaff Mountain Haven. There were three generations (grandparents, children and grandchildren) and everyone had fun. The house is beautifully appointed with all the amenities you could wish for. The owners were responsive and helpful before and during our vacation. We would like to come back to enjoy a different season in this beautiful location and exceptional home.

This was a beautiful place to stay. My family and I have stayed in a different cabin every year for 5 years each winter and this was by far the best. I think we have found the cabin to stay in every year!

We stayed with my whole family (16 all together) at this wonderful home. The owners (Liz & Jeff McKenna) were wonderful hosts, to say the least. They were available for any questions once we arrived and were gracious with any help we needed. The home was welcoming and very user friendly. We stayed over the Thanksgiving holiday, and I'm a native of AZ, and to my greatest pleasure, it snowed. The views are wonderful and they have everything very carefully thought out. If you want a retreat that isn't to far from the town, stop looking! This is it. Thanks again Liz and Jeff.

The house is fantastic with seemingly no expense spared in creating a rich luxury experience. The location is fantastic, providing privacy and a great natural experience. During our stay we saw Elk, Hawks, and Hummingbirds on the property. We also saw road runners, antelope, deer, and condors in the surrounding area. Fine dining was available 15 minutes from the house, but with the full luxury kitchen staying into cook is also a pleasure. We used our stay to visit 6 national parks in the area creating a set of priceless memories of the beauty and diversity of the American West. Simply put, great house, great location, and many many things to do summer or winter.

Liz and Jeff, your cabin was absolutely perfect. With the gaggle of children and adults that enjoyed the Labor Day weekend, we never felt like we were on top of each other and the feel and the surroundings were incredible. If you are looking to rough it...this is not for you. If you are looking for a relaxing, luxurious experience...this cabin is perfect!!! Thanks again!!!

We spent a long weekend in this cabin last weekend, it was fabulous. The kids explored the beautiful land around the cabin while the parents played horse shoes and relaxed. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a peaceful and beautiful place to gather. The cabin was very large and comfortable also. Lots of games and movies to entertain everyone. Every window from this cabin had a view that took my breath away.

Absolutely Awesome!!! We stayed for Thanksgiving and cooked the first turkey dinner there. It was great. We counted somewhere around 25-35 Elk in the pasture one night around 1-2:00 a.m. I have to say this was one of the most relaxing long weekends I have had. Thanks Jeff and Liz!! We can't wait to come back.

Thanks to Jeff and Liz for their vision in constructing a spectacular residence with a wonderful view of The San Francisco Mountains and Humphreys Peak. The warm, cozy and comfortable feel of the home gives one a true relaxed "getaway" mindset. The openness and views brings the great outdoors even closer. The peacefulness beings out a serene sence of calm to the everyday grind of a fastpaced culture. It "IS" an escape from the world that everyone should experience. You will NOT be disappointed.

Jeff & Liz: The home is wonderful! Whether you are staying 1 night or 1 week, we can't imagine a more peaceful place to stay. We especially appreciated the abundance of wildlife (elk and turkey) that seem to show up daily and proximity to both hiking trails and the Snow Bowl resort. I personally enjoyed the beautiful vistas from the deck with a glass of wine -- it was the perfect end to every day! We will be back!

What a great home. I have stayed in many nice accomodations around the country but this was one of the best. You have a view of Humphreys mountain that is second to none. The first morning was waking to 11 elk roaming in the back pasture...unbelievable it is so clean and quiet I thought I was in heaven.

Thank you so much, Jeff & Liz, for allowing my hiking buddies and I stay at your cabin. Although only for the night, we had a wonderful stay. Your kindness and generosity is deeply appreciated. I'll be climbing Mt. Raineer next month, so Humphries was a great prep. We love you guys! Thanks a million! Michael Bradley

The house was FANTASTIC! The owners were so nice and helpful during the process of renting the house. When we arrived we realized it was even better then what we had expected. You feel like your camping in the forest in a 4000 sq ft home! We will be going back again because of our experience and we hope that anyone reading this will contact the owners and get our information to contact us. We will gladly tell you of our time spent at the house and how beautiful the home and location was.
