Enjoy this very comfortable, newly renovated, recently furnished, beautifully decorated fully air conditioned 3000 sq ft home located on a quiet cul-de-sac in the exclusive sailboat section of Punta Gorda Isles. Most rooms overlook the water or golf course. There is an additional 1200 sq ft screened in lanai area with a HEATED POOL overlooking the canal.
Dock, and just a 10 min boat ride to Charlotte Harbor and out to the open waters of the Gulf of Mexico.
Enjoy the sunset from the lanai and the master bedroom. Lanai includes a large table with chairs, a gas grill and lounge chairs. It has lighting to allow you to enjoy it in the evenings while you watch the sunset over the canal.
There are ceiling fans throughout, sliding glass doors open to allow the the greatroom and the lanai to become one big open living space.
The master bedroom has a king bed, cable TV and a large walk-in closet. The master bath has two sinks, shower and a separate large Jacuzzi tub. One guest bedroom has a queen bed and the other bedroom has bunk beds with a full size on the bottom and a twin on the top. The sofa in the great room converts to a queen sized bed.
The master bedroom and guest room both have recessing sliding glass doors that open to the lanai and pool.
The fully applianced kitchen with granite counter tops overlooks both the canal and the pool area. There is a dining area for four as well as a bar height counter top with three stools. After all your outdoor activities, relax in the comfortable living room with the large 40" TV. Satellite TV and high-speed INTERNET service provided.
Laundry room with washer and dryer, all linens are provided including beach towels.
Large two car garage and ample parking in driveway. There are two adult bicycles.
AIRPORTS: Less than 45 minutes to Regional South West Airport (RSW) in Fort Myers or 1 hour and 45 minutes to the Tampa International Airport (TPA). Fly Direct Air into Punta Gorda Airport 10 minutes from house.
RENTAL CAR: Enterprise and Hertz are located on Tamiami Trail in Punta Gorda, Enterprise with free pick up service. If you prefer to have your own car, several companies will drive it down for you.
GREAT LOCATION: This home is one hour north of NAPLES and one hour south of SARASOTA. Busch Gardens in TAMPA is less than 2 hrs away. Unlimited shopping, antiquing, and cultural activities available within an hours drive.
SHOPPING: Less than 10 minutes to Fisherman's Village and lots of charming local shops in town or many major shopping malls about a half hour drive. Several Grocery Stores, Drug Stores, Banks, Wal-Mart and Home Depot within 2-5 miles.
BOATING: Bring your sailboat or power boat or rent one nearby. Dock just steps outside this house on canal. Only a 10 minute boat ride to Charlotte Harbor with no bridges.
GOLF: Closest is a private golf course St. Andrews South Country Club & Golf course less than 5 minute walk from house and long term guests can obtain memberships.
RESTAURANTS: Fisherman's village and lots of great restaurants in town within 10 mins. List of nearby restaurants available.

We have stayed at this beautiful house for two years. The house is a bungalow with a beautiful pool area and view of the canal where you can hear and see the fish jumping. The house has three bedrooms, a beautiful living room, a good kitchen area and is clean and very comfortable. It is close to the excellent restaurants of Punta Gorda and has easy access to many excellent golf courses. Punta Gorda is a beautiful town whose downtown is well preserved. There is also quick access to places like Port Charlottee, Venice and Fort Myers. Both times we were there, we experienced a very relaxing and enjoyable vacation.
Recommended for:Age 55+.

After spending over a month at this sun-filled home, we all felt refreshed and wishing we had more vacation time coming. Sitting on the lanai, drinking our morning coffee, the sea gulls and other birds put on an air show for us as they flew over the canal. The home was well-furnished and clean. The neighborhood was quiet but filled with the friendliest people you could hope to find. When we did leave the rental we really enjoyed taking a 90 minute Nature tour at Babcock Wilderness Ranch (an easy 35-40 minute drive)-it is a must-see for visitors to this great area. Restaurants we enjoyed included: "River City Grill" and "The Torch" and "Phil's 41." Punta Gorda is a wonderful destination filled with scenic surroundings and hospitable people. We will return!
Recommended for:Girls getaway, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, families with young children, sightseeing, age 55+.

GREAT winter rental home! Far exceeded our expectations with QUALITY linens, furnishings & kitchen equipment. Pool was GREAT! Location was perfect! Excellent choice!! Wish we could have stayed longer than Jan & Feb 09. Very pleasant owners.
