planned for relaxing and enjoying the company of friends, music or TV
Location: Richmond, San Francisco, San Francisco Bay Area, California, USA (short walk to museums in Golden Gate Park) View Map
Accommodations: House, 3 Bedrooms + No additional sleeping rooms avail, 2 Baths (Sleeps 6)
Keywords: House
Designed to accommodate up to 6 guests, every amenity has been provided including extra hair dryers, extra pillows, and extra thoughts on what would make a guest's stay in San Francisco the best possible experience.
So there are lots of reliable lists of the "best"... restaurants, specialty stores, current exhibits and seating layouts of the theaters, opera and symphony.
This lovely home is at the center of San Francisco - halfway between Ocean Beach at the western side of the City and the Ferry Building at the eastern point. Located near the Arguello entrance to Golden Gate Park, it is easy walking distance to the natural history museum, the new De Young Museum of Fine Art, the Japanese Tea Garden and the botanical gardens.
The house was built just prior to the 1905 earthquake and retains most of its original elegant wood details but has been remodeled to include all modern conveniences... without the addition of a garage.
An excellent public transportation system surrounds Golden Gate Ave and since parking is a problem everywhere in the City using a car is never the best option. There are taxis, shuttle buses and the metro available to and from the airport and rental cars can be delivered to the house from a rental car agency when you plan a day trip.
The hidden treasure of our neighborhood is the City's best deli/ gourmet grocery/ wine shop.. the famous Arguello Superette. Anything you might ever need to eat or drink is only steps away - including a catering service.
We have planned spaces for your enjoyment - whether touring or resting (lots of books and reading chairs) and when sun is out - a lovely deck overlooking the garden. We look forward to welcoming you the San Francisco.
